Maybe I don't know if it will be made necessarily
because it is force quit.

Either way, when using BLM lights it seems to be an error without ini.
(I testing with BLM1.9.5)

ext_config.ini rename to singapore_2020.ini
and copy to "extension/config/tracks/" folder
How about doing this?

a fix would have been to update to latest version, 1.15.2 (that handles ext_config.ini too)
your version is from March 2019

Hello guys and sorry if what I'm going to ask is off topic (but I see many amazing people here that maybe can help me).
I have this texture problem and for the life of me I can't fix it; some textures (some trees (canopy edges), some road textures) have this "net" look.
I've searched the web but I didn't managed to find a solution (or maybe I don't know what to search).
Thank you for your time.
PS: I encounter this problem also in the last two (2) Assassin's Creed games (mainly on trees (canopy edges) and building edges)

Final version of my Adria conversion. Added dynamic groove and 2 basic cameras. Enjoy.

Thank you slider666 for encouraging me to improve this track.
Great track thanks! Just a quick note to not use capital letters in track/car folder names. It stops CM from recording statistics. Unless of course this has been updated with the recent spate of CM updates we've all had but I haven't noticed anything in the changelogs.

Nope, it has not changed yet. Capital letters prevents CM to record statistics.
I made changes the moment I installed Adria for the first time and forgot about it. Capital letters are still present in the updated version, so I had to do it again.
So, if you have driven lots of laps and wondering why the CM distance counter is still showing zero...you know what to do :D

Hey guys, any engine tuners out there, can you help me out?

Im using this tool to get the torque and bhp figures correct for the LMP1s (namely the R10 and 908 at the moment)
http://jsfiddle.net/x4fab/rw6pug21/embedded/result/

For the R10 TDI im basing it around the 2007 figures of 1285Nm and 650+/700Bhp.

I can get it right (within reason) in the webpage, but when I copy the data into the engine.ini and power.lut files for the car and refresh the power curve in CM (using data only). Im getting much higher results.

Question is...which one should I be trusting? Should I be lowering my numbers in the power.lut to get closer in CM, and if so, should I be hitting crank or wheel figures. Ive tried looking online, and the specs for the R10 don't specifiy whether they are crank or wheel bhp and torque results.

I'm sorry to report that the issue I had (race cancelled message) is still present in this version. :indiff:
I constantly get that message. Loading completes, screen changes like it'll show the car before start, than game crashes. I tried eveything previously posted. Latest BLM Lights, singapore_2020.ini in right place, tried different cars etc. It launched for only one time in maybe 40+ tries. It looks awesome, great work. I'm missing out.

Is there something I can help regarding to this? Crash reports etc.? I'm technically limited.

Apologies for the OT but I need a quick answer. Can somebody with a Rift please check their device manager and see if the HMD shows up under Oculus VR Devices? Only my Rift Sensor is currently listed there. If the HMD is not listed there, can you please check if it's listed elsewhere in device manager? Many thanks. My Rift is still borked after trying that GT track yesterday (no image at all in the headset).

Only Rift sensor under Oculus VR devices
And no HMD, only audio and controller devices

You might send a message to RD's admin about the availability of your mod, or temporarily do an additional upload to Mediafire or Mega so we can try it out.

I'm very interested in "seeing" your version after Chevrolet had their Corvette C8 track day event for the press and social influencers a couple of months ago. The current-day track has a lot of wear and tear on it, and it's evident the harsh desert conditions have taken its' toll on the track surface, but it's still a good track, and a very scenic location.

Here's a recent run from a new C8 owner after having his suspension adjusted for track.

[EDIT] The Chevrolet C8 event was at Spring Mountain, not at Willow Springs. I confused the names and locations. Hadn't finished my coffee yet.

Maybe this works better?

Seems at least to be a "official" version on Ilja´s site at all.
But I never used it yet. Mostly I´m working on tracks not on cars, for now. ;)

Both these methods require adjustment as your end figure is always power at the wheels. The figure CM shows when you update the data is correct. I just make my own curves now it saves a bit of time. What you can do is just import the power.lut into excel or similar spreadsheet and then take away your drive-train loss in percentage and export the revised figures back into power.lut. It takes a bit of fiddling around but works well.

Transmission loss is a bit of a mystery though, some say AC uses 13% right across the board, others say up to 20% loss on AWD cars. I've also read that it uses a formula that takes lots of variables into consideration from the data folder to come up with a final figure. It would be good if anyone could show some actual figures that the AC engine uses to work out this loss though rather than just "educated" guesses?

EDIT:

I assume the figures you are found are at the crank, in my experience nearly all figures quoted are measured that way unless they specifically state at the wheels.

I have my turn to try again by reinstalling the files but like @Fanapryde I still do not have night lighting ...
