Sometimes a blank white page loads. So about 10% of the articles I can never read :(
This might be an issue with Cloudflare caching (but the benefits of that outweigh it).

Try a forced refresh (Ctrl+F5). Sometimes deleting the "/" from the end of the URL works, although there's no particular reason it should.

The link should take you to the article, and then the article's comments should bring you back here because this is the comments thread for the article.
I see yeah, i saw 1100 comments link then here i thought there were only a few, thinking there must be another thread then. I don't know, too sleepy for sure sorry about that..
Edit: well also your post makes it seem like there is a separate thread for this news of a late 1.8 update and dlc release.
Maybe there is, but this is the general ps5 acc version thread, hence the confusion, anyways,
Cheers..

I've been trying that forced refresh, but it's working now. Did you take the '/' out? I believe it used to be there and thinking more about it now, that could cause that as it's trying to load something in another directory. If I see the '/' I'll remove it later. Thanks buddy!

It sounds like it's an approximation of the pc version if they have to tinker with each car, each curve, etc. To make it as similar but with different coding to the details even, not just a port compatibilty adjustment.

Not too ideal especially its done from outside devs.
Better than nothing i guess , but won't be a kunos game 100% then.
And takes long.

Why is it over 1000 comments on this article? What's the point of that kind of system? People want to chat about the news in the article. Not an article that is a year old or more.

Can... you not do that for some reason?
It's like this. Monday is here, and I want to check what the daily races are. I get on to gtplanet finding out you have not published news about it yet (that's another problem). Than I'm switching to the forums, cause people here are writing about it way before you publish the article. When I go into to the thread about daily races, and it's several thousand pages, so I need to go to the last one. This isn't that great problem. I guess the answear to the problem is you getting up early on Mondays, screen shot the races, and publish it. About the issue about having old comments from old articles showing on new articles? Why would you do that? It looks like chaos, and it's not that motivating to find the comments that relates to the article published through thousands of comments. I don't know why you have this system. But if you look at how Facebook, and Instagram does, why not start do it like that? Why would someone look for the comments from a year old post, when you're interested in the post that you clicked on right now, and you're obviously interested in.

I don't know what GT7 Daily Races have to do with Assetto Corsa Competizione, but for all that... bloviating, the question remains.

If you read the article and click on "comments" are you somehow prevented from commenting on the article in the attached comments thread?

As you've commented twice now, albeit on some odd tangent, I assume not... which poses the question of why you're acting like you have a problem.

Edit: Oh, it's trolling. Gotcha.

I was excited to at least read last night about the timeline for 1.8 and DLC. For about 7 seconds. Then I realized there is about, oh, a 0.0 percent chance it won't be a complete mess once it does release, if everything up till now is anything to go by. So now still 3+ months left to wait for 1.8, and then another who knows how many months to half-ass patch all the bugs and glitches it will have. If we're really lucky, maybe this game will be the epic game it should be by ... next June? Hope I'm wrong, but the track record so far inspires no confidence this is going to turn out well LOL

Hopefully your wrong and 1.8 will be good
I hope so, too. But realistically, what are the chances this comes out well from the jump? I really want it to be that way, but there's literally no evidence these people are capable of hitting the mark at launch. Like, ever.
I'm generally a laid back guy when it comes to these games, because no matter what, they are always still just GAMES and not real life. But I'm in a pretty sour mood about it all at the moment. Gran Turismo keeps bricking its game, these ACC releases are always a disaster ... Looking objectively at this entire games industry, it's criminal how things are done. Releasing half-baked, incomplete and in some cases broken products, with no recourse for customers who get taken on the ride. Imagine if you paid to see a movie, and then they screened a rough cut of it and told you, oops, sorry, we'll finalize it eventually at some point and then you can see it again. It's laughable.

I will probably just avoid buying any Assetto Corsa Games on console in the future, they are amazing games on PC but console is an afterthought, nice to see that the update is finally coming though

For me personally as a console peasant ACC is the only racing game I enjoy racing the most and gives me impression if I was inside the race car, others just don’t give me as much joy, Dirt2 on occasion. So I’m eagerly waiting 1.8 update regardless if its as cool as PC version or not, still something to look forward to, otherwise we are not spoilt for choice for sims.
