Surprised Le Mans is so high up. It's got a lot of prestige, but it's a pretty boring track to drive.

And lunar proves me right... we don't have any LMPs so I don't really see the point.
Not so much the track but the event itself is what I'm most interested on, there is no version of this track in any of the modern big sims out there so AC will definitelly be ahead with the track.Surprised Le Mans is so high up. It's got a lot of prestige, but it's a pretty boring track to drive.
Don't worry, Enduracers and many others are looking in and I'm sure already testing their mods in sim.I'm guessing a lot of people are thinking how great the actual event and race is rather than how good the track will be with the cars that are currently confirmed by Kunos.

Oh! 599XX Evo incoming this Friday!!
Off topic, I saw and heared booth Z4 and 458 road car version in real life. With Z4 I was not impressed. The thing is to make them race toghether Z4 has been higly tuned, 458 has been highly detuned. Race car looks cool and phat, road car really nothing special. End Ot.Can't wait to take that Z4 GT3 around Monza! Friday can't come soon enough!
Do you think FFB will be improved with future updates ? AC FFB is good, but compared to rFactor2's FFB it is just disappointing. I wonder if it is about FFB refresh rate because with a CSR Elite it doesn't feel smooth at all while it it rich, deep and perfectly smooth with rF2.
View attachment 90687 Oh the anxiety!!!
The Kunos vs iRacing/rF2 FFB argument, surprised it hadn't made its way here till now.
It all comes down to how real you want it to feel? If you want the ultimate in reality there's very little you'll feel on the wheel other than a heavy spring that gets lighter as you loose traction. If you want to feel bumps, road imperfections and other forces then you'll be stepping away from reality as many of those things you just don't feel trough the steering wheel in a real car.
iRacing and rF2 do an excellent job of transmiting all those inputs and forces in a realistic feeling way.
Kunos is on the right track to finding the perfect balance but where they really exel is comunicating what the tires are doing trough the steering wheel.
iRacing/rF2 do a great job of communicating what the whole car is doing with very rich detail.
The post is not about FFB realism, it is about the way the wheel feels geared in AC. You can feel that the motors are trying to keep the rim at a target angle, it feels sandy, like a 10-40Hz position update instead of 500Hz. AC transforms my CSR Elite in a G25 (hard to explain what hands can feel ). I do not ask for artificial rumble or additionnal unrealistic FFB informations. I just want it to feel natural, like rF2 FFB. I am not in a troll post about the best simulation, I love AC, but I will be very happy not to feel the "clink clink clink" ffb update.
Dude, you can turn every single one of those updates off. It's in the options menu. Even one of the Kunos guys posted on twitter about not loving these things, but feeling obligated to put them in. You can turn them off, turn them down, or keep them. It's totally up to you.
I'll agree they're stupid and not appropriate, but I certainly don't mind they're an option for those who want it. Although they probably should have defaulted them to off when they did that update.
You'll love it, specially after tomorrow's update!I was on the fence about AC, but at only $29.99 I just said what the hell. Proud owner here!
EDIT: I take that back. I didn't realize it was an announcement. Hmm. Sounds like they snagged a high profile car license or track. I would be super excited for Porsche (don't even think that's possible) or Nordschleife.
