It's more than one website now... The news of the delay is in expansion..No source supplied and the only site with the info, in not convinced on that yet.
I only paid $23 for the game on Steam. Best bargain I've ever had on a video game.Any particular reason why the basic game is only £30 and the special edition only £37? Not knocking it, just odd as to why its a lot cheaper at release than pretty much any game?
Crazy good value, give it 2 weeks after release and it'll be £15 secondhand, would make my PCars special edition for £20 2 weeks after release look over priced..lol.
I'm going to wait in this from 505 Games or KS, as right now no press release in it seems to exist and as far as I can see no website is linking to one. It's more than one website now... The news of the delay is in expansion..
Just please 1 developer, put out a game without a freaking patch. Take your sweet arse time.Assuming that Assetto Corsa is delayed again I have to say I am not remotely surprised. Just 4 weeks from launch and there is not a sign of new screenshots, footage or any previews. That absence of activity speaks volumes.
I am really excited to get my grubby mitts on Assetto Corsa and while another delay is hugely disappointing it will make for a better experience in the end. Better to delay than release unfinished as is increasingly becoming the routine these days. These rumours of delays are usually correct and will likely be confirmed tomorrow.
Prove me wrong Kunos...

Nothing about a delay on official social media and Amazon has it at June 2nd so just 4 weeks to go. The game will probably become popular through word of mouth, I like that it's also cheaper than your average game. Considering the lack of content compared to Forza for example is reasonable thoughAssuming that Assetto Corsa is delayed again I have to say I am not remotely surprised. Its all well and good defending this by saying developing games is a tough job, but for the love of God don't give us release dates till you pretty much know your on top of the issues.... is it that hard just to be open and honest?
Clearly AC is well off being finished game on console so they only have themselves to blame if the proverbial hits the fan...
And anyone thinking they are delaying it to improve the experience.... hmmmm, how'd that go with PCars?
DON'T SAY IT'S READY TILL ITS PRETTY MUCH READY.
If that was the case 90% of AAA games and damn near 100% of indie titles would released a week after announcement of a release date
Mmmmm no...since GT6 Kazonuri lost a user and fan (me)
personally i prefer the "surprise motherflipper" moments compared to being told A game or B game is coming half a year from now. Majority of the JRPGs coming to pc are doing that and its great though Barclays are pretty pissed off with my spendingExactly, it doesn't make it right.
Anyway its now on Amazon as 30th Aug so its official...... its a shame, a real shame, i'm allowed to be a bit cheesed off in a gaming context surely? People should allow people to express annoyance that they now have to wait.
Plenty in DiRT and PCars still to enjoy, just lost all my Forza 6 save data so that now means i may just sink back into that eventually till Aug...

I've just seen better simulation games, with better quality and don't stop support of their games without saying anything..
Just don't care if GT Sport comes in 2016,2017 or don't comes at all..don't gonna buy it
I don't think you can compare pCARS delays with AC delays just like that. pCARS was crowdfunded and had a lot more people working on the game and testing the game as well. AC is done by a much smaller team. I agree however that several games can profit from AC's delay. Wanted to pre-order it as well but I'll wait now until it is actually released and will decide then.
Biggest winner is SMS, firstly it doesn't make their launch look abnormal now, and secondly they release PCars GOTY today, anyone who was thinking of waiting for AC having not picked up PCars yet will surely now just get PCars...
From a political gaming context it would of really done Kunos the world of good to of not had delays, they could of really stole a march on SMS in the perception stakes.
I'd wager a Christmas release now and certainly for I'll not go near this game (AC) till i get some balanced reviews, I so nearly pre ordered it yesterday as it was cheap but for sure I'm not now.
Could someone tell me, when devs get pre orders they get paid for them right?

As I've said to my staff brethren: I'm sorry guys. I'm just as excited for you guys to play something I've enjoyed to no end for a while now, as you are to buy it and do the same.
