Marco was very tongue-tied and confirmed to Gamer Muscle in an interview that the open world would have workshops, dealerships and places to refuel among other things for petroheads lol

Oh my...
We'll have a sort of test drive like mode in fact.
With a good physics...

I was afraid the game would be too classic... especially after a great game like AC1.
They needed to add real value.
And maybe they have.

Sorry about my english.

Fingers crossed they have a Pro Mode subscription in addition to just hoonigan mode or typical playing, with actual real racing which requires rules that are enforced for proper sports behavior, leagues, points standings across seasons. Still blows me away that almost 30 years later and games now act like actual racing rules have become "just too hard" ( for the lazy and nothing but poor excuses types) , (https://wiki.grandprixlegends.info/index.php?title=GPL_Recommended_Driver_Behaviour) but they weren't with Gran Prix Legends in 1998.

Here'e hoping for a good high fidelity driving model and actual racing. Penalizing any and all instead of those at fault is not racing, and enforcing position drops and hefty time fines is necessary to stop the tiny fraction of griefers from keeping 90% of players who only play offline from racing online.

A man of great taste.

Same here for the UK.

Agreed

Windows down and tunnel is the finest combo when driving.
Sorry to keep it off topic, but I am incredibly jealous of both of you, really love how the i30n looks and all I hear is great things about them.

I just hope it wont be stunted much, if at all, on consoles, ps5 for me.
Give us pls all features, full replay options etc. And optimized to 60 fps, no stutter, no pop ups.
And relatively bug free..
Maybe on ps6😋.

Where did you get this piece of info, if you don't mind me asking?
It was formulated more as a question, only without the question mark. Judging by the recommended specs it seems plausible that it's 1080p/60 though, maybe at medium/high?
The 2070 is almost exactly 6 years old so I doubt it can run the game at higher fps/resolution, but I hope I'm wrong.

Just a heads-up.

Assetto Corsa Evo now has it's own dedicated sub-forum here at GT Planet, I've created a Photo/Screenshot and Video thread to get the ball rolling.

Anyone planning on creating a Track and/or car list thread, before you do, ensure that you are willing to commit to seeing it out. ACE will be in Early Access for a year at least, with DLC likely after that as well. Car and Track lists are not just for Christmas, like pets, they are for life :):D

Cut him some slack, this is a review from a non gamer....

Misha worked with Kunos for the recreation of Nords for ACC so it is very likely that he is also helping them with EVO especially if the open world map is based on the surroundings of Nurburgring and in that video he has been talking about It without let it be very noticeable

Not sure if anyone's mentioned yet but the gameplay footage confirmed another car, being the i30 N. Looks like Hyundai's really going all-in on having their newer cars in games seeing how many we have in this and FH5

Yep it has been mentioned, but as I own one, I'm not going to get fed-up with it being repeated.

I just hope they have the fastback as well as the hatchback.

Well seeing that Hyundai is doing a competition in collaboration with Kunos for the PC version of AC1 with the Hyundai Elantra N TCR I wouldn't be surprised if that car also ends up in EVO.

Edit: Its confirmed :D

"Hyundai also confirmed that the ELANTRA N TCR touring car will feature in Assetto Corsa EVO’s car list, one of seven Hyundai models appearing in the racing simulation. It will be joined by the i20N, i30N, IONIQ-5 N, and N Vision, with two Hyundai models still yet to be confirmed."

I'll add the Elantra TCR to my list then. Guessing at least one of those unconfirmed models is the Elantra N

AC Elantra TCR mod for this event was not made by Kunos. Just check the car, how bad it is. It has Virtual TCR quality, shares a lot of stuff with that infamous mod, so I believe Hyundai did the same mistake like Racedepartment couple of years ago. I believe ACE version from Kunos will be top quality, no doubts about that.

I think the 2 missing Hyundai models will be the IONIQ-6 N and the Kona N

I don't see the Elantra N and Veloster N, for example, because it would be more difficult for Kunos to access the cars to scan them than the other two.

To get 2560x1440 @ 120fps or 5120x1440 @ 120fps will this require a $3500 AMD 9950X3D and 5090 or 8900XTX?

Hoping for a high quality 90+fps downloadable 7.1 surround sound Evo video to be able to adequately evaluate.

And where are the critical and most important game play features -
proper racing etiquette enforcement as an option?
Track editor?
HUD configuration/creation with easy community sharing, like tunes and helmet skins and liveries?
Rally racing?
Ice Racing?
Point to Point events?

for lapping a track, it looks and sounds top notch and is exciting, Free roam also COULD be pretty great, but game play features are what keeps folks past 10 second the oh that looks pretty.

Nothing shown gets my hopes up. I would love to see it do so though.
