i am certainly pre ordering it for the cars.. WHEN it is close to release and i know it wont be pushed back again. the issue is, where in the usa is the prestige pack. i dont want to pay extra for something i should have had in the first place butdidnt because it wasnt sold here.

Game stop USA has the prestige pack... http://www.gamestop.com/ps4/games/assetto-corsa/126543 and the starting price for the game is $49.99 not $59.99 like everything else.. so if you have amazon prime or best buy GCU.. it will only be $39.99. There are options.

oh nice, didnt know gamestop had it for sale with prestige! yes, i am part of the bby gcu, so i wonder if pre order would have the performance included . i am fairly certain prestige would not be over 10 on its own on psn.

Have they said up to which DLC content they will release the console version?
first three dlcs are coming and the other two will be at a discount on launch. Well at least that was said around a month ago, situation may change.

Maybe it's just me noticing this now, but the pre-orders on PS Store now mention that they include the Performance Pack.
Pre-order now and receive the Performance Pack DLC which features the Ferrari 488 GTB, the Audi R8 V10 Plus and Corvette C7 Stingray, as well as an exclusive Assetto Corsa theme.

Was this written in the description all along?

FS7
You mean 10km Monza?
you know too much

Agreed with everyone saying pre-order bonuses are an abhorrent practice. Especially with a game that needs to up its car count as much as AC. Also, some of those cars are already in the PC version since ages ago. It's just stupid. I feel sorry for those buying on consoles because of no modding, and this whole pre-order rubbish as well.

Having said that, AC is one of those games that you will not regret pre-ordering. Also, from what I understand there's no price difference? If that's the case, and you're gonna get it quite close to release (not 12+ months down the line at 50% off), then from your point of view it makes no difference whatsoever which version you're getting.

The pre order pack seems less outrageous when you consider that we will be getting a lot of previous dlc for free.

I think the problem here is the pre order practice in general, not solely this games publishers.

Hey guys, I have a quick question. Do you think I could enjoy this game even if I totally disliked Project Cars? Thanks

It depends what you disliked about Project Cars. If you're into collecting 700+ cars and adding different turbos or adding rear wings and changing the rims, ala Gran Turismo, then you'll be disappointed with Assetto Corsa as well. So, it would help to know what you like and what you don't like. Then someone could tell you if Assetto Corsa is a good fit for you. Personally, I think that if you like to drive virtual cars in even a semi-realistic environment then you'll love AC. The reason I say that is because I think AC feels superb when you're driving. The physics are awesome. The FFB is awesome to me. Again, tell us what you want and what you don't want in a racing game.

Thanks, I mean: what I totally disliked about PCars is how it gets frustrating playing with joypad. Endless loading screens just to wreck the car at the first turn. I like racing games a lot, but I don't have a wheel (and I don't want it) i like racing games a lot, but in a "console-way".
BTW, it's not realism wich scares me. I'm actually playing Dirt Rally and I love it.

As ALB123 replied it depends, I am totally addicted to AC, if there was only one, it would be it, and I would not be missing any other. That said, I still drive the others, as it does not make them bad, just not often, might even say exceptionally.
We are all sharing a hobby, driving simulated cars on a Computer or Console, but the reasons we do it and what we enjoy and/or is important to us varies wildly, therefore any opinion is to be taken with a (big) grain of salt.

What are the chances that we get another delay?
I would preorder it from PSN but immediate payment is required and it would suck to pay for it and have to wait another 4 months...

Impossible to say. The newly released trailer with the release date is a good sign of progress following the schedule, but I guess unforeseen delays are always possible. I think we're talking weeks rather than months should there be another one.

Let's hope it won't come to that...But I guess I can preorder a few days before relase to be 100% sure just to collect those 3 cars...

My personal opinion - out of the box, Project CARS gamepad defaults are horrible. AC is significantly better in that regard. As for loading screens, I'd say they're probably pretty similar to each other...
