Medication based priapism is from low blood flow and is very painful and your little buddy is slowly dying from the inside....no blood flow means no oxygen and the cells in the tissue are dying. The complete loss of function is possible, no pills to fix that.

I have had men faint while we insert the needle,.

Ice works 20% of the time, Medication works 50% of the time, the needle scares it down 20% and that leave the unfortunate 10%, lol.
Rosie O'Donnell works 100% of the time:sly:

I haven't been logging many hours of AC time because of hardware problems...but I'm still keeping up with the forums. I'm always seeing people talking about racing. People talking about setting up new servers - even renting servers for hosting, etc. Have you taken a peek over in the official forums or Race Department? I love GTPlanet because I started here with GT6, but it's not exactly the busiest Assetto Corsa forum. Aren't there those ALOOG servers running?

I'll have a look, cheers.

Also didn't realise I needed to buy the red pack to enter a server where the 488 was being used. :D it's a bit busier tonight but there's not great choice.

Do my rose coloured glasses deceive me or has Kunos taken vehicle modeling to another level here?

That depends on what you mean. Another level compared to previous AC offerings? Yep, appears so.

Another level compared to other games on the market? That'd be the glasses.

Its interesting because it shows the mindset differences that the devs try to set you up for between AC and Forza for example. Playing forza over the past few days you notice a few things, its all about speed. You need to hit this speedcamera at 190mph, do 5000ft jump over this ramp, go through this section in under a minute. It took that game to remind me why I've put over 1000hours in AC, everything is laid out on the table with it, it doesnt temp you to go fast in anyway, it leaves you to just enjoy yourself, the pleasure of driving is what got so many into the game. In forza the logical option is the best option, has it got higher numbers, well drive that then, you still get the choice in AC which is nice, it means the E92 is still an option. Im not trying to put down Forza in any way, its just that Playground games are addicted with speed, the solution to that would be having seperate leaderboards for car ranks.

...er, of course the arcade-oriented Horizon focuses more on the speed and spectacle. Motorsport is a very different beast.

Very curious about when the pack lands on consoles. Hoping for something a little older and down-to-earth to really snag me with either of the upcoming packs; this one majors on new and/or mega-powered, and I tend to prefer slightly slower road cars. Shame the GT4 is only in Clubsport guise... for now?

Fired AC back up the past few nights for the first time in around 9 months and was shocked to see how dead online was. There's 2 Nurburgring track day servers and 2 servers running GT2 cars always at the top (yawn, it's been like that since release) and that's about it. There used to be loads of servers running lots of different cars and a decent amount of people in each. This game has an amazing GT3 roster for example and there wasn't one server running a GT3 car last night. What happened?

I play on PS4 but while researching the same issue for PS4 - I ran into comments from PC players reporting they have to configure ports on there network (forward or open I forget). Some of the time it was in reference to running their own servers other times on being able to see servers..

Not sure any of that helps you but just something I noticed.. it sounds like most PC players are racing on rented and private servers though from what I am able to see.

That's what I'm thinking too but I have no idea whether I can read anything useful from these bars when driving. Don't you PC players get this odd wobble effect I mentioned?

I don't ever drive those cars so I can't really tell you what the colored bars mean other than when you see the bars it means you have KERS and when you don't see them you don't have KERS (and I could be wrong on that). Can't help on the wobble effect either as I have't driven the P1 or TheFerrari since around the time they were released.

My point is it would be nice to have more support for the slower cars, just because its arcade doesnt have to be completely about speed and raw power.

Still looks way better than rF2!

This is very true!

I should probably add that I'm in no way disappointed with the visuals. They're far from class-leading on consoles, but they're passable. I went into the game knowing as much, and at least there's a consistency across the board. But as an avid Photomoder, there's definitely still space between Kunos' best and Polyphony or T10's (which I suppose isn't actually T10's, but rather the modelling companies they contract).

It isn't "completely", it's the PR stunts you're talking about that have always been geared that way. There's still online races in the lower classes (I even saw a D100 option pop up in an online adventure a while back, which would've been a certain kind of torture). The game also constantly scales the AI to match your current car in races, so it's certainly not forcing you to pick faster cars. You can pick literally any car you want to progress through the game's career outside of the Midnight Battles.

