I rarely see that, if im honest. And I race a lot online. Although lately I dont race much in Monza or Spa, in Imola people are respectful (and probably Imola is the track where I race mostly).

When we're playing the Zero Cup races sometimes I forget I'm online since we usually know each other how we drive. If we outbrake and don't make the turn let the driver through. We accidentally shunt said person, hold back and let him through. We try our utmost of gentlement driving but sometimes not always though there is a stranger creeps into the lobby.

It is Porsche Pack Vol II. They tweeted it a few minutes after the tweet you quoted. Also, the game update will go live on Tuesday too.

And they are saying Update, PP2 and Red Pack. So i count on "Update" to be the special thing.
And by the looks of it Custom Championships might be a game changer more than private lobbies

@BrainsBush The tweet with "So... Something... " was 13mins before the tweet announcing that Porsche Pack Vol II will launch too. You got them the wrong way round.

I think you're reading things wrong. Chronologically, there was the Red Pack teaser, then the "something else" tweet, then the Porsche PPV2 tweet. The latter of which was in fact mentioned in the blog on their site last month, explaining it would arrive simultaneously with the Red Pack.
I don't expect anything else — two DLC packs is a fair amount already.

At least on PC, DLC is always accompanied by an update. Presume it will be the same on consoles, since the DLC content has to be added to the game (via update) in order for you to use it. 👍

I know. Thats why the dlc Downloads are only 10mb in size. But the Console and PC versions are being worked on to be more on par with each other and Custom Championships have been released a month ago on PC.

No no, the update is for sure coming. Along the PP2 and RP2. They always have done that way. But that "something else" is 99% for sure the PP2.
It is a little bit confusing because the people who follow more closely the team, we already know the PP2 and the RP were coming early january. But that "We might have mentioned it recently!" is guided to the people who only follows the twitter account.

Best thing to do is just wait and see what is included in the update, no use getting all built up for something being in it only to find it's not ready yet.
Yes PC players have had many new features in the last couple of months, but the update schedule for the console has not been quite the same as we've seen. Just be patient with them.

Well, technically, but actually it was barely two weeks ago. Hopefully this update brings the console version more in-line with the PC version and maybe adds a few of the things you guys are missing. The custom championship could/should inject some life into the console version, I haven't used it yet but I'd guess it will be much more enjoyable than the career mode.

Just "limbering up" before the next Porsche Pack arrives.........
My Thrustmaster TH8A shifter finally showed up today, and what fun, and really emersive, just lacking consistancy atm, but that will come with time!! 👍 I'm still using the basic pedals that came with the T150, so i have to "blip" the throttle by lifting off between each gear change, therefore i'll need to upgrade to some "Pros" soon, but still great fun!

Yep Brandon, but you have to lift off the gas for the next gear to engage, on Pcars you can change gear without lifting though. So AC is the more realistic in that regard.
Edit: I haven't tried the "sequential plate" on the shifter yet, but i imagine you can change gear without lifting, like in real life.

Concerning the career,does anyone yearn for what Grid Autosport did? The memorable battles with rival teams such as Ravenwest and Kicker,and the recognisable drivers you get to know - plus the added drama which reverse grids gave.
I had so many intense battles and memorable moments with rivals - i just wish that could translate over to the great physics of todays sims.
In AC and Pcars,i feel the other AI drivers are so bland and forgettable - i proper long for an in depth championship i can look forward to. Anyone have any views on this?

What are your plans for creating a custom championship? How many tracks and which racing class? Can you put mandotory pitstops into it?

IMO this lobby is the best and most fun lobby to join, tha AC at Imola is a lobby I've joined many times and is the cleanest lobby bar once or twice, but the odds are good.

This absolutely drives me insane. It happens on the Official Forums with so much speculating and just nonsense. I mean, you're going to find out what's in the update in 24 hours. Is it really so important to have the change log that you'll lose your freakin' mind? Ugh...
Oooh...I'm so jelly! I need so much new equipment along with a kidney (I think. Don't know for sure). Stick-shift is much more important.
I thought that's what the Auto-Clutch option was for?

From what i have seen from the pc version you can select a racing calendar, length and conditions, points system. And you can set up your own field of Cars, meaning for example multiclass with LMP and GT or whatever.
What you cant do is mandatory pitstop.

This is what really annoys me...its supposed to be a true race simulator but we cant have pit stops?! I just dont get it...does the pit lane actually function in the game?
