Thanks Zin5ki. Can wait to add it to my IMSA/Trans Am field.

I'm wondering why you chose to have large sections of roll cage in front of the driver's sight lines? It made me wonder how they could drive them and find apexes with those huge rods in front and I don't really see those vision obscuring rods in the historic photos I've been able to find of the car..

Thats been an issue in all the SCCA cars. I have no idea why the cross bar is there, even the A pillar is just too much in view. Driven a late 80's Oldsmobile NASCAR car before at Pacific Raceway, its not an SCCA car but there was no bar there either :D

There aint no driving it this way  A pillar and cross need to be sawzall'd.

No cross bar and the A pillar not in drivers view in the Ford. (other SCCA mods)

Update to the Alfa Romeo Giulietta Spider for use with the Touring Car Legends Pack:
Body stance even better, further work on physics and handling, a little more grip and better tires to allow for harder driving without having to fight the car every ten seconds. Minor fixes here and there. (Gave it a smidge more power)
This is the whole car. Overwrite files it asks for.

This car is not going to be the fastest car of the bunch. It is not a Mustang, nor a Porsche 911. The car isn't going to win on big tracks with long straights, however, it can win on tight small tracks without a doubt. Great addition to the pack even if only used for an AI fill but I think it drives even better now.

First off many thanks for sharing this mod with us. Your mods are always lots of fun and much appreciated by fans of historic IMSA and SCCA road racing like myself. And the accuracy of your liveries always adds greatly to the experience.

I had the same problem, although not as bad, with the new Ginetta GT4, so I made a quick fix using the extension folder to hide the rollcage completely. Fairly simple to do if the rollcage is a single separate object, give me a shout if you'd like to try and need some help 👍

Easiest fix is to just delete the roll bar from the model. The other option is to replace it with another roll cage that doesn't obstruct the front. Will be doing one or the other cause I definitely what to drive it and not just have it as a field filler.
Unless of course Zin5ki decides to do that himself :)

Correction, Norm's solution is even easier 👍

@Elio92 Think you'll enjoy this one mate :D

You know what, I was on the point to post the news (very excited !) and I saw yours. ;)
I was cooking something so.... I waited sooooooooooooooooo long for testing THE sound..!

I enjoyed mate... but the vanilla one took back, I will explain it !

First, if I note this works on RD, I will put 4 stars but with me, It's all or nothing..!
Second, the works on it is really good (I think he "pitched" a little bit the sound with the materials he got on YT) BUT :
- when you shift up, there is a little gap (normal) too long... It irritated me,
- when you shift down and at low rev, I lost this little surround effect in the low spectrum audio (one of the most enjoying sound designed thing for this car from Kunos, in my opinion)... It irritated me too,
- when you let down the throttle , there is an unsupportable whistle... It irritated me A LOT !!!

I wrote above for the internal feeling (I play always in cockpit view) but for the external, It "sounds" very very good !!!
It's a little bit "wilder", no doubt some players will/could enjoy it.

So, It's often a question of taste, this works is really good but I prefer to stay with the vanilla one for this car which I love so much.

Take care and stay safe mate ! ;)

To be fair I just posted this without testing it in game, but it sounded great from his videos and I loved his Supra mod and sound and of course it's always objective as someone else may well enjoy this sound more then me or you.
I know where you are coming from with relation to the gap between shifting as he seems to have this problem with a lot of his sound mods. So for me, I will try it out on the Kunos 917 and leave the rest as they are ( I have fourteen 917s of various guises installed). And if I notice those things that you mentioned I will return to the original sound - I'm glad i made a backup lol.
I trust your judgement and you are always very concise with your reviews

You take care and stay safe too

I would like to understand how the grip works to add more
Tires are almost like a living entity. You can;t just adjust one number without affecting other parameters. It's an artform getting suspension to tire grip just right.
The rabbit hole of tires works a little like:
First - use content manager to replace tires on the car. Trying different ones may get you what you want.
Second - generate new tires in content manager. Search this thread for Tyres Machine (tyre machines?) This will most likely get you what you want.
Third - go to Asseto Corsa's own forum, look under physics and learn what each parameter does in tyres.ini.

After that third one, you'll be able to fix certain cars that fit in between the parameters of switching tires. (DRM Revival pack is an example of tires that don't switch out easy but could use a tweak here and there)

These look very nice but you might wanna stick these in the photo thread - unless they are advertising some tweaks to the map that I'm not aware of.

Editing this to say - I didn't realise these were meant for backgrounds / Splash screens lol. I take back what I said as they are really nice shots.
