Does anyone has a good setup for the SF-15T? Last time i played AC, I was humiliated (With all assists off) by the AI at Spa  :biggrinsvg:

Okay since it was announced i've always been doubtfull about the Praga and now that i've driven it...
It's boring and slow please explain the hype it had since i do not understand.
It's not a famous car produce either

I was also doubtful about the Praga but actually I've found it quite enjoyable, not in the same way that a car like the Maserati 250F could be considered enjoyable but I had a lot of fun throwing it in to corners at speeds I could never imagine and making it out the other side. I found Suzuka to be one track where it really shines if you have access to mods, otherwise Zandvoort also matches this car quite well.

Sorry if this was asked before, but the Prestige Pack cars like the Nismo GTR, M4 etc. they re not included when you buy AC digital in the PSN store?

I Pre-Ordered AC digital and I got only 3 Cars, 488, R8, Vette. Or will the Prestige car pack be later available as free for pre-order buyers?

This has been discussed all over the place and answers are still vague. The latest info from today Kunos Facebook is that they are aware that people who were unable to buy the prestige edition (which was physical disc and certain countries only) want to buy those 6 cars as DLC, but they don't have a concrete date for us at this time.

The Season Pass content is already clear, Red Pack, Japanese Pack and 3 Porsche Packs plus a PS4 theme. The prestige cars won't be in there (logical since that wouldn't be fair to those who already paid extra for the prestige edition of the game).

The fact that PSN digital version of the prestige edition was never made available is the annoying thing here, I think we all agree.

This has been updated (thanks @EmArA) so I'll share my thoughts on the new metal.

Praga R1: I found it quite "eh". It behaves half like a formula, half like a LMP. It's quite slow, very predictable. Steering is nice and feelsome. But nothing great.

Ferrari 488gtb: this may be the first modern Ferrari that I enjoy a lot. Loads of power and never ending torque. Very easy to catch any right foot flamboyance. That car is fantastic. Love it.

Ferrari FXXK: For something that has 1030hp it's so easy to drive, you feel every inch of aero that the car provides. Some cars have some grip, this thing has Lots of grip, and then some more. Careful with the right foot though, it's still a 1030hp car.

Audi S1: Fun little pocket rocket. 4WD allows you to have Lots of lift off oversteer fun, toss the car like a maniac around a corner and see if it comes out straight on the other, what a joyful thing.

Thought I'd chip in with my quick review too:

Praga R1: Very well sorted chassis. But it can easily handle twice the power. To me it's like the GP3 equivalent to an LMP1. Good training car I suppose, but I like cars that bite back a bit more. Looks and sounds great from chase cam though.

Ferrari 488: First thing I noticed is the sound is muted compared to 458. Unlike the 488 GTB it doesn't have BOV sounds :grumpy: Driving wise, it's pretty much a slightly faster 458.

FXXK: Crazy noise. Crazy speed. Crazy grip. It's the LaFerrari turned up to 11. I'm not expecting anything less though. Tested it around Monza and I'm basically using F1 car lines and brake points. What I'm not impressed at is the KERS battery capacity. After just 1 lap it's completely gone  Kinda useless for long races then.

Audi S1: Not really my kind of car this. Pretty stable and grippy. And, um, not much else to say. It's free though so I can't exactly complain.

Monza Banking: Oh yessss!!! Finally we have this bad boy in AC. Kunos says it's laser scanned. Well I think they actually lased scanned to current surface that is literally falling apart because it is BUMPY AS HELL  I drove the Lotus 49 and the suspension is bouncing like crazy. Scary as 🤬 even in a game. I can't even begin to imagine what is must be like in real life back then. Awesome track, glad to have it official in AC 👍

So far I've driven two cars, the Praga R1 and the Ferrari 488 GTB.

Praga R1: I'd go as far to say it's actually too easy to drive, much like LeGeNd-1 in the previous post, I think it could do with more power as it doesn't bite back enough.

Ferrari 488: I've tested many cars around Magione now (11:30AM, mid-clear, 17 degrees, slow surface), and take note of the Ferrari 488's time.

It's ever so slightly slower than the Gallardo! I don't know if I'm missing something, or maybe I wasn't on the money, but I just couldn't get much out of the 488. It has amazing straight line speed (reaching nearly 240KM/H on the back straight! For reference, the LaFerrari reaches 260), but the brakes felt lacking, they would lock at around 75% use, which is earlier than other cars, and the power was touchy. I also drove at Mugello, and the car was better suited for this.

And yes, I got the Levante S around faster than the R34. Blame the R34 for making an awful screeching noise and making me stop after only three laps.

Any word on when the the Japanese and Red packs are going to be available for consoles? Also, Kunos mentioned Black Cat County and the Levante S in a free update. Any indication of when?

Personally I think that those packs should have been included in the console versions already but I'll probably buy the RedPack because of the old Maserati's.

They are included in the season pass for the three Porsche packs.

This happened to me with the Gallardo and the Aventador but after disabling all the driving aid i was 5-6 second faster

Most likely it's because the 4WD system making the Gallardo easier to drive for us non-aliens. Magione is a very stop start track with lots of low speed acceleration points, making the gap between MR and 4WD even bigger. At Mugello which is a much more sweeping track the difference should favour the Ferrari.

Also, I use factory setting for ABS so I don't have locked brake problems. With these modern day supercars with their electronic gizmos the ABS is designed to optimise the brake performance, not just for safety. So I find it best to leave it on. No shame in using it 👍

If you watch the stream from yesterday Stefano kinda touches on this. They have around 30 3D modelers contracted to make these cars and they were counting on the revenue from the DLC packs to pay these modelers for their work. Giving them away for free would have done away with the money they were counting on to pay the modelers with. And, as has been stated before, both packs were to be DLC after the initially planned May launch, so if the game had come out when planned you would have been paying for them anyway. It's a bit unreasonable to expect them to give up all that revenue just because the game was delayed a couple months.

Thanks for the answer BrandonW77 . I heard him talking about that in the stream. It clarifies the why but I still don't completely agree with it because all the content is ready and they should have shipped AC with the current content on PC for consoles. If AC takes off on consoles they get their revenues straight out of the Porsche DLC because that one will go as a rocket. Maybe it was also part of the publishers choice to do it like this, I don't know.

The way the content is structured on de console version for now feels a bit like a cashgrab on the dlc part even if that may not be the case, it feels like that.

Yeah, if you look at it from the "jilted" consumer point of view it could feel like that. If you look at it from a business point of view it makes perfect sense why they aren't giving them away for free. And for sure the publisher likely had a big say in this decision (it's SOP for new console games anymore). They were nice enough to include the two packs in the Porsche season pass though, an option the PC crowd is not getting, so at least they threw some kind of bone.

How are you guys driving the GTB, traction control wise?

I have to admit I'm all over the place with it set to Off. Hell, even the F40 was easier for me to get to grips with.

Every single thing off, except ABS which is set to Factory. The turbo boost appears a bit earlier than the F40 so you have to hold off the right foot a bit, but it's way more linear thant the savagery of the F40. Also the GTB it's more controllable on the limit of grip than the F40. And I can't drive the F40. Really.

Remember, these super cars are generally designed to be driven with electronic aids on, so if you turn them off you're going to have your hands full and will need to channel your inner Ken Block.

We must do a race someday, then. Me in the GTB and you in the F40. Quite the sight...

True. And I find it quite enjoyable with TC=1, but still... It bothers me. :D
