I just noticed this post, and posted something similar just seconds ago, as I can’t see it on my Canadian ps store yet...
Looks like it’s back to pc2 for now...

I know you can preorder the physical copy but not the digital one yet. I’m in the States and can’t see it on the store either.
Maybe when it gets closer they’ll put it on the store?

So will this be the same version as the one on PC? Or does this one have to be gimped to run on old consoles?

If it’s the latter then I’d rather just wait until ps5. They should definitely look into cross platform compatibility since this just such a niche genre.

Currently going through multiple events in the original AC on my PS4 and I found out that several special events, named, Ultimate Évent X, have up to 23 AI cars, so a field of 24 cars! This is on their own engine.

Gives hope for ACC! A 20+ gridsize would be a nice surprise.

I wish we could count on that but PC2 can have up to 32 AI on track. Bit online race is only 18.
I do some AI racing we maximum cars but I have mandatory pit the game glitches like made when cars pit

On my base ps4 these specific events have framerate issues. 12 cars is ideal

If you have the Ultimate Édition, try special event #150. It's the GT-R at Monza. Runs perfectly smooth with 24 cars

I'm really looking forward to this on my PS4 Pro. The tracklist with the DLC is pretty much perfection. PCars 2 may have a bigger list, but this one has absolutely no duds and all lazer scanned.

Strangely enought I do not have that event on my roster. But I did try the event with the concept Maserati at Silverstone with 21 cars. Indeed smooth enough. There's hope!

Weird. I'm not having slow down with 32 cars in track. Done, Watkins Glen with vintage a, b, C touring cars. GTO, Lm900, vintage Prototype a/b. All looks gravy on my normal PS4.

This is so great that it not only has full GT3 line-up from 2 seasons but also 911 GT3 Cup and Huracan Supertrofeo. I really want this game right now. I hope it won't be delayed too much.

What I'm looking forward the most, however, is trying out the 7 new tracks (in relation to AC).

No - next step up from AC1. Feels a lot more natural to me. Real life GT3 drivers have complimented it on how accurate it is. Every car drives and handles differently, Evo and non-Evo versions included.

Honestly I see AC competizione has some old gt3 cars like the gallardo and the jaguar.

I really do hope they add more old gt3 cars like the Ferrari 458 GT3, BMW Z4 GT3, Mosler, Mercedes Benz SLS AMG GT3, Mclaren Mp412C GT3 and various others.

Since GT4 is gonna be dlc I hope they can bring in GTE/LM/GT2 and FIA GT1 that would be awesome!!

Yes, a big step up IMO as well.
A central feature in the physics department was the 5 point tyre model introduced in july last year, which made the curb handling much better (no more death curbs). The curb handling was further improved just last week actually, when Aris said they discovered "something fishy" with the bumpstop behaviour while working on the GT4 cars. In the end they rewrote the whole bumpstop calculation (and introduced helper springs simulation), which resulted in even better and more realistic curb behaviour. In particular the BMW and Bentleys now handle the curbs like champs, but all cars are improved in that regard.

To be honest i believe there is great chance the game will be delayed. There is not much time left and we even didn't see console gameplay.

You can pre-order the disc version at the local game shop over here, but when I ask him about the digital version he said it would be on the PlayStation store in the next couple of weeks. We just have to wait & see if he is right or not.
