Just in case I deleted everything (save and the game) and reinstalled before playing the new version. So far no issues. Also this time my controller settings are saving properly, good to see this fixed.

Also no 2021 liveries.

But thank god for the FOV and View settings!

EDIT: I triggered the download through the PlayStation app.

Yes, I also had to trigger update via PS App. Could not find an obvious way to update on PS5 itself.

No PS5 Upgrade showing up for me here in Germany. I bought the Digital Version a year ago and haven’t ever started it as I was waiting for the NextGen Upgrade.
But unfortunately no upgrade option available

Can't seem to get this. Originally bought PS4 disc version. Struggling to find it in the store and when I do find in on the store it says PS4/ps5 and is looking for €40 even though it should be free

The LOD changes on the other cars happen very close to you and are very apparent. Disappointing.

Just tested this, they do unfortunately. The race started fine though.

So it is literally a D3T update and not the same as the PC version then 🙄

I remember HAVING to run it in 1080 for it to look decent on PS4 and PS5

I just found the pS5 version on the PS App. I chose it and added it to my download queue. I noticed that 2020 GT World Challenge is no longer available in the addons for PS5. When I switch back to the PS4 version it shows up again. Does that mean the 202 GT World Challenge DLC is included with the PS5 upgrade? I thought it was just available on the Day One disc edition. I will take a look a little bit later when I get off of work

But tbh u dont see any visual improvements.
The LOD change is exactly the same as before so trees are still terrible.
No HDR support.... and no AutoHDR (which worked pretty good!) mean overall ot looks worse than before :-(

You have to download the PS5 versions of the DLCs again.

Something feels terribly off with my feedback it wasn’t like this with the PS4 version… my wheel is not hard to turn but extremely sluggish did the settings reset?

Edit… It like I cannot feel what the car is doing I can feel the tires, tire slip, bumps on the track. I don’t feel anything with the car though. The game looks great and sounds even better omg! I’m just having trouble with the car feeling extremely numb.

You can run 30 AIs on Spa so there are 31 cars on track, more than advertised lol The game also seems to "display" the CPU warning from PC when setting 30 but it's bugged - it appears blank. So far it runs well but there is a bit of visible pop-in.

Yes it has, and the lights flash red when ABS kicks in and white when TC kicks in, pretty cool.

The L2 button simulates ABS but the R2 doesn't have resistance when you accelerate.

No HDR 😯 ?! Don’t tell me you’re on PS5, please 🥺

I can't stand this haptic feedback stuff on the PS5 controller (it's already broken one controller - triggers collapsed) so I usually turn this off in games. Funny then that unless I'm looking in the wrong place in the settings you CAN'T switch this off. You can turn down vibration to 0% but haptic feedback remains.

Replays look great. Visuals overall are just great now.

You can’t shift manually while in automatic anymore - you could before.

EDIT: nope, you still can. Had to re-assine the correct buttons.
