Yeah when your saving stuff in Mmos ,,,,eprom or game profiles etc,, press save and then press save again just to make sure it's saved properly ,,, if you only press save once is doesn't always save,,,

just a little tip for ya .

Save it to both default and eprom right? And when you power it if you have the offset set right the wheel should be perfectly straight or not necessarily? And (last one for now :dopey: promise! ) do you need to launch mmos when you use the wheel or just to mske adjustments?

Seriously, thanks!

Yep ,,,,and yes when you set the offset it should be centered perfect in game ,,,

I always launch Mmos , load one of my presets and leave it open whilst the game is running ,,

Give these AC settings a try,,although i added some kerb , road & slip effect to my settings but they feel great anyways ,,

Great, I really appreciate it so much. I am nervous I am gonna hit the wrong thing a mess something up. Although I did figure out the indexing thing at least :dunce:. I am sure in a couple days it will all make sense, just seems like a lot now.

Again, thanks man:tup::gtpflag:

Yeah so I ordered an adapter for my Thrustmaster pedals (usb converter) on Monday and it still hasn't shipped out. Went to contact the company today and they are CLOSED until next Wednesday!!! I am so ANGRY! I now have a beautiful DD wheel setup that I can't use for at least a week!!! Took 2 days to get the system from Europe but I can't get a package from 2 states away in under a week, freakin great, huh?

I understand the excitement for your new setup etc, but please may I suggest you move your discussion to the appropriate section (Sim Racing Hardware). Thanks.

Does anybody know how to see the battery charge state on the F138 and SF115-T for kers? I assume it shows on the virtual wheel but I have that set to off.

Thanks

I think you can see some of that on the gears app, there will be different colored lines inside the circle that shows the state of the various charges. I have no clue what is what and what they mean but I believe that's what is being shown there.

Great, I will check it out.

Thank you bud

I am trying to figure out why when I go through a fast turn (quick panning left to right or right to left) I get a bit of blurriness or very slight choppiness, it's not smooth. I believe it might be due to using a 4k tv (60hz) but I am not sure.. I have plenty of fps and turned on Vsync (adaptive and it makes no difference either on or off really). I tried a bunch of settings in Nvidia control panel also but no luck. Do you think it's related to the refresh rate? or might there be something I am missing in the Assetto graphics panel?

Thanks for any help

Sounds kinda like screen tearing, but you've taken the appropriate measures to counteract it, so not sure. Do you have your FPS capped in-game, and if so what do you have it capped to?

Is your TV in Game mode? Blurriness tends to mean no.

Yeah I don't get any tearing using a 60hz 4K screen so it might be just low FPS.

I actually find that Vsync can make things 'juddery' and are best left off.

It was originally set to 200, lowered it to 120 (saw that posted somewhere) and then tried 60, all the same.

Yes, in game mode. I even tried it in another mode and turned on the "fake" 120hz Trumotion (everything else off)and it was actually worse!

What type of screen do you have? I actually have a GTX 1080 and when I use the FPS meter it jumps to whatever I have it capped at and doesn't drop at all :boggled:. I tried it with Vsync off and really didn't notice a difference other than the occasional tearing/jump.

Thanks guys

Set FPS to max in Content Manager and changed to fast vsync and it seems to be a bit better. I also turned hyperthreading on for the heck of it.

Will try some other stuff tomorrow to see if I can get it spot on. I might just be expecting perfection that isn't going to happen.

Thanks guys

Generally TV's never perform as well as dedicated monitors unfortunately.

Yeah, I am just not ready for the triple jump yet. I would love a 4k widescreen in the 43 inch range with gsync (oh my $$$$). I am sure they are coming.

More messing around today with Assetto and my new favorite car, the SF15-T with full teams skins.

the SF15-T? :nervous:  I don't think I've driven it since the day I bought it. It's possible I'm incorrect, but I'd be willing to bet it was between DLC purchase day and 7-10 days later. The friggin car is so complex..if you want to take advantage of everything it has to offer. The new Logitech steering wheels are well suited for that SF15-T. All those extra buttons would come in handy.

I'm pretty sure the AI doesn't use any of the rocket ship gizmos so if you're only racing offline you don't really need to worry about finishing that masters degree to learn all the controls, you can just leave them at or near default.

Is there any way to change default settings on a particular car? I usually have a default setup that I start off with and then go from there. It's a little tiresome to find the setup by looking for it on another track and then load it. Maybe it is obvious but I can't see it :dunce:

At the top of the track list in your setup screen there should be one called "Generic", just save your default setup there so you always know where it is and can find it quickly. That's what I do anyway, I don't think there's a (easy) way to permanently change the default setup.

Ahh, ok. For some reason I though that was something else :dunce:.

Thank you
