Fiddling around with the DS4 controller settings has taken more time than I'd expect during these first few hours with the game. I have a question about speed sensitivity as I'm debating whether I should set this value closer to 0% than 100% or vice versa, but which end of the scale is the most realistic?

Here's my controller settings (with update 1.03).. Normaly i play with T150RS wheel..but some times i can't mount it.. And have to use the controller..

Vibration: 85
Speed sensitivity :25
Steering speed: 100
Deadzone:1
Filter:0
Gamma 2.8

In video setting put the visual wheel at 400 degrees.
Hope you like them (i play with manual transmission, abs in factory or off,TC in factory in off, stability at 0%) and with lot of different cars...

I appreciate your general advice but I have already performed enough tests to decide on my preferred values for most of the settings. My question on speed sensitivity still stands.

I like more lower speed sensitivity, cause like i got now my settings it aproches wat i get when I'm playing with the wheel (steering sensitivity and speed sensitivity)

PSStore updates tomorrow, i guess it would be reasonable to have Japanese pack
I think that there will no DLC's till Microsoft launched the Update for Xbox One..

Same thing happened with project cars, they don't published any DLC till the two console versions where updated

DLC is already out on Xbox, but we don't have the patch yet.

Some people said to me that they pulled back the DLC on xbox one.
So, for me it's logic and the same system that was with DLC'S from project cars.
Till the two console versions don't have the Update, no party

My Japanese pack is already installed and ready to go.

I recall mention of a Porsche season pass on Steam. I assume it will be made available around the time of the first Porsche pack release?

Maybe I'm missing something but why do AI cars pull away from me on straights? I can exit a corner better than the AI opponent in front of me, but the AI car will then pull away while the car behind gains ground. I just ran two single-make races with the Audi Quattro and Huracan GT3, respectively. Same issue in both races. It's like the cars I drive are missing 5% performance even though I pay careful attention to driving properly and shifting gears when I'm supposed to.

I also checked a video on YouTube where someone is casually hotlapping the Alfa Romeo 4C. I compared the top speeds in the video to mine at several braking points, but also here my car is slightly slower even though I don't make any real mistakes. What could cause this lack of top speed?

My first guess would be tuning or the lack of it. My second guess would be fuel load. Just guesses!

I've noticed this too. I've always thought the AI get a lot of (too much) corner exit speed which helps them down the straights, but recently I've also begun to think the AI get a lot more drag off the player car than we do off them. I've gone through a corner behind 2 cars yet the one in front of me gets some drafting from the car ahead of him whereas I don't get so much.

Makes me wonder how they've programmed the drafting system and is it effective. Just curious, not bemoaning it.

Maybe the stability control AI run with gives them better traction out of corners?

Do you remember which assists you were using? The Huracan GT3, for instance, has 8 different Traction Control settings. How do you know you're exiting a corner better than the AI if they're pulling away from you? You may be coming into the turn hotter than the AI is, but you could be pulling a "Fast In - Medium Out" while the AI is pulling a "Slow/Medium in - Fast Out". Check the TC settings - especially with the Huracan. TC can definitely slow you down in some cases and we all know that the better the exit speed the better the top speed on the ensuing straightaway. These are all just guesses, of course. Good luck!

And remember that a higher TC number actually means less TC, 1 being the highest amount of TC and 10 (or whatever the highest number on that car is) would be the least TC.

Thanks for adding that Brandon. That's like, a really, really important thing to remember when adjusting TC or ABS on race cars especially, considering they usually have several setting levels. 👍
