I was talking with some acquaintances at the weekend

Well, i never thought they would've been friends of yours mate, you know what with that slighty bossy attitude of yours. Lol! ;) šŸ‘

Yet again i say, It's early days for AC, whether or not it was a fantastic game at release isn't important now as that time has passed. We could all be here arguing the toss until we're blue in the face :nervous: and nothing will change it. All i see is AC as a great base for the game to be improved apon with more patches, cars, tracks, PRIVATE LOBBIES where any car/track combo can be used, and other goodies!! #BePositive!

So whether or not you got stung for Ā£1:50, or the game is "niche" or not doesn't really matter now. Just try and make the most of it what there is, and all the good stuff that's to come in the next few months! ;) At least for PS4 users like myself there are racing games to enjoy now, as only 18 months ago we only had DriveClub........

And as mentioned above, all of you start "banging the drums" about private lobbies being added, as that will help the game no end, with championships, and leagues being setup like in Pcars, F1 etc......This is the game's real downfall at the minute with these dodgy preset public things that online offers.......

If by hardcore you mean easiest game to drive with tones of grip then i agree. Its by far the best thing about AC, the amount of grip that race cars have, exactly as it should be.
What else about it is hardcore though?

If some people are saying its not really a 'game' yet it has loads of gamey stuff to do in it, then it must just be a 'bad' game in that case no?
Also why did they bother adding in a career mode or special events or arcade ticker timer gate games at all if they weren't trying to make a 'game'?
Hardcore does not necessarily mean difficulty. It is a general term that usually means, in the context of racing games, that most of the attention is paid to the physics engine and very little attention applied to the game surrounding that physics engine. To me that describes AC pretty faithfully.

My 2 year old once took a dump in our living room, guess it must run in the family :dopey:

I wonder why would that be.

Any chance of a quick video?
I get the sound problems on my PSN download version on PS4 in a good number of cars, including the Alfa, but it's only while I'm turning. It's a bit awkward, so I've gone back to PC version and was going to check again after the patch. I'm also not technically getting the sound as loud overall that I could be, because my old headphones (Turtle P11's) aren't technically PS4 compatible, but they work well enough for now, till it's time for new ones.

Now, that's just great... Was going to play for a bit, only to find out that the throttle pedal on my T300RS is broken.

It's under warranty, but still... šŸ¤¬

That's weird. Unscrew the bottom and take a look. I opened mine once and laughed at what I saw inside... very empty, some poorly glued-down wires and a load of grease.
Let me call them tomorrow and see what comes out of it. Besides, I don't think I'd make it to the 12th screw...

Also, sorry for the O/T.

Can anyone tell me is the Prestige Pack available for purchase on Xbox Store because it's not on PSN...also there's no Japanese Pack on UK PS Store too...

The option for Virtual Wheel rotation limit is in the Video options.
I didn't see it at first because I thought it would just be under "steering animation" then realised that it isn't. I have just messed with it and it's fine now, trouble is I don't which one changes it. I'm disappointed with the AI, they still act like I've just been hit by the Titanic, I thought we'd be up to date with the PC AI in this update or is this just a temporary measure? Also im racing against Japanese Dlc pack.

Yeah it looks like officially it still hasn't been released yet although in the News section in game it states that the Japanese pack is now available etc. The cars have been added to the dealership but are not yet selectable.

To my knowledge, Prestige Pack is not yet available online.

I'm interested to see if they make mistakes or at least don't correct mistakes as (inhumanly) fast as previously.
