We must do a race someday, then. Me in the GTB and you in the F40. Quite the sight...
Definitely. If I last until Aremberg without spinning out the F40, I would count it as a win .

Don't let it bother you. I have raced for ages with TC and ABS on, and I still race the AI in GT3 cars with those aids on, factory that is. In real GT3 they use that too, at least ABS as I understand it, so why not.We must do a race someday, then. Me in the GTB and you in the F40. Quite the sight... True. And I find it quite enjoyable with TC=1, but still... It bothers me.

I posted this yesterday in the other thread, but probably better here since the other one moves fast...Sorry if this was asked before, but the Prestige Pack cars like the Nismo GTR, M4 etc. they re not included when you buy AC digital in the PSN store?
I Pre-Ordered AC digital and I got only 3 Cars, 488, R8, Vette. Or will the Prestige car pack be later available as free for pre-order buyers?
Interesting, thank you. Although I'm not so sure that's the case with the PS4 version.

It's easy to leave factory setting enabled and map TC+, TC-, ABS+, ABS- to buttons on the wheel, of course.Yeah, after 5-6 years of racing in Gran Turismo where "no aids" was the way to go it took me a while to accept the notion of using them. But now it's all about realism so I drive the car with whatever aids it would use in real-life, use the "factory" preset. Well, for the most part. In something like the GT86 I will turn TC off because that's probably what I'd do in that real car at a track day. But in hyper cars or GT3 cars I leave them on because those cars are actually designed to be driven with those aids, but I'll usually turn it down a bit so it's not too intrusive.

Exactly my thoughts. In something like the GT86 I will turn TC off because that's probably what I'd do in that real car at a track day.
So what changed from the previous countdowns, 25th it is!But then the numbers are all over the place because "on my platform it probably will be on a Wednesday" and "in my country it's already tomorrow"...
If i was you id put the panamera before the 917 and moby dick, those cars arent gonna turn too well so you might want to get used to it, the weight will help you extend your braking lines as well. To be honest though ill drive the panamera first so i can giggle at the spoiler animation.I know no one cares, but here's the order in which I'll be trying out the Porsches:
911 Carrera S
911 Carrera RSR 3.0 1974
918 Spyder
718 Cayman S
Cayman GT4 Clubsport
935 Moby Dick
917/30
Panamera G2
Now that you mention it, the Panamera is the most "Moby Dick" of them all.If i was you id put the panamera before the 917 and moby dick, those cars arent gonna turn too well so you might want to get used to it, the weight will help you extend your braking lines as well. To be honest though ill drive the panamera first so i can giggle at the spoiler animation.

As I always did with PCars DLC, I will start with the car I am least interested in by looking at the available liveries then have 3 quick laps at a certain circuit followed by a 1 lap replay.
I have yet to finalise my Porsche Pack I order but the 935 Moby Dick and 917/30 with be the penultimate and last cars respectively.
Roll on the trailer!
Because the 935 itself is one of the most successful race cars ever?Alright...I've been trying to keep my mouth shut, but I just gotta ask.
Why do so many people get so excited about the Porsche 935/78 Moby Dick? This car didn't have a successful racing history. Is it the wild looks of the race car? I know it's got gobs of horsepower, so it's freakin' fast...but I've never truly understood the fawning all over this race car.
Is it the 25th yet?
Good try. But you didn't come even remotely close to addressing my question. You obviously didn't read my OP correctly.Because the 935 itself is one of the most successful race cars ever?
Doesnt matter how successful it was, who cares about that when its group 5 and its a Porsche, it wins even if it never raced. People ask for the 917/20 which ran a single race. Its one of those rare moments of race history where you have to seriously question how a human could have done such a thing so it got immortalised, in a field of crazy nutcases this was the nuttest of them all.Good try. Do you think maybe it was just too powerful? I'm not very knowledgeable about Group 5 racing, except that they had probably the wildest looking cars ever. I know a bit about the Porsche 935 history. A truly remarkable car in various configurations. It seems, however, that everybody always goes crazy for the 935/78, the Moby Dick. I guess I can see what you're saying. It is a wild looking 935 variant, no doubt!Doesnt matter how successful it was, who cares about that when its group 5 and its a Porsche, it wins even if it never raced. Yes. As was the Lancia Beta Montecarlo and the Ferrari 365 which was imsa as well as G5. It was eventually replaced by Group B until that disappeared from sports car racing in favour of Group C and C2.Do you think maybe it was just too powerful? EDIT: Zakspeed Ford Capri was Group 5, right?
