Earlier last year, when the radio ban was active, they had to mess with them themselves. Otherwise it's usually their engineer that tells them over the radio which settings to apply. I don't think that there are any settings a team can do remotely. Only checking data transmitted from the car to the pitwall/paddock/factory.I have a question that I imagine you could answer. When Lewis Hamilton gets into his car with all of these hybrid functions and settings to play with, is he entirely responsible for tinkering with these throughout a lap to optimize his performance, or can these functions be controlled remotely by his team or via a routine that was predetermined? If these drivers actually have to mess with all of these settings all the time, I really have a newfound respect for them.. and also sympathy. They'd need to be half racer, half engineer.
I subscribe to the "official" forum. I read his post,I agree with %90 of what he says. Go there, submit your problems and issues and be patient.Do you actually think they come here to read what was just posted on their forum? Really? Twice! Yeah I buy all the copies of newspapers to read the same article about last night's hockey scores. Even though it gets sent to my phone.Really unfortunate how some respond to feedback that doesn't float their boats. 👎
It shouldn't be posted here because the developers read another forum? Consider the fact that there are people who appreciate knowing what other players find, or don't find.
How is saying something here, getting it fixed there? Go to their forum, you know the guys that "make the game" explain the issue, show a video and be patient. They actually respond and try to fix things. What a 🤬 concept!

I subscribe to the official forums over there.I already read his post before he posted here. Perhaps he can PM his other friends that own the game instead of posting it twice in different threads. Just my opinion, everything does not get fixed right away. I know in millennial terms this is painfull. I have an 18 year old daughter.Thats why they have safe spaces. Just an opinion, not calling anyone a millennial.Except my daughter.Apparently you ignored the link he posted where he did exactly what you're suggesting. Nothing wrong with coming here to discuss it with other friends and let them know he's brought these issues to the attention of the devs.

Coming from a guy that owns a PC. Epic. Like it affects you.So how did the new update affect your game Brandon?Yes I own a Ford, but go to the GM site for recalls. OK. Actually I don't own a Ford!Everyone, I need your attention please. Do not, I repeat DO NOT post anything here related to Assetto Corsa that's already been posted somewhere else on the interwebs because Mr. Jimbag does not want to have to read it again here. We understand you're just trying to be helpful and share information with other members who may not visit other parts of the internetz, but it is causing him to trigger and we want to make sure this is a "safe space" for everyone. Only GTP original information is allowed from now on.
Thanks a lot for the info. I don't know, but I get this feeling that all of these quirky functions dilute the true racing. I imagine Ayrton Senna sheds a tear in heaven every time some MGU-K dial is clicked mid-lap. I'm sure that discussion has been beaten to absolute death elsewhere though, no need to go on about it hereEarlier this year, when the radio ban was active, they had to mess with them themselves. I remember an interview with Stoffel Vandoorne that when he was called in to replace Alonso, he spent the entire time of his flight from Tokyo to Bahrain on studying and memorizing the steering wheel manual.

Hey that's your choice. If I want an answer or have a question,I go to the source. They actually respond to emails. As for Donced, perhaps there is a more constructive way of communication. I'm trying to enjoy the new DLC,not here yet.Sure my friend, but i myself do not have an account for the official website for the game, as i like to rely on finding out things/fixes/patches etc here on GT Planet, as that way all the info is contained in one place, in GTP, so therefore it wouldn't be necessary for me to have an account there. And as others mention/inform the people on the Kunos website/forum anyway, that gives me even more reason for not having one, as it would be a bit like a broken pencil, pointless!
And thanks to people like @Donnced , who like to inform us here (in his free time remember) about the communications he has with Kunos on their forum, i am nothing but greatful to him, and others who inform us too, and it's not for being one of their Minions/Friends/Fellow trollers etc...
Just enjoy the new DLC mate, and have fun, that's all i say.
P.S. i notice the music on the menu screen is at last in stereo, not mono!!

Has anyone tried the two new Maserati 250F's? The 12 cylinder and 6 cylinder...I don't think I've seen a single comment. I'm curious to see what you guys think.
After the 1.10 update I also noticed the menu music coming through all channels when I first loaded the game [using 5.1 setup at the time]. But after going on track for a session and then backing out to the menu again, the music reverted to playing through the right side speakers only. Not sure if this is still the case?

Criticizing the one we love is part of the process and will make it better, doing it in a non productive, childish manner, only brings confrontation which is rarely conductive of progress.
Constructive usually include describing the situation, explaining why it is not optimal and bring a form of solution to improve it. I am really looking forward to some of those, but I have not seen any lately.
It is typical for posters who enjoy complaining for the sake of complaining to spread their rants all over the internet, must make them feel important or something, must be something missing in their life.
The professional complainers and their minions, some do not even play the game, are more like little bullies trying to feel important. Best to just ignore the rant, ignore button works great, and concentrate on the posters who are actually trying to help.

The only place that I really drive them at is Monza 1966. I've run them on Spa-Francorchamps a few times and had fun. I tried the Nordschleife once and I just kept crashing. The car was so destroyed it wouldn't even make it the full lap.yes (see also pics in the photo thread). Obviously a complete different kind of driving. Also between the two 250F's. Like you have to learn to drive again.
They work nicely at Silverstone (old and new)The only place that I really drive them at is Monza 1966. I've run them on Spa-Francorchamps a few times and had fun. I tried the Nordschleife once and I just kept crashing. The car was so destroyed it wouldn't even make it the full lap.
Speaking of non-productive, childish posts:
Accept that people have different opinions to your own.
What @Donnced is doing is the definition of constructive.
By your logic, most of GTPlanet's game-specific forums should be completely free of any criticisms or suggestions for fixing/improving, since people should just "go to the source". Which is something I know you haven't done with other titles, so its interesting you're so insistent on it with this one.
I'm assuming you meant PCARS? Yeah that was a fabulous forum for getting answers.Speaking of non-productive, childish posts:

That flame bug has been there a while, it usually is caused by pausing or rewinding when flames are showing.Great afternoon (CET) fun with the Assetto Corsa update. And I have not tried every available car yet. The Aventador is indeed a devil. The brakes....for that reason I mounted an extra vertical post under my pedals, otherwise the Playseat plate would already have been broken. Also tried the Ferrari F1 cars. That sound!! I do not know if it is a bug but I miss the moan radio button
On a more serious note: when I watch a replay I noticed that at most cars constantly flames come out of the exhaust. Only in replay and 100% of the track while on throttle, brake. All the time. Strange?
Not tried any yet, been busy and gonna load up now. Hardly tried any of the J pack and PP1 yet, oh yea did i mention i bought season pass the other week? WoopHas anyone tried the two new Maserati 250F's? The 12 cylinder and 6 cylinder...I don't think I've seen a single comment. I'm curious to see what you guys think.
Yes its a random bug that was always in the Game since flames have been added with the Day One Patch. Happens randomlyOn a more serious note: when I watch a replay I noticed that at most cars constantly flames come out of the exhaust. Only in replay and 100% of the track while on throttle, brake.
