I kept hearing that gt3 cars and curbs dont mix. Although when I watch them they are banging those curbs where ever they can. And still I've heard the curbs are deadly.
So when I booted the game up for the first time I drove on call the curbs at monza and zolder. Those high curbs and sausages are deadly and nasa approved.

Regular kerbs are not a problem but sausage kerbs are, as they should be

You get it with both versions although some people have commented they didn't get it with their physical copy because of the seller.

Also, the DLC is already out so you get access straightaway.

My question is very similar bought on day release physical copy didn't pre order so didn't get the dlc and isn't available on ps store how do I get it? Can only buy the whole game and dlc on pn store not spilt? Only need the dlc?

Quick question about the Intercontinental GT DLC that's probably answered somewhere:

If you get the digital version for PS4 you get access to this DLC when it's released. Can you only get it if you buy the digital version, or can you buy the physical version and get it too?

You need to search for it in the ps store. It wont show up anywhere

I played a bit more yesterday, trying the Nissan on Nurburbring GP, with the joypad.

Despite its flaws (poor/miserable frame rate and stuttering), the game has the typical strengths of Kunos games, so it manages to provide a good feeling of the car even using the pad.

Kunos are very good with this (AC was the same), and in their games is easy to feel the difference between cruising and driving on the edge, even with a pad.

I believe this feeling is provided by a good mix of amazing physics (well, they are renowned for that), excellent sound and also a very good way of reproducing all shaking and bumping of a car when it goes over the tracks' limits.

I found myself comfortable in lowering down the steer gamma to 2.2/2.3 for a less twitchy and more consistent driving.
I am now in the office and cannot check the other settings, but I would like to share with other users their settings, so we can help each other with controller setups.

Bottom line, I confirm this game has a very good base.
It is very much of a shame that it runs so poorly on the XOne X, even rotating the car in the menus looks like a slowdown motion.

If it was 60fps smooth without stuttering, it could have probably been a milestone in the genre.

It almost pushes me to buy a good pc for playing this one and AMS 2 at decent frame rate.
Questions for PC users...

First question: what is the minimum PC setup for running ACC and AMS at least 60fps solid, good resolution (1080p/1440p at least) and max settings?

Second question: on PC are they both playable and most importantly enjoyable (meaning, the good sim viber is replicated) with a pad?

Yes!! True I prefer offline and learn my race craft good job by Kunos!! The physics blew off GTS please PD make GT7 physics and AI like ACC!!

Thank you MarcoM for the link, and yes everyone should log there so we can let them know our voice, especially on frame rate and stuttering.

I have logged on Graphics, reporting for OneX:
- Poor frame rate
- Stuttering

And asking them to consider introducing an option for prioritizing framerate (1080p/60fps on OneX).

Isn’t it amazing how we have been complaining about frame rate, and rightfully so, but this video looks freaking amazing?

I did six 15 minute races today and only had one moment in one race where it was a little stuttering, almost frozen for a split second and that was my only problem all day.

add to that, that I used to get nauseous and I could never do more than 2 10 minute sessions and now I can go a few hours with no problems after I did the database refresh.

I did the database rebuild as well (it has been my intention to do it for some time now, anyway), but I can't say that I noticed any difference at all. In fact, some replays looked worse for some reason.

What I will say, though, is that you do get used to the framerate issues, while you're deep into driving. You simply do.

Of course, not everyone is willing to stick to it, which I understand. But it's a shame, as they're missing out on what I reckon is the greatest driving experience on consoles.

The DLC is not currently available separately, it will be released later in the summer as a standalone.

Did the retailer say on the description of the game that it included the intercontinental DLC? If so, email or call them and ask them to provide you the code. When i looked, there was not a separate download, the only option was the full game including the DLC, instead you just need a code to unlock it (go to redeem code in the ps store).
i guess when the 2 week period is over, they'll have to add the DLC as a separate purchase but i think it'll be like £12 or something.
Can you return the disc and buy off PS store before the 2 week offer expires?

How do you gain Pace (PC)-rating? I’ve done 3/4 of the available special events and my PC is still 0. Sure, I’m not the fastest around but a 0 seems excessive

Pace is only gained from doing the monthly special events, do a few of those and depending on your results it will award you a Pace value.

IS this AI race? I was wondering is the AI is picking up custom liveries when i choose "one make race" and selected cars have only one livery. I wanted to make 911 GT3 Cup race today and it has only one livery.

That's against the AI, yes.
And correct, it automatically uses custom liveries for the opponents.

I'll add that in this case, mine was using my own custom livery, but I'm guessing that if I didn't have any the game would just thrown a random one for me as well.

Couple of things - one I assume you are connected to internet. Two are you sure you did a valid lap

Once you do a valid lap it shows where you are overall along with place above and below you below the top ten leaderboard

i have done all of them with mixed results (some even with some spin offs on HotStints) and have Pace at 74.

I guess I just don’t know how to do them right. The laptimes are showing in my driver profile, so I know I’m not going crazy, but tough luck I guess.

I haven’t read the whole thread but I’m assuming you’ve opened the game and used it? If not and it’s still sealed you should be able to return it if it’s only been a week.

I actually dont like GTS controller implementation, though that could just be down to the physics.

Just take it back and say you finally got to try it at the weekend and the fps issues gives you eyestrain and makes you nauseous. Then buy it digital, you have one week to claim the feee DLC, and what great DLC it is too. Tell them you'll happily exchange the game for PSN vouchers.

There was a 450 mb update yesterday on PC too. No doubt to prepare for the next update. That must be the same for console too. Not for the same update though obviously.

In the special events I have only done Silverstone, which it gave me an 86 rating. Unless you do get ratings in the general hotlap part of the game in which case I have done a couple of those.

In the game - try and select the Bathurst track (it is part of the first DLC). It will then take you to the right place in the store to buy it.

If I had the skills, I'd attempt to make a mod of Paul Ricard circuit and put grass and gravel and verges round the track instead of nasty blue lines.

But the track would still be trash
