not that i heard, but cars like mclaren p1 gtr, mclaren 650s, audi tt rs, audi r18 lmp1, toyota lmp1, bmw m6 gt3, lotus 311, and others were mentioned. koenigsegg stopped relying to their license inquiries. aston martin wouldnt get a good deal with them. no plans at all for bugatti or le mans to be added. that is just the stuf i can remember, marco was rattling off a ton of car info in the last like 45 mins or so.

anyone see stefanos stream today? someone asked about future tracks and he said the obv silverstone classic. however, when he later got marco on, marco said another new track is expected to come as they are close to a license deal. he said he couldnt say the track, but in a recent poll he made, lots of people will be happy. does anyone know where this poll is located

- A new modern track license is close, and it was one of the very popular ones on the user poll on the AC forums from a few days ago. However, it's not LeMans or Suzuka. My best guess is Laguna Seca since it was highest on the poll and Kunos mentioned they wanted to do an American track. If it's not Laguna, Bathurst was next most popular. this is from

yeah, people in the stream immediately said bathurst. i remember a while ago seeing bathurst as being one of th most popular on a very old poll. i like bathurst a lot, but i would prefer laguna seca as i love the flow of the track. either of those would be a win for me. they said it is due out by the end of 2016.

NICE, I like both so..WIN WIN WIN..they broke my heart when he said no la sarthe...

la sarthe would be great, but i understand their logic behind it. it would be pretty bland to not be able to night race there. 2 more you could probably expect not to see are - seabring for the same reason of night time conditions, and suzuka because they want way too much money for the license and they dont want to do what pcars did and just put a knock-off version for the sake of having it. which is great because i hate knock-off versions and/or fake tracks like sakkhito in pcars.

I cho cho choose this as the replacement......Potrero de los Funes Circuit

Bathurst and Oulton Park Int are the 2 tracks I'll miss most from pCARS so hopefully it's Bathurst. Never been a big fan of Laguna Seca. Would rather have Road Atlanta.
laser scanned bathurst would be bloody insane, how will they record the big dipper without their laser scanner tipping over.

@damadmoneyman Potrero de los Funes would be a beautiful addition, especially with the MC12 GT1 on the way, but I think the possibility of it appearing is extremely low. Marco was saying circuits which are not well known will sell less, which makes sense, and are therefore less likely to make the cut. Portimao is an option according to him.

I think Circuit of the Americas is a decent bet for the new deal they could announce soon as it is hugely well known and sought-after by players.

I'm sure he said it was a European track though. :odd:

I haven't watched the stream but they had previously suggested that an American track was likely coming soon. On the official forums the speculation seems to be pretty solidly on Laguna Seca since it was high on the poll/wishlist.

Algarve or cota is good news, more tracks are always welcomed

Oh ok, I missed that. In that case... Portimao? Magny Cours?

I would love to see Hungaroring. Love that place.

No. No. I'm saying I thought that's what he said. I'm not saying it is what he said. I was just remembering what I thought I heard after watching the Spa 24 hours. All if it. ...

There's something wrong with the mod Portimão. Cars seem to be more understeery than they should. Anyway I would love a laser scanned Portimão, the track is so charismatic.

you must be loving life, first ronaldo wins the champions league and likely balon de oro, portugal wins the euro cup, andre gomes get signed to barcelona and now algarve likely will be in assetto corsa...WINNING

There has not been any official mention of Portimao coming to AC. I never knew anything about that track until I saw the Chris Harris video of the Holy Trinity tearing up Algarve International. My God, what an awesome video...

Anyway, Tiago Lima's circuit seems to be really, really accurate in layout - except for a couple of elevation changes. I might be totally wrong, but there are a couple of spots that I think Tiago's layout exaggerates the declines/inclines. A laser scanned Portimao would be awesome. In the meantime, it remains my favorite track even as a mod.

post 5530.....there was mention from marco m so there is a possibility...

I think that was mis-quoted. What I read from the stream was Marco saying it was possible, but then said they want to stick to well-known circuits for DLC's because they will sell better, and Algarve/Portimao isn't very well-known.
