Each to their own and all, but I can't see the point of SEVEN wings producing a total of 20kg of lift at top speed. The realtime dynamics of those wings would have have less affect on the car then the driver reaching for the radio.

I set up a worksheet that elabs physics on the base of seven separated point of the car. Nothing scientifically perfect but it does its job and I'm personally happy with it. If I knew more than what I do, well, I would make this my job.

Assetto Corsa reached a new high yesterday, over 8,000 player peak, this is amazing.
Congratulation to all that are relentlessly making AC a better SIM.

I love the water main break in the road  oh its steam!
So excellent, and some reverb-

Thx mate for your kind words. It was all worth it, reading people appreciates what ya doing. 👍 :D

Sorry guys, my fault. :scared: :guilty:
Copy the config file into the "loaded" folder and overwrite old one. That still have some bugs and will surely be updated on github soon. :embarrassed: :)
I´m still don´t use that "loaded" folder and always forget others do it. I think I´ve to restructure me and that folders. ;)

As smaller compensation, here some nice races in memory of Stirling Moss on yt, TCL cars on Goodwood ;) :

Stay well and safe...

Today, the VRC modding team wrote "soon" about this Auriel (^^ Audi 90 IMSA GTO) so... wait and see !

We are aware this racing car is available elsewhere with the Dan Bucsa version in v1.6 which was taken from a previous mod. ;)

Take care and stay safe !

I know that good and cool cars, are always welcome, but the true is, with so many, many wonderfull cars that noone work on them, why so many people working on the very same car? I believe there are at least four very good mods of this Audi.
As I said, the more the merrier, but sometimes hitting the same spot many times, doesn't bring any knews.
Just my humble opinion.

Cheers.

F1 2014 Mod 0.5

View attachment 909927
This is a recreation of the 2014 Formula 1 Season powered by Real Series Simulation, who originally created the mod for rFactor. It features the car models of every team plus the revised Caterham CT05.

Every car offers:
- functioning ERS system
- animated DRS
- steering wheel displays and LEDs
- rear ERS and pit indicator lights

All sounds from the individual engine manufacturers have been ported via FMOD.
When using Custom Shaders Patch, due to the TyresFX extension dynamic tyre compound change is available.

This is not a final release, since there still are some things unaccounted for; for instance no driver skins are available yet. For the time being you can use skins from previous or later seasons, which are supported by the Kunos base driver.

fantastic work, a good mod of 2014 did not exist, but the sound is to be reviewed above all echo and reverberation on the tracks, hides the car's engine too much

It is frustrating, but it's just one of those things I guess. At some point in the distant future I may develop the motivation to do my own conversions but until then, I just have to accept what's out there. Everyone is different in the end, I for one look at someone converting one of the Lego cars from FH4, ignoring things like the TVR Tuscan, Corvette C5, Lotus Elise S1 etc. and cannot understand it in any way whatsoever, but I'm sure it brings them pleasure for whatever unfathomable reason to me and that's really what AC has become about, building the game that you want.

I share your thought and specially on this car !
VRC modding team is one of the best paymods studio for AC and there is some another iconic racing cars like, for example, the Brabham BT 52 (design, first turbo F1 car which won a championship in the F1 modern era, insane torque, fabulous 4 cylinders BMW turbo sound) which deserves a first quality works.

The Audi 90 IMSA GTO is, in my opinion, not an iconic racing cars, It stills an interesting car but, what is his place in the history... Is it a major place !?
For me, the answer is no but I’m not in a proselytism way of thinking. ;)

By the way, |Mr|Mike is the sound designer and that’s really matter here !

Take care and stay safe !

I think I never saw this haha.
IT would be possible to have this update please?

The 962 is doing well.
Concerning some Group C, The 905from Assetto Racer is great!

Hi,

I see that many mod-cars have this little issue: the colors don't alter in the tyre-app according to the temperatures. They are all the time green or blue no matter how cold or hot they are. Is there a simple fix for it by messing with the car's data folder?

2 questions about sound track :)

1) Is it possible to change the volume of existing sound reverb portion in a track?
2)Is there an easy method to create sound reverb portion in a track?

It s an effect that is not use a lot but it add lot of diversity and life to a track I think, a good example is road america, so much fun the portion beetween wall with a lot of reverb!

Thanks mates

Reverb is awesome. It adds a LOT to tracks when used properly. I've personally no real idea how to add it though. You could look at the Maple Valley config, as one of the team added reverb along the pit straight and in other places.

@PepperoniAC24

Hi !

The last "Monaco Faux 72" track is a piece of choice for the good using of the reverbs.👍

Take care, stay safe and don't forget to say "Hello" to my neighbor Totoro ! ;)

EDIT
You ask for some "reworks" on track... I think (I feel really selfish indeed), "Adelaïde 1988" could be a good candidate.
The groove on the track doesn't exist and around It's a pity !
Well It's one of the poorest converted tracks I ever met... and I'm not a "collectionneur".

Long time lurker, first time poster. But to answer this, yes these works are stolen and sold for a profit.

So a question on this actually, I work closely with the guys at iDT in the past and have communication iDT Doug. Doug and myself are pretty much the only people left. None of us have any AC modding experience. SimDream has ignored the take down orders of the 1994-1995 CART mod. Does some one out there happen to have this mod so that we can officially provide a free download?

Hey Chris, you might not remember me but I was also an iDT member back in the day (originally with Pierre, Doug, and Zero-g).

I have a copy of the mod on my PC, which I have improved as SimDream's conversion is utter ****, plus 1996 and 1997 skins.

And yes daan, we CAN comment on the illegitimate business practices of others. What they are doing is disgusting and should not be encouraged here. How would you feel if random people made money off work you did 5, 10, 15 years ago? Not too happy I'm sure.

First off many thanks for sharing this mod with us. Your mods are always lots of fun and much appreciated by fans of historic IMSA and SCCA road racing like myself. And the accuracy of your liveries always adds greatly to the experience.
I'm wondering why you chose to have large sections of roll cage in front of the driver's sight lines? It made me wonder how they could drive them and find apexes with those huge rods in front and I don't really see those vision obscuring rods in the historic photos I've been able to find of the car..
