Guess we have some signs of life again, they posted a Huayra picture earlier today on FBook and one of the staff member responded to a comment saying that we will have some news about AC next week...

Was excited when the Tech Preview came out. Am less excited now than I was before the Tech Preview. Mostly because it's worse to have someone show you cake that you can't have than it is to just not have cake at all. With no idea if cake will be arriving in a week or a month or a year.

None of you seems to realize that the game will be much bigger than what they initially planned to release. So of course it takes longer and thats a good thing.

Only important question is whether its worth the wait and so far, I m quite sure it is.

Neither of us said a word about hurry up and release it, just that we would like some more info about when to expect to see the game. I dont see any issue with wanting to know that. If your happy with the info youve gotten fine, but some of us would like a bit more.

I think they misplanned their promotion and shot their load too soon. Is that a crime? May I critique how they present their not-yet-released game? Is that all right with you?

I don't know how they're spending their time and it's not much of my business. It'll be out when it's out. I'm perfectly OK with sticking my two cents in about the things they HAVE done though. Unless it comes out in the next week, I think they went too soon with the Tech Preview.

It's not the end of the world, but there's stuff all to talk about at the moment anyway so I don't see why this is a problem.

Thank you for the link, as you mentioned, it might be awhile yet, meanwhile back at the ranch, I had a blast this afternoon at Interlagos racing online with NetKar Pro.
It is so much fun to feel the car, force feedback and all, on a good wheel.
I still like driving in GT5, but you don't know how good your wheel is until you have tried it with NKP, and of course AC.

And untrue, unless you believe one GT2 car is worth more than two GT3 cars, a KTM and the LCC Rocket. No point comparing though.

I'm excited (though not hyped) about both AC and GT6, that Ferrari above is looking awesome. Have to say a lot of the steam got taken out of the GT6 launch with them choosing to use the old sound engine for the unvieling demo. I'm not surprised if people were put on a bit of a downer.

Anyway, I stopped following AC since the demo, seems a lot of people have become really impatient, personally I'd rather wait until its done. So many games where the fans push and push for a release and then complain and complain when it isn't done to their expectations, the game companies can only work as fast as is possible and I'm sure they want people to play it more than anything.

Yes I do.

The only thing that hyped me a bit is the Alfa TZ3 Stradale which looks like a phat cat. The other stuff KTM, SLS GT3, nice stuff but not enough to hype me. Dino is a classic, awesome but not my style. Definitely GT6 needs more race cars like the 458 GT2. Maserati MC12 GT1 that would be sick.

And more important is that they make sense, PD needs to fire whoever is the clown in charge of the physics and performance in the cars. They need to drop the "what if" modifying PP crap and balance the race cars according to class so we can have a level playing field on the GT community.
Crappy sounds, flat kerbs, weak almost inexistent FFB, generic physics randomly distributed trough the cars, stupid tire wear and extremely unstable connections need to go if GT6 is to be taken seriously by the sim racing community.
