Having driven around Brands yesterday, I can't wait for Dream Pack 3!

Paddock Hill bend is ridiculous as it looks. GT6 physics don't do it justice.
Have you driven on the Brands Hatch available from Race Department? I expect the official Brands Hatch to be much better, but I love this track so much (from GT6) that I had to install this free modded version. You are extremely fortunate to be able to drive the track for real.

It's ok. There's a lot of things wrong with it e.g. undulations, the camber and the blindness of some of the apexes but it's sort of what you would expect from a mod.

After driving AC laser scanned tracks and driven around Brands and Silverstone, I don't think I can ever drive poorly modeled tracks again. Tracks like Silverstone in pCars are awful - if I went back to pCars I would only be able to drive a handful. AC has spoiled me. :D

AC seems to go on sale every time there's a bigger Steam sale, so it's almost guaranteed that there will be a deal during Steam's holiday sale.

Is there any chance of AC going on sale again soon? I missed out last time.
God bless you for having the will power to hold out. I was told that AC was going on sale in 1 week, but I couldn't wait (back in October). I had been waiting weeks for my laptop to arrive, which I specifically bought to play AC, and the day that it did I installed Steam and AC. My only other driving/racing outlet up until that point was GT6, which I loved, but once I experienced Assetto Corsa for an afternoon there was no going back.

To those who believe that the porting of Assetto Corsa on console can ruin the "magic" of the PC version I'm glad to dedicate this (PC) screenshot that shows how the development on PS4 and XB1 has brought new and improved reflections and FXAA on the PC build. Incoming on Steam by 12.15.2015.

Funny enough, it looks rather close to my project Carmen mod.
They already warned us, that the old filters will not work properly anymore.
I'll probably do my usual complete overkill routine and reinstall the whole thing after deleting the folder under My Documents.
You know, just to be sure. :)

8.99USD on steam.

Search for Dream Pack 3. It is not available on the steam Assetto Corse main page (in Canada).

Edit : Yes it is :)

Worth noting here: if you are running custom post processing filters, they are now broken. Go back to default in game filters (which are totally changed)
Wonder if i will still need the natural graphics mod, no chance to play now so please post your 1.4 impressions gentlemen! Especially interested in the updated look here.

They won't work anymore as per the official forum.

I personally find the Default filter to be incredibly close to the Natural Graphics mod, I definitely won't be downloaded any graphics mod.

No i meant in the future when the creator updates it. Played some AC this morning and even with that mod enabled the surroundings under cloudy conditions looked very dull, so i hope the new look is actually improving that and gives more depth and contrast.

The Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera S3 has 1200bhp at 100% boost. Makes for a fun drive on street tyres and with traction control off. And by fun, I mean absolutely terrifying.

Not a fan of the new fog weathers though. They feel more like there's some sort of blinding white holy light in front of you instead of fog.

Anyone noticed a sizeable performance hit after the update? Used to race full grids at 3325x1871 resolution at mostly maxed settings with some head room to spare, now I'm barely able to keep 60fps at 2880x1620 with the same settings.

I feel like i have more FPS.. O.o

The 650S understeers like a pig. Holy Crap.

It does? It drives like an absolute dream IMO, it's the AMG GT3 I have a slight problem with; the front end is a little too heavy and as a result I'm just losing the car going into specific corners because it wants to headbutt the rumble strips.
