Kudos always does 3-4 small updates after anything major. They are a small studio so don't assume amazing Q&A capabilities. Sometimes bug fixing what the players find is the only way.Wait, there's another update? I just deleted the game day before yesterday
Nope. I don't understand why these aren't available for console players. Would give the game more variety and everyone loves a good leaderboard competition..So no fix for the missing special events then.
Are you on thrustmaster steering wheel?Still crashes on Series X for me at random.
Logitech DD wheel, it seemed to happen less often before in practice mode, and I think the 1.9 update has made it less often overall in any mode but just happens out of nowhere, can be playing for quite a while, not changing any settings as it otherwise feels great. Are you on thrustmaster steering wheel?
Is your crash happening after adjusting wheel when in a race or practice session?

Console still has no UDP output which would be a relatively easy fix and is a considerable loss compared to PC versionThink it’s safe to say with this patch 1.9 is the best update so far.
People who have played on both pc and console are also reporting that both versions are all but identical now.
Fair enough, perhaps it's all in my head!Personally I’ve got both the PS5 and XSX versions (long story) and I don’t think there’s any difference at all. Both have smooth enough frame rates finally with occasional micro-stutters, graphically I think they’re identical and they both handle the same. I noticed a few more graphical issues with weird clouds in the XSX version when you have dynamic weather on.
I would say though that on controller the PS5 version wins for me simply because the controller is so much better with the feel of it and the adaptive triggers (I’m sure some people still prefer the Xbox pad though), but on wheel there’s no difference at all.
Yeah, it's a shame that ACC doesn't support the impulse triggers on the Xbox Controller: they do some very useful things in Forza.Personally I’ve got both the PS5 and XSX versions (long story) and I don’t think there’s any difference at all. When you license a sports league, which is effectively what the SRO series is, you generally have to portray the teams and their sponsors/partners accurately. If there was an NBA arena named the Sony PS5 Center, the xbox version of NBA 2K would still have to call it that, for example. While I'm still waiting for Forza Motorsport 8, I took advantage of ACC being on sale on the Microsoft Store and decided to give it a try on my Xbox Series X. Unfortunately, I don't have a wheel and pedal setup on my possession, so I'm just only on a controller right now.
From what I observed on the game, the physics actually run pretty good and is actually very forgiving for players of all abilities, after originally thinking that it would be a nightmare on a controller, but the cars feel somewhat understeery, and the user interface, especially on the main menu, is confusing as hell.
Added bonus: there are some race cars with Gran Turismo logos (e.g. the Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3, both 2015 and 2018, as well as the Lexus RC F GT3), and they're actually present even on the Xbox Series versions.

argh, I bought a pack 2 weeks ago at full priceJust a heads-up, for Xbox players, that most of the packs are up to 60% off right now at the store, including the American Track Pack and the Challengers Pack.
2023 GT World Challenge Pack not included, though, so don't get your hopes high.
Thank you for your sacrifice.argh, I bought a pack 2 weeks ago at full price
