Is this direct capture or recorded from a stream?
FFB on 100 is way to strong, and like @NLxAROSA already pointed out you're loosing too much detail.May I ask why the ffb is reduced by half (From 100 to 50)? Is that a sort of way to simulate power steering, or the default ffb is too strong?

Yeah I like this guy's reviews generally, very informative and honest (obviously just his opinions). When he was talking about the AI it sounded like he was referring to pCARS' AI, not AC's. Surely they're not as reckless? I'm still concerned by general performance, but won't be able to test for myself for over a week. Argh! That's not very positive. And he certainly has a point. The release of AC is even worse at some points than pCARS.
BUT i can live with it because the driving model is awesome and i have faith they can solve a lot of problems in the future.
For the average console player it's already too late. Only the hardcore players(like me) have enough patience to buy a game and wait for a few months to have a decent quality. I see it as a long term investment, but that's not how the average console players think.Well the driving model alone doesn't sell games to the masses. I hope for Kunos they get all sorted out 👍 because this could quickly turn into a very negative experience on console for them.
It's the dash cam. It lets you hide the wheel.Guys, just a quick one: I noticed the steering wheel was absent from the latest GTP news vid.
Is this a simple on/off option?

Update on console resolution: both run at 1080p.
Quite a few games have done this, for example Driveclub, DiRT Rally and Sebastien Loeb Evo to name three PS4 options.Never seen a wheel removal option before... Interesting

The advantage of the dashcam view is that it tends to have a much better field of view than traditional cockpit cameras, while still being an in-car view. I hope GT and Forza adopt this too going forward.
Driveclub's approach is a bit different, since the camera is on top of the dashboard, somewhere between it and the window. The instruments aren't visible.Quite a few games have done this, for example Driveclub, DiRT Rally and Sebastien Loeb Evo to name three PS4 options.
Proof again to never ever preorder, this game is rough as hell. I knew there would be problems with it, could see this coming a mile off. That's not very positive. And he certainly has a point. The release of AC is even worse at some points than pCARS.

I'll be giving AC a big miss & stick with PCars, which has it's own problems but I can live them because the grin factor is so high. After numerous patches PCars is in a much better state then on release, perhaps AC might get there too.
It doesn't give me any delight to be writing this, I really wanted AC to shine and wanted to add it to my collection. I hope that those of you who have bought it enjoy the game for the areas it excels, I just can't overlook the issues.
I don't regret my pre-order. It's still a very good experience to take a car to the track despite all the problems.Proof again to never ever preorder, this game is rough as hell. I knew there would be problems with it, could see this coming a mile off.

I've decided some time ago that the 4C will be my first drive. So IK was going to drive the Spec MX5 car as my first car. Now that's DLC I'm stuck making a choice between the Alfa 4C, the 500 Abarth and the Mk1 Escort.
Guess I have until midnight to pick one.

He's playing it on the Xbone (worst performance wise), and without the day one patch neither so keep that in mind.
Hard for me to believe what he says about the AI, as it's very careful and mindful of you on the PC.
It seems like the console builds are very far back compared to PC, i remember seeing so many of these issues or bugs taken out, most blatant being the AI behaviour still using the previous style two lanes system. Few people called it that it would be a rocky start but thats to be expected i guess considering the number of devs they have being so low. The upside is that a lot of the problems are fixed on another platform, its just a matter of integrating it but may not be easy considering they are on that limit of resource allocation. Cant say ive had the performance problems that ACG has had and servers seem to be working fine. As predicted people are bloody insane online though considering the number of online people i think its restricted for whatever reason, i know of at least 100 people that have the game and im sure more than 5 of them would want to try online. That screening process that the two console manufactures use is ridiculous compared to Steam where you dont pay and get instant uploads. Sony and MS seriously need to make it easier for updates to come out if they want more indies on their systems
