Are there any cars or tracks in the world that haven't been created at least half-decently by the AC modding community?
Plenty. There's no good legit versions of Watkins Glen, Daytona, Indy, Lime Rock, Sebring, St. Pete, Long Beach, Sonoma. Most of those are the first ones I'd go to if I was a track modder. As for cars, too many to list. There's a lot of oddball mod cars though, but a lot of icons are nowhere to be found.
Are you sure? I would say if i ask teams driving in Blancpain GT if they were fine with their liveries in a racing Game the majority would say yes without extra Money. And Teams like AF Corse who are basically unofficial Factory Team of Ferrari had their liveries in the Game with the 458.
Anyway, as i said before, Kunos should use the mod options of Xbox One and PS4 and set up a Server where you can upload liveries made on PC. It works well in Fallout 4
Absolutely liveries will require licenses. Just think of all the brand names on any given livery, those all need a license agreement. Plus the team "owns" the image as they were the ones who created/commissioned it and it represents their brand. Hell, I'm pretty sure Martini has even patented their iconic livery stripes to ensure nobody else uses them.
The complaints about how long it took to get the Red Pack onto consoles are indeed best put into perspective of the amount of controllable functions on those hybrid cars and how to get everything usable with a controller.
I'm curious if they implemented some kind of on screen pop-up menu system or figured out a way to get all functions on the controller without losing anything important.
Yeah, that's why I'll never race that car online, I'd need at least a year of university just to understand and learn all the controls.
