I'm so happy that all the nervousness is over but all the excitement of watching is also over. I'm just glad that he could win this one and join the club of 5 tour winners and the exclusive club of 5 tour wins in a row. I don't know if he'll win next year but I really don't care. He's won 5 and is now a legend. I have to say though that this has been one of the most exciting, nail biting, pants pooping tours I've ever watched. You can't get any better than this years tour.

Wait, wait, lemme get this straight....

You don't care if he breaks history and wins 6 consecutive Tours? And what makes you happy that he won 5 consecutive? Did you even watch any/most of the races?

Didn't he make clear that he'll miss the excitement of watching the races? Duh?

I'm just glad Ullrich got his ass handed back on a platter by Armstrong, yep. :)

I DO care if he wins 6 straight. I was saying that he has won 5 and joined the club and even if he doesn't win his sixth I won't care because he won 5 in a row. That's not saying that I don't care if he wins or loses it's saying that if he loses i won't be upset because of what he has already done. And if he does win a 6th then of course I'll be happy.

And to answer your last question. HELL YES I watched every damn minute of it from the begining of the prologue until 11 o'clock last night when he was holding his trophy!!!!!!

I almost cried when Armstron crashed in the mountain stage a couple days ago, but he dominated, so it's ok. I don't think Ullrich got his ass handed to him. I wonder what would have hapened if He hadn't crashed in the final time trial. By the way, what do you guys think about Tyler Hamilton. he looks capable of winning the tour in a couple years.

Until 11... If that's in the evening, dare I say that you were watching reruns?

If you yourself were really watching you would know that on Sunday CBS has to show their little tid-bit on the tour at 2:00 p.m in which they go over what happened that week and that days stage, and then on OLN at 8:30 the have the full coverage which lasts until 11:00 p.m.

So BAM!! I know what I'm talking about.

If Armstrong hadnt crashed in the mountains, Ullrich wouldnt have waited and wouldnt consequently have lost his rythm and could have won the stage and if Ullrich didnt crash in the last ITT he would have won that too....

the race into Paris would have been a different matter...before the crashes Ullrich was 15 seconds behind....he would have won the tour if no one had crashed or if he had taken advantage of armstrongs misjudgement when he caught the childs bag....Ullrich was the strongest rider in this years tour....

but crashes happen and lifes a *****....there always next year...

for me the start of the show is Tyler Hamilton....that man is a hero...i have an immense amount of respect for the guy...he is modest, sporting and an inspiration to everyone...(armstrong could take a few lessons on sportsmanship from this his ex-teammate)
