So with 911 GT1 and Moby Dick out of the way there are only two cars left on my sim dream list - Matra MS80 and Tyrrel 003. Today's a good day for america.

I'll have my GT3 RS video up shortly (mistakes and all), but word of warning: the 919 is terrifyingly quick and agile.
I was just watching a live stream on YouTube of a guy at Spa-Francorchamps and Nordschleife and it seems like a ballistic missile. Crazy acceleration!

The 962 is a different kind of scary as it can break loose with the slightest bit of acceleration out of a corner, but the 919... good lord.

It is a minor issue but I am not overly impressed with the sound of the ICE in the 919 Hybrid though. The pitch is off compared to the real thing and gear changes are very pronounced and abrupt.

Having said that I cannot wait to try it!

Tip: 911 GT1, 3rd person camera and lift while you shift up.
That car.... my gosh.

The 919 also proofs what I thought the whole time, the URD PX mod cars are way to unstable. The official car drives a lot more like I expected from watching real footage.

The first thing that came to my mind as well. No matter how much you inch into a corner the URD cars always want to oversteer.

I loved all of the cars, but I somehow drifted the Cayenne.

For those that missed it, make sure you hit the KERS/ERS button or set the 919 to hotlap mode... sweet mother of God... this has got to be one of the craziest cars in any sim.

Great interview and the reporter asked some good questions 👍

Great interview indeed. There were some meaningful questions and honest answers by Marco. Great to hear about their future plans, PS4pro, dismissing PSVR and the focus on that custom championship mode.

Pffft, that car's been available on console for months now. That said, I really want to try the GT4. Very, very badly.

Screenshots of AC are such strange animals . They manage to look both realistic and not at the same time. Am I alone in thinking this?

I think it's a mixture between the car models and things like the tarmac looking great vs the dated 2D trees and crappy default clouds and such.

Don't take my pic as a benchmark though :D

This is a very nice interview with someone from Porsche, not Kunos, talking about their relationship with Kunos, data sharing, cars, etc...

Sounds to me that Kunos is now indeed the premium partner for Porsche for the virtual world. Their interest in e-Sports is an important point, because Assetto Corsa isn't the most popular game online. I guess some people are playing multiplayer on PC, but that isn't a huge crowd. On console, the online multiplayer isn't playable at times because no one is at the server at all. Console multiplayer is a ghost town and it will be really hard to change that. Private lobbys might come too late.

However, if Porsche really wants to push the e-Sport side of things, they might consider funding a Porsche-only version of Assetto Corsa build from the ground up with online competition in mind? Maybe something like GT Sport, but with the physics engine and all the car data from AC. With such a huge company like Porsche interested in working so close with Kunos, i wonder how long Kunos will stay independent. There might be a small chance that this team will be part of Porsche at some point, which is fine to me, but i could be a hard decision for them as a team.

1.10.1
- Fixed Porsche Cayenne Turbo S not working

Edit:
- Improved tyre load formula
@lord Kunos pls elaborate

Lord Kunos: too math intensive to dive into it. The net result is a more "violent" load change over bumps, it is nothing massive but big enough to be felt through the FF... I think, might be placebo tho.
