I put together a video for you, hopefully its what you want...
gt3 cars are not usually my fav cars to drive, I can't get used to the TC. Anyways, this lap was done with a totally stock setup - I didn't even change the fuel load.

6:54.392 good for 12th place according to rsr timing app.

Ops, i forgot to say that i wanted it to be in the chase cam. Sorry about that.
I guess i will just re record all my Pcars, Forza and GT Sport gameplay in Cockpit view then.

Still, Thanks for helping me :)

@ToyGTone
I would redo it for you except I have no way of recording it from the chase cam. I used the NVidia screen capture to get the video, and I only drive from the cockpit view.
Is it possible to go into the replay and change it into chase camera?
I should have bought this game on PC or Console.

I do too, but I'm not sure I have high hopes of it happening. Fingers crossed.

I'm not holding my breath on it. Unless they've managed to keep something under wraps and completely secret...which I doubt. I really wish that they would go after some lesser known tracks.
Kunos want big name tracks to recoup the finances, but I don't think big names are needed for the players who have hung around. I'd love Monaco and other famous tracks, but you'd keep me just as happy by releasing 4 or 5 small tracks like RBR national or Brands Indy. These small tracks make for great racing particularly in cars below 450BHP.

Would be great to be able to do a championship with just small tracks. They are great for online too because you can do 10-15 laps in 15-20 minutes and never feel too far away from anyone. Really wish Kunos would consider this.

I can give it a try if you're prepared to wait until tonight? 2pm here in the U.K. currently so around 7-9pm I can do it.

Hey man and everyone else.

I have a question which is related to VR if I can please.

I have a ps4 and play AC on that.
Couple of days ago I tried it on pc in VR. (It was awesome by the way :rolleyes:).
It was Occulus rift but not sure which gen/version.
The graphics looked bad! Really grainy and pixelated! You can forget about it and race but i couldn't help noticing how obvious it is!

I'm surprised when I watch youtube videos of recorded gameplay, like yours, that is crystal clear!

What am i missing?!
It it because all this "3d world" is expended on a big area while in your youtube video is restricted to this small 2D area?!
Or maybe there's some new Gen with higher quality/resolution?!

Well when you see videos of it what you are missing is the Occulus Screens.

Did it make you feel queasy at all?

I tried VR for the first time a couple weeks ago with R3E and I didn't have any motion sickness at all and the graphics looked just fine (maybe not quite as good as on a nice monitor, but probably 95% as good). I don't know which HMD it was though.

Is Assetto Corsa getting the Tesla Model S EGT race car? The video is from the official EGT Championship YouTube channel. You can see Kuno's logo in the video and at the end of the video it says you'll be able to drive it on PC and console so that means it won't be a mod.

Nice find, first I've heard of it. I'd hoon it. My dad has a Model S and the thing is freaking insane.

Good find. It does look like AC with the grass looks very familiar. Seeing the Kunos sign trumps my grass though! I would be more than happy to try that out.

I saw these on Instagram. They're playing at Le Mans. It's clearly Assetto Corsa, but is the track the modded La Sarthe? I can't tell.

I would assume it's the Tiago Lima mod track. It has been repeatedly hinted Kunos will not be adding Circuit de la Sarthe. I can't say that I blame them, from an economic standpoint. Of course, things change...however, there is no way the track in those photos is from Kunos.

Does anyone know what Stefano means about "finally fixed the solid axle problem"? I got a Twitter update from him but that's pretty much all I can say. Supposedly, Steam DB has been updated which means an update is around the corner. I'll be curious to see what may appear in our next PC update. Has anyone heard anything concrete?

They briefly discuss it in the Social Media thread but don't go into too many details. Basically, old cars with solid axles weren't behaving quite right and they had to fudge some things to make them feel right, but while working on something else Aris stumbled upon a solution that worked and it's going to be sent out as a 1.14 hotfix soon®.

I finally read the official forums post about it. Someone asked Stefano for a quick explanation and his response was:
pretty easy actually... forces where always calculated and applied at the wheel.. which is reasonable for independent suspensions but not for axles. Axle's springs are placed more inboard and the more they are inboard the more they tend to become soft in roll while staying the same in pitch. Aris always struggled to have axle cars to roll without exhibiting too much pitch and the result was always a compromise that left us very unsatisfied.. we knew something was wrong there.
We now have a parameter to move the spring attach points inboard.

He stumbled upon the solution while looking into something totally different, I feel pretty stupid for not having thought about it earlier... but at the same time super excited and happy to have put this behind, we've been chasing this issue for literally years.. I went over and over that code so many times coming back to Aris with a "I don't know, code looks totally fine".

As far as which cars this will affect at the moment, he responded:

Alfa GTA, the old Maserati, the Escort.

So, 6 of the 7 are already chosen.

I vote 430 Scuderia. One of my favorite Ferrari's ever. Although, the 288 GTO mod we have isn't so great, so that would be a good one. A3DR is making a Testarossa and his cars are just as good as official content, imo.

In my opinion mostly great choices for the Ferrari car pack. I've already asked for the 288 GTO and 330 P4. I can understand why the rest were chosen, and the poll is going to require some days of thinking on my part.

So, 6 of the 7 are already chosen.

Probably for the best in order to meet the fall 2017 target.

Ok, this so hard, my god. So recap on my preferences: I've ridden shotgun on a 430 Scuderia and it's one of my favourite Ferrari's. And as @ALB123 said, a (good) Testarossa mod is being devolped. I don't like F1s that much actually, so rule them out. The 360 Modena is interesting if only it's the manual version. The Enzo sure is interesting, but I'm not to keen on it, neither are Kunos, they've said it. The F355 is the F1 and Spyder to make it worse, so nope. I love the 550, but do I love it more than the 430 Scuderia to drive on a circuit? Probably not. I don't like the F50. As for cars that wear slicks and not F1s I can rule out the Challange cars. 575 GTC, 250 Testarossa and the 512M are my favourites.

So my options are:
-430 Scuderia
-575 GTC
-512M
-250 Testarossa

I need to sleep to make a decision.

Ferrari DLC poll

http://www.assettocorsa.net/ferrari-70th-anniversary-pack/#

These are the ones that are already chosen by Kunos.

  • 1962 250 GTO
  • 1967 330 P/4
  • 1967 312/67
  • 1984 288 GTO
  • 2004 F2004
  • 2017 812 Superfast
Sweet baby Jesus! 4 cars pre 90s and that only means fun. A noughties F1, that means we just need a 90s F1 now. I watched a video of the Super fast only yesterday and thought to myself I bet that is in the pack!

I'm literally in a state of confusion right now, don't know which to vote for other than all of them. I mean 100% want the acid and the 360, but then I see the 250TR. But then I see.........yea you get the picture.

Here's what I hope doesn't top the voting in order. 550 Maranello. Enzo, then maybe the newer F1s but how can I say no to Schumis car. Also there's 2 voting slots for both of the modern F1 cars, which means they may not win out due to split voting for the same car.
Which of the race cars in the list has direct competition with any of the Kunos cars?
The one in the video posted above.

Some context won't hurt before casting the vote, so here's the known Ferrari lineup once the DLC gets released:

Ferrari 250 GTO
Ferrari 330 P4
Ferrari 312/67
Ferrari 312T
Ferrari 288 GTO
Ferrari F40
Ferrari F2004
Ferrari 458 Italia
Ferrari 458 GT2
Ferrari 599XX Evo
Ferrari F138
Ferrari LaFerrari
Ferrari FXX K
Ferrari SF15-T
Ferrari 488 GTB
Ferrari 488 GT3
Ferrari 812 Superfast
