GT5's collectors edition wasn't quite worth the extra cost for me. If GT6's collectors edition is similar, than I will probably not be pre-ordering.

Living in South Africa, pre-ordering may be difficult with the shipping and all. To be honest I am not too phased whether gt6 will make it onto the ps4 or not as I have no intentions of actually getting the ps4 anytime soon

Not yet for me, unless there are some nice extras. Hopefully I could get it with Christmas moniez or perhaps a friend could buy it for me :D

I will pre-order, but I will wait to see who gives me the best stuff for doing so.

I pre-ordered GT5 from Gamestop, because I didn't want them to sell out before I got there, and I do kinda like Joey Lagaono.

Just before the release there was a live helicopter shot on the news, flying over a local Best Buy showing the line outside waiting to buy some game at midnight. COD something maybe.

On my way to Gamestop and was very happy that I had reserved my copy of GT5 in advance. I was ready for the crowd!

[insert cricket sound here]

I walked in and got my copy in about a minute and a half.

Oh well, at least I got my Gamestop Camary (I've never driven) and my Stealth Mclaren.

I'm going to pre-order from Game Stop so I can get the 15th Anniversary Upgrade.

Gran Turismo and Battlefield are the only franchise I pre-order because I know they never let me down.

but I really don't support gamestop so I won't be pre-ordering from them.. I just hope the collectors edition will include the gamestop pre-order cars as well

I'm not pre-ordering. I've never seen the point of pre-order incentives.

There are 2 incentives. The extra stuff you get for one but more importantly the knowledge that the game will be there for you on day one rather than possibly being sold out. I always pre-order the games I know I want right away.

I preordered mine probably a few weeks ago or more while I was in my local Gamestop getting something else, only reason I even preordered is so I can pay it off in a few smaller chunks over the course of the coming months.

I figured there would probably be something like the 4 car bonus thing, didn't expect the Anniversary update. To me it's a bonus rather than an incentive because I'd already preordered and my own personal incentive is / was paying it off over time.

Pretty much a rip-off IMO.
How is it a rip off? That makes no sense.

The game is the same price as if you were to buy it new after it is released and you get a few bonus items to start off if you pre-order. Basically you get a little more for the same money and if you pre-order with a credit card you are not billed until the game is released.

I was already planning on pre-ordering the game, was just waiting to see what the difference would be between Amazon and Gamestop. After the news I went ahead and preordered from Gamestop