Anyone else having major frame drops on PC? I thought I fixed it, but its just completely unplayable now. I looked around the official forums and it seems like it's caused by a Windows 10 update.

Yeah that was a patch that made it so that some people got a massive drop in either gpu or cpu not understanding that there is a game that needs to be played. Its not only AC that is effected by this, ive seen a lot of people and friends effected by it, i got lucky i guess as ive not be effected, yet.

Cool. Then it's not just me:cool:

Not just you, I agree with you too. I don't know of any games at the moment that have better detailed cars - except for maybe Gran Turismo: Sport. Forza does not count due to it's dreadful shading.

Wish there was a photo mode on PS4. Been taking screen grabs during replays but they look downright terrible. Also, I get a weird issue during replays where, at the same time, the shifting animation will stop working, tyres won't get dirty when the car goes off road, and flames constantly spit out of the exhausts. Has anyone else had this happen? It's happened a bunch of times, and after I go out of the replay and back to the track, the issues are all still there whilst driving. Doesn't go away until I go back out to the main menu and start a new race/practice session.

Edit: Just wanted to clarify, the replays usually start fine, but when this bug happens, all of those things happen at once, and don't go away at all until I completely leave the session. Weird as hell.

I just hope that these Porsches aren't outrageously difficult to handle. They look fantastic though.

The 917 and 935 will be very tricky. Mr 935 - Bob Wollek said they where always fast but difficult to drive. He once told AJ foyt the two laps he'd lap him on in a 935 race and then did it. If AJ wasn't fast in one, I don't see how anyone else should be.

The road cars, they are road cars. I'm not going to crash them. I'm not :scared:

No issues here, with the latest Win10 updates and NVidia drivers.
I'm sure some forum somewhere will contain advice on how to fix.

The November release date for Porsche on consoles is what it is, but I still hope we'll get the update this month.
And it really sucks that console players continue to get in this situation, Kunos where's my Red Pack DLC? That's the real big elephant in the room. It sucks.

Getting stuff later on consoles than on PC is something that comes with choosing a gaming system. One must be prepared to deal with the extra approvals (Sony/MS) and extended delivery times.

Of course, they could hold off the PC Porsche pack so that all versions would come out at the same time, but why harm PC players for something which wouldn't make any difference for the console release dates?

I do agree with you on the Red DLC. I mean, I have nothing against it coming out only after the first Porsche pack, but a word from Kunos would be nice.

Last I heard (forget where I saw it) the porting of all the rocket ship controls for the SF15T is what's causing the holdup. Once you see all the crap you can adjust on that car you'll know why it's taking a while, I think you can adjust almost everything they can adjust on the real cars. It's insane. The fact that you can't currently make custom button mappings probably isn't helping either. We can use button boxes and keyboards to map all that stuff (there's way more than you can map to the wheel buttons) but you guys can't do that and I'd imagine that's causing some issues.

Just release it with KERS and DRS, they can patch everything else later, that's what usually happens! :P I want the track and the other cars more than the ability to adjust all that other stuff.

EDIT: my post went a bit weird there.

Yeah, I can sympathize, I just drive the car with the default settings because I can't be arsed to take a masters degree in computer programming and rocket science just to learn all the controls of that car.

That's what I imagine as well, that is has to do with button mapping. But where's the official statement?

They actually started well with the Community Blog, but that died as well.

But where's the official statement?

Can't help you there. I believe I read that on one of their social media pages but it was a couple weeks ago and I can't recall exactly where (was more a comment than an official statement though). They're usually decent about communicating things, but maybe it's proving difficult enough that they don't have a good grasp on when it will be ready and don't want to give any false hopes by giving a release date until they have a better idea of when it will be done. Or maybe they're just so over-whelmed with all the crap they have to fix/add and negative feedback that the console team has gone into hiding with Witness Protection Program. Plus, the Porsche project has probably taken priority over a lot of things. I dunno.
