Are you on thrustmaster steering wheel?
Is your crash happening after adjusting wheel when in a race or practice session?
Logitech DD wheel, it seemed to happen less often before in practice mode, and I think the 1.9 update has made it less often overall in any mode but just happens out of nowhere, can be playing for quite a while, not changing any settings as it otherwise feels great.

Tried turning trueforce off?

Just played ACC with a wheel (G29) for the first time and….damn, that’ll take some getting used to. On default settings I couldn’t understand why on earth the wheel was shaking so much even in a straight line but after following an online tutorial I’ve managed to tone that down slightly. Managed to complete a couple of fairly slow, shaky laps of Brands Hatch which is a start at least. I’m hoping that I fall in love with playing driving games “properly” for the first time ever but I did have a wheel way back in the past and just couldn’t get away with it (I’m talking PS1 days) because my attention span isn’t th

Today I've been fortunate enough to try the PS5 and XsX versions side by side.
With the same settings in the options and on the Fanatec CSL Elite wheelbase I preferred the Xbox version to drive.
There did seem to be more activity on the Xbox as well, on the multiplayer.

My only issue now is the Fanatec compatibility on the Xbox, I'd go Absolutely Nuts if I could fully use my McLaren GT3 wheel

Personally I’ve got both the PS5 and XSX versions (long story) and I don’t think there’s any difference at all. Both have smooth enough frame rates finally with occasional micro-stutters, graphically I think they’re identical and they both handle the same. I noticed a few more graphical issues with weird clouds in the XSX version when you have dynamic weather on.

I would say though that on controller the PS5 version wins for me simply because the controller is so much better with the feel of it and the adaptive triggers (I’m sure some people still prefer the Xbox pad though), but on wheel there’s no difference at all.

Fair enough, perhaps it's all in my head!

Yeah, it's a shame that ACC doesn't support the impulse triggers on the Xbox Controller: they do some very useful things in Forza.

While I'm still waiting for Forza Motorsport 8, I took advantage of ACC being on sale on the Microsoft Store and decided to give it a try on my Xbox Series X. Unfortunately, I don't have a wheel and pedal setup on my possession, so I'm just only on a controller right now.

From what I observed on the game, the physics actually run pretty good and is actually very forgiving for players of all abilities, after originally thinking that it would be a nightmare on a controller, but the cars feel somewhat understeery, and the user interface, especially on the main menu, is confusing as hell.

Added bonus: there are some race cars with Gran Turismo logos (e.g. the Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3, both 2015 and 2018, as well as the Lexus RC F GT3), and they're actually present even on the Xbox Series versions.

When you license a sports league, which is effectively what the SRO series is, you generally have to portray the teams and their sponsors/partners accurately. If there was an NBA arena named the Sony PS5 Center, the xbox version of NBA 2K would still have to call it that, for example.

Thanks a lot, I'll try them tomorrow!

Just went back to acc since the last minor patches and tried a few laps with the gt4 gran turismo.

The ffb on the g29 is really harsher, not smooth like before.
Tried a few changes but hard for now to pin point a good set of ffb settings to get back the smooth natural feel.

Anyone have any suggestions on that?
Maybe Frank you have still the same wheel as mine? And on ps5..

Just a heads-up, for Xbox players, that most of the packs are up to 60% off right now at the store, including the American Track Pack and the Challengers Pack.

2023 GT World Challenge Pack not included, though, so don't get your hopes high. ;)

argh, I bought a pack 2 weeks ago at full price :D

Thanks for the heads up though, will have a look

Don't worry, I'm an idiot. I own ACC and all DLC packs on the PC through steam sales, but decided to buy it on Xbox as well for times I just want to play on the couch.

I currently own the GT4, International tracks and World GT Challenge 2020 DLCs on Xbox but getting the US and British track packs is still tempting :D
