Assetto corsa coming to PS4 and Xbox one

I can't play this anymore because my T300 has died. It seems the shop I bought it from sells the wheel anymore, but it should be in warranty. What should I do?

If the shop will replace it, do that. If not, contact Thrustmaster directly and have your receipt/invoice and serial number ready.

May be totally off-base as I don't know the symptoms, but I know some T300/TX wheels had failures with the break-away cable. I very simple fix to just replace the cable - I had to after a couple years of use (wouldn't calibrate), a $2.50 part.

So a question about DLC, does DLC include more career races or is it just cars and tracks? i play only singleplayer.

There's rumor that Laguna Seca will be one of the next tracks. DLC is just cars and tracks. Hopefully they'll add more career races but I'd presume they'd be free.

I've only driven brands with the McLaren GT3 and the old Ford escort too...

Both Kunos and SMS have remarked on the extreme cost of the license for Suzuka. With Kunos's focus on Italian and European tracks to date, I don't forsee Suzuka or any Japanese tracks on the horizon.

This game is really starting to annoy me now. The AI are brutal, and I feel as though I need to spend a heap of time practicing alone. Which I will do because this game is making me look like absolute crap.

I'd worry about that. Talked to my local GameStop. They only got 3 copies and one guy returned it day of. At GameStop, no sign this game was even released this week. Worried about $$ kunos will have for longterm support. This game coil have used more marketing.

I'd prefer personally they keep focussing on Europe and get some lesser used tracks in the game. I find it actually pretty annoying to run the same tracks over and over again in every racing game.

Question, I thought Porsche financed the restructure of Kyalami. How about that one arriving with the Porsche DLC? Any chance?

If we're suggesting tracks for the Kunos guys to head to with their laser scanners, one comes to mind first: Mas du Clos. I'd like to see it immortalized in a game before it eventually succumbs to the wear and tear of time.



If the devs are feeling particularly generous, they could even include the F40 as featured in this video:

I had to replace the break-away cable also on my TX, i bought this one.

I suspect even the LeMans license was cheaper. From the variety perspective I'd rather have, let's say 2-3 other tracks that are less expensive to license than 1 that's really expensive.

And just for fun, the opposite: I bought my first console after 20+ years of being PC only. For me it was Gran Turismo (specifically GT5p) which tempted me to the "dark side" with amazing graphics far ahead of any PC race sim.

As a result, I'm absolutely useless with a console controller. Give me HOTAS, keyboard+mouse or wheel and I'm happy, but I have terrible control with the little controller thumbsticks

A man after my own heart. I gave up on PCs when every time I bought a new game I need more RAM and upgraded graphics card at best! I also started with GT5 Prologue and still consider it an outstanding (half?) game ;-)

BTW I go back to SX486s and 2 GB RAM and playing Doom on a keyboard when every time you let loose with the chain gun the whole game would slow down and stutter. Oh and online gaming (HA!) was direct dialing into a friends PC. Yeah, them were the days :-) The graphics were awesome compare to a PS1 with all 9 pixels and 3 colours ;-)

I thought the F40 step 3 was effectively the specs of the LM version, just not graphically changed? (Just like the F458 step 3 is a slick shod Ferrari Challenge race car)

The game is really hard, some novice races is impossible for me to win, even on easy .

If i had to choose i would choose Le Mans over Suzuka .

I do have a wheel, but I'm using pad for now, just to make sure it's playable. Sometimes I just wanna play feet up, you know?

And well, it's brilliant with a pad. SMS could learn a lot from these guys.

I think GT6's suzuka 2014 is laser scanned. Not sure if im right or not. Actually i think all the Japan race tracks on GT6 are laser scanned. Of course this is my assumption. Because when driving on japanese race track in gt6, the sensation is very different compare to other racing title.

The one in Pcars ? I couldn't really recognize it as Suzuka. I'm still using G27 as I bought it new replacing my DFGT for GT6. Still waiting whether GTSoon could make me buy a new wheel and ps4.

While Laguna Seca In Pcars is pretty spot on. Last time i played Pcars, i remembered i lapped Laguna Seca for few hour using the Lotus 49 cosworth. Its a very interesting combo AC had Laguna Seca Mod on pc, i installed and i never tried because nordschleife always make me lost count of my playing time in AC.
