Looks more like this one I think, with the yellow on the back like in the blurry picture. Is this a race prepped car or a track based street car? Hopefully it's race based since the only other modern race car in that photo is the 919 (as far as I can tell anyway. Either way, seems like a nice mix of modern/classic road and race cars.

Sorry, but the 919 hybrid isn't in the teaser pic above. My RSR theory is wishful thinking, too. I'm convinced now that it is indeed the Cayman GT4 Clubsport we are seeing in the teaser. Which makes me kinda sad, because we won't have any modern day GT3 or GTE race car in the first pack!

@BrandonW77 The GT4 Clubsport is made for the race track. However, it isn't a far stretch from the regular Cayman GT4. I think the Clubsport is driven by some teams in the VLN series at the Nürburgring (Cayman Cup)

Here you can see the regular model and the clubsport (german)

Right, it's clearly the 918 street car. It was early and my brain was still foggy (like the picture). Even more reason to have some sort of modern race variant included and it sounds like the Clubsport will suffice for that role, even though a Cup or GT3/GTE would have been preferred. Still pretty happy about the first pack though. 👍

they have to spread out the awesome a little....

I for one am looking forward to the Cayman GT4 to run for a while before the 911 GT3 Cup arrives and takes over all my Porsche race car attention :D

I reckon the 2015 919 Hybrid will come with Pack II and the the 2016 car, which stole a Toyota Le Mans win that I have moved on from*, will be part of Pack III. I am going to test the damage model on that one to the max!

The Cayman GT4 Clubsport has it's own class at the VLN Races. It is also used by multiple teams in the Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge.

The 918 Hybrid in the middle looks to have the Weissach Package Livery on it!

I'm banking on October 28th as that's a Friday. Somehow I can't see them releasing the first Porsche pack very soon after the Japanese pack. Hope I'm wrong though

Definitely looking forward to the 917/30 Can-Am Killer. This must be the first game in history to have that monstrosity

Red pack is going to be a blast too. Hope that's out soon. Isn't the 787B supposed to be arriving as a free update?
Remember pc and console builds will be different so say pc gets porsche pack then it will be several weeks before its on console, it was meant to be out in september so i doubt it will be out on the end of this month. 787B and first gen MX-5 are coming as a free update at some point, moneys on it being the new years present. Last year was the R8 plus and the year before was the yellowbird so something must be coming as well as the end of year bombshell license announcements.
Nops ... the guys from Grand Prix legends made a Can Am mods in 2012 http://canam71.gplworld.de/ you can scroll over the cars with your rhythm stick to have some explanation .
The 917/10 is slightly very different to the 917/30 furthermore its the first sim with manufacture support on this car. It might act quite differently.

At this point I think they will synchronise DLCs across all platforms. They already held the Japanese pack on PS4 until Xbox updated and to favour any platform over another would fill their forums and social media with ire, especially with something as significant as Porsche. If they promised Porsche in October, it better turn up in October - you know how some people react to broken promises these days..

It's nothing to do with preference to platforms. The DLC requires inspection - Kunos can't do anything other than hold back a PC release for it which is unfair if you ask me.

That was my point. They don't want to show platform preference, so they'll hold back DLCs until they're available to all. Most devs these days are walking on eggshells trying not to p*** off any of their user base unnecessarily.

And holding back DLC from the PC players would unnecessarily royally piss them off. Considering they couldn't have gotten to where they are now without the PC players that would probably be an unwise thing to do.

PCMR in da house! Yup, in this "It's not fair!" culture, I'm just thinking that they will try to synchronise future content across platforms, anyhoo, how's that sweet Red Pack goin' for ya?

I doubt it, but I guess we'all find out soon enough. The Red Pack is great. I've only driven a few, the MX5 Cup is brilliant, I've driven one of the tuned Supras and the AE86 and they're good too.

Just getting stuck into the Japanese pack over a few beers. RX-7 and R34 are keeping me occupied so far. May have to cancel some plans tomorrow..

What do you think are the chances of Porsche's Weissach test circuit being part of one of the upcoming packs?

They could make a couple of configurations such as the main loop and then take the more technical section for another.

As Scheer mentioned, I'm sure after the Japanese and Red packs Kunos mentioned that the other packs will be synchronised with PC and console release. Let's hope so
