Thanks for replying yeah I notice it with the open wheelers the good is that I can smooth the road mesh, the thing is that I don't know where the actual bumps and cracks are and since it's a conversion I left the road as is. If you can point me where they are i can start trying to sort it out.

I'll see what I can do for you. Maybe I'll mark up a map of the track to show where the worst places are--there's at least 7-8 areas that need to be smoothed (either to remove the bumps, or reduce their severity).

Take something like the Renault R24 (link below) for a few laps. You'll find some bad places on the racing line that completely upset the car, which can totally ruin your approach to a turn, and exit. With the 720s GT3, the bumps are so bad that the transmission disengages and engages several times as the car bounces off the track surface.

And I thought this was easy:

I'll give your Meld a try, thanks!
I was having the same problem as @Fanapryde , I thought I'd reported also but must have forgotten! Anyway this file fixes it for me too, also with the hesitation. I think this is purely to do with BLM app. I've had the hesitation for a while now. Will do more testing.

I'm assuming the "REM=" you have removed from the ini file was causing the conflict here?

REM is not causing any problems, but that's fine...

Night lighting works now!

Maybe the problem was that you were not using the latest version of BLM?

Thank you again for your help and your work!

New version was the same.
BLM working folder will change...

I somehow understood the cause.
I will write again later.

Yeah I know where they are on the model, what I need to know where they are in real life because I don't want to leave the road completely flat.

Hi!
A small question: are there any HUD mods/apps like "Rivali OV1 Info app 4.1"? This app is not bad in overall visual and information displayed (except DRS indicator), but, unfortunately, is already outdated and begins to freeze sometimes the game.
Now I'm use Sidekisk - he is certainly good, yes, but, in my opinion, there isn’t enough customization and indeed it’s just visually "rude".

Yeah I know where they are on the model, what I need to know where they are in real life because I don't want to leave the road completely flat.

For now I'd recommend keeping the old mesh somewhere for reference, then modify a copy for the track to tone down the most extreme, sharp bumps. Then you can get feedback from a local driver that's more familiar with it.

I have just installed the Ferrari 488 GT3 ACC mode and I cannot launch it.

What does this error message mean?

I use CSP 0.1.52 + SOL 1.5.1

Thank you in advance for your help !

Hello Guys, does someone have some original Skins for the Aston Martin Lola LMP1? I know some are at Racedepartement, but only fictional and the one from Kronos Racing. Would be amazing to find the Gulf one's or the Signature Plus Team

RD must be experiencing issues, or everyone's downloading at once. I'm getting excruciatingly slow download speed--estimated 20-30 minutes.

I have a fiber optic connection and other downloads are instantaneous, so it's definitely not on my end.

Sorry about that, again not a lot I can do - hopefully you find it worth the wait, just do a few laps of the Nurburgring to pass the time!

Does anyone know the exact cars historically in the same grid as the Kunos 190E DTM and E30 M3 DTM? (is the 155 in it?)
And is there mods for them (I got the R32, a very old Sierra DTM mod lacking in exterior sound and physics and power) there should be an Audi V8, Foxbody Mustang and an Opel of some sort right??

Also, I am collecting street versions of them so I can throw them all into one competition to duke it out, so far missing a stock 5.0 Foxbody Mustang and not sure which Opel should be relevant (and a Sierra RS500 Cosworth mod that is also very outdated, want to see if anyone sourced an updated version of this too), and the 190E Evo II street version mod I got is too stable and sturdy IMO, as reference videos shown it IRL should be quite wobbly around corners instead of very planted:

But most importantly, the 155Q4 is way out of pace in the street homologated DTM grid, and hopefully a mod of this: will be more on par with the others

No Alfa 155 was not their competitor, Alfa 75 was, and Ford Sierra RS500, Vauxhall Cavalier, Audi quattro V8 and Ford Mustang for example. There is no Audi sadly, but here are the skins for BMW, Sierra and Alfa 75 (also links for Sierra and Alfa cars in readme). This three were running in WTCC 1987 together. It is an excellent championship when you put them together and can drive all three of them, they are all fun. I guess you could put 190e in there aswell. Not historically corect, but it's there, there spec wise:

Here is my BOP if you want:

And Cavalier was made by Shaun Clarke both 1990, which is relevant here, and also 1995, which is not. Both are great cars:

If you have the Simdream legends packs, here is my BOPs for BTCC 1991 season, where you can drive with the bmw, cavalier or Sierra and use Simdream cars for filling up the field. Skins for BMW are also available on Race department:

For early 90s DTM and both Mercedes and BMW, there is no Audi sadly, so anything you put together will be incomplete. There is also no Mustang and no Opel Omega. Other cars that are available are i guess Miitsubishi Starion Race and some others as well. Search for Group A cars from late 80s.

Nicely done.
One remark (don't know hot it is IRL): when entering pit lane there is a big bump.

Stay at home, wash your hands... :D
I hope we can get rid of these signs soon... but we're not there yet...

Do anybody else have a strange gearbox in the A45? My max speed in 6th gear is 43 km/h. The AI dont have any problem driving the car. Very strange!

Same issue here. The Vauxhaul also seems to be slightly quicker than Shaun Clarke's BTCC cars, so a bit of BoP might help. My testing consisted of a few laps around Brands Hatch Indy and I'm about 1 second faster in the Vauxhaul than any of the others. It mostly comes down to easier handling, moreso than actual speed.

Thanks! Job well done. Looks and especially feels great. The G forces through the high speed corners . Great work-out.
Only thing that happened was an error after pushing the F3 TV cam. Not an issue but just to let you know.

PS That balloons fiesta is great! In standard cockpit view I missed them but when changing view in replay it was overwhelmingly gorgeous fun to watch.

Yeah there is no replay cameras yet, this is probably why the crash occurred. There will be replay cameras in the 1.0 release. Thanks for spotting the issue :D

Certainly no fault of your own. RD has been having issues the past week or so.

I installed it. Very good version at this stage. I forgot how "old school" this track is with it's insanely long curves and the challenge of trying to find the most efficient line and regulate the throttle throughout the turn to hit each "mark" for an optimal time. The real track is definitely hard on tires, especially on the left side of the car.

To be a little overly critical, the only significant thing I noticed is that the track limits are VERY generous, and there isn't any audible cue when you drop a wheel off the pavement. If you get your line and speed wrong, at the very least, you should hear dirt and rocks on the undercarriage when you go off the edge of the track, or be penalized when you go completely outside (all four wheels) the white line and onto the rough desert surface. Currently, you can go about 2-3 car widths off the pavement, not hear any change is surface audio, and do this without any penalty, and it doesn't slow the car.

The track could look a little more worn with additional cracks and rough pavement edges, but you're going so fast, it's something you don't really notice.

Excellent stuff! Nice warm fuzzy GT memories came flooding back on the first lap. You've captured the ambience brilliantly. Looking forward to racing it in VR once the Rift is up and running again... hopefully.

Nice use of my balloon fiesta mod too - it was wide open tracks like this I had in mind when I originally put it together. Do you want me to do some more appropriate USA racing scene balloons to replace a few of the Asian/Euro ones in there? I've done a few already but never got around to updating the resource. Autobacs and Petronas doesn't really suit Willow Springs, lol. Sunoco and Dr Pepper are probably more California.

Please do! I'd love to include some more location appropriate ones in the 1.0 release :D
