I went in via highlighting the PS4 version (but not clicking on it). I scrolled down to add-ons, clicked on one of them and then was given the option of game version (on the three little bars on the right). I then had the PS5 version appear. Man, they could just have it in the ''Upgraded for PS5'' section of the store.

Hope this helps :)
When I was on the PS App I went to the PS4 version and chose selcet edition and the PS5 version showed up. I selected and it was available to download to my PS5. Also you answered my question from earlier. I had noticed that the 2020 GT World Challenge was not available for purchase on the PS5 now. It's included in the upgrade

I don't have the app so I could only do it via the PS5. Sounds like it's easier for those with the app.

Watching Ollie’s stream right now. He said the FFB is off. Can anyone confirm?
Also, did all of our presets transfer over or do I need to take screenshots of everything before I upgrade?
I said this earlier something is really wrong… it’s so sluggish and you cannot feel the car in anyway…. Is anyone playing with a wheel??

Anyone else have their GT4 cars locked when upgraded to PS5? Doesn't seem to allow me to redownload it. Just says it's been purchased and the download box is faded out.

Never mind, worked it out..

I can't stand this haptic feedback stuff on the PS5 controller (it's already broken one controller - triggers collapsed) so I usually turn this off in games. Funny then that unless I'm looking in the wrong place in the settings you CAN'T switch this off. You can turn down vibration to 0% but haptic feedback remains.

GT7 in a week or so - unlucky ACC
The triggers are overrated. I thought they were cool when I first tried Astro’s Playroom but they suck for shooters and racing games.

That's not a bug. That's the new lobbies for the " everyone gets a participation trophy " crowd.
It could be just that they are set up wrong.
The "Official" lobbies seem to have that issue. When I joined a different one ("ACC Hungary" or something, so custom made) the lap counter and lap times worked fine

I just ran 1 hour "24h" of Spa on Series X and the experience overall has been enjoyable. The game ran pretty smoothly with an occasional micro stutter here and there, the AI and graphics were good, but unfortunately after the sunrise, during the latter part of the race the micro stutters became less micro and more frequent - they were quite distracting.

Something feels terribly off with my feedback it wasn’t like this with the PS4 version… my wheel is not hard to turn but extremely sluggish did the settings reset?

Edit… It like I cannot feel what the car is doing I can feel the tires, tire slip, bumps on the track. I don’t feel anything with the car though. The game looks great and sounds even better omg! I’m just having trouble with the car feeling extremely numb.
I had the same issue and found a solution. My settings carried over from the PS4 version, but dynamic damping was changed from 0 to 100. Returning to 0 fixed the numb feeling.

Edit: Actually I think I DID have it at 100 on PS4 version and it worked well. Anyways, changing to 0 for the PS5 version gave good results with a similar feel like I remember (have not played for some time). I'm on a T300 btw.

Grrr I've had the wife trying to download it while i was out but no luck. Came home and still couldn't figure out how to get the PS5 version, then i realised i had to put the PS4 disc in and it gave me the option to download PS5 version :) ah well downloading now.

Glad you got it working. My only issue will be if I get the chance to download it when I get home

Thanks! I'll try that tomorrow, too.
Today my GT DD Pro arrived so at the same time upgrading from ACC PS4 to PS5 I changed from a G29 to that. And in most instances I have to say it felt underwhelming, but this could explain it

I checked the ps4 version on the app and all dlc is gone lol, always a mess this.

That's interesting earlier today I saw all of PS4 DLC was available for purchase but on the pS5 version only the 2020 GT World Challenge was gone
Edit: I just checked the app and now just the PS5 version has the DLC

Same thing on series x for me. FFB settings seem to do nothing at all now and cars feel lifeless with barely any weight to my wheel.

Edit:

I changed dor to max on my wheel and in game. FFB seems to be more normal now. Definitely lighter than before though.

Very disappointed in the game I was disappointed with it on PS4 pro, I upgraded to the free PS five today traded yes the graphics are better but still not at a high level, I also have it on pc and running it on 5700xt and the game look ok But in my opinion it doesn’t compare to Gran Turismo’s graphics yes the physics are better As it is more cater to simulation,

Of course GT looks 10x better than anything out there. This is not the kind of game you judge graphics on. I used to play ACC with a RTX 2060 and a Rift S, and it was a total blurry mess in VR, and I absolutely cherished the experience. Because it's a good game and an excellent sim.

Same for me bro but something still seems off… it’s way better but something feels strange like in the small middle movement i do with the wheel

Anyone else having problems connecting to the multiplayer?
