https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/horizon-immersive-mod.32330/ now this is something I've wanted ever since SOL was introduced to the game

You did ?
Tbh, after looking at the awful preview pics, I did not feel the need to download that. Don't know what it is supposed to do ? Just blur the background to give a speed impression ?

I honestly don't know what this does. I mean most of those images can be achieved with the new photo mode and DOF so is it a ppfilter that creates this effect? I'm gonna pass on this as my game is looking good as it is currently set up and I don't wanna mess with it again.

Both these methods require adjustment as your end figure is always power at the wheels. The figure CM shows when you update the data is correct. I just make my own curves now it saves a bit of time. What you can do is just import the power.lut into excel or similar spreadsheet and then take away your drive-train loss in percentage and export the revised figures back into power.lut. It takes a bit of fiddling around but works well.

Transmission loss is a bit of a mystery though, some say AC uses 13% right across the board, others say up to 20% loss on AWD cars. I've also read that it uses a formula that takes lots of variables into consideration from the data folder to come up with a final figure. It would be good if anyone could show some actual figures that the AC engine uses to work out this loss though rather than just "educated" guesses?

EDIT:

I assume the figures you are found are at the crank, in my experience nearly all figures quoted are measured that way unless they specifically state at the wheels.

Thanks to both of you. I'll try the calculator on Ilja's site. To be honest it creates the same power curves as the other when I input the numbers, but seems to be more adjustable. Somehow I've managed to massively underpower the R10 in testing anyway. Think i've got the turbo values all squiffy. As I'm learning I guess its just going to be trial and error until it feels right.

Great track thanks! Just a quick note to not use capital letters in track/car folder names. It stops CM from recording statistics. Unless of course this has been updated with the recent spate of CM updates we've all had but I haven't noticed anything in the changelogs.

Thank you I never knew this, so it have to be "aa_adriaraceway" folder name right?

Don't know if this affecting only me or others people too (and if its the same problem that @Masscot had. But this happens with singapore 2020 (Adria latest version too).

Basically till around 20 in the evening, with onboard cameras everyhting works fine, from that time to the morning, onboard cameras are completely black screen. Only by changing the onboard camera to chase one, blacks go away.

EDIT: latest version of Leipzig Porsche uploaded here same have the same issue, but from another hour of starting for the problem (21.10 circa)

Also (other problem not related to the top one) on every track looks like that with SOL or CSP (don't know if it's normal or not) the car looks like emitting light (the orange of the skin looks extremely brilliant and it looks like there's a glow effect to my eyes).

Would you mind try this file temporarily?

BLM1.15.2
Being cautiously optimistic (because there was a little 'hesitation' after the loading phase), but this seems to do the trick.
I tried several cars and each time I could start driving from the first try... :)

Before Trying I removed the files from the ***:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\assettocorsa\extension\config\tracks

Thanks, so lets rename all my tracks T_T.
Imo just the folder name is enough. I use Total Commander to rename all new cars and track folders to lower case ones and it´s really quick and easy made.
Just crtl+a, ctrl+m and change "upper/lowercase" to "All lowercase" and voilà it´s done. :)

@damone13x as soon I´m as I´m getting well, I´m curious for your newest update. For sure, it´s marvelous. 👍
Thx for the nice work you done and shared with us.

I was having the same problem as @Fanapryde , I thought I'd reported also but must have forgotten! Anyway this file fixes it for me too, also with the hesitation. I think this is purely to do with BLM app. I've had the hesitation for a while now. Will do more testing.

I'm assuming the "REM=" you have removed from the ini file was causing the conflict here?

I'm pleased to here I'm not the only one using Total Commander! I've used it since when it was called Windows Commander. It's a very powerful tool indeed, handy for comparing file differences such as @jk0011 's new ini config vs. the old one ;)

Hello all, just download this nice looking car but hit this, is there any easy fix ?

Just gonna add my 2 cents here and say WOW - this is such an awesome trtack. Everything works for me and no crashes or errors when I finished my session. Night looks amazing and all the lights seem to work. I'm not running BLM lights but I am using this ext_config so obviously I can't say if it fixed anything as this is the first time I tried out your track. I did only get around 50fps but I'm not on the fastest system so it's all good. And I was running a grid of 20 cars ;)
Now I just need to learn how to drive it properly.
Absolutely amazing job mate

Final version of my Adria conversion. Added dynamic groove and 2 basic cameras. Enjoy.

Thank you slider666 for encouraging me to improve this track.

I appreciate the work and updates.

The road mesh for this track has some major issues that violently toss cars around, especially those with tighter suspensions, like GT3 and open-wheel cars. The track surface needs bumps in the right place, but these are almost like spikes in the mesh. Even the straight has issues. In VR, the "jumps" become so violent on a few sections of the track, I think I'm having a seizure.

Address this issue, and it will go from being a good track, to an excellent track.

I need to look into Total Commander. I've been using Code Compare along with Visual Code studio for all my INI editing

It's absolutely worth it. Basically an old school style file manager with tons of functionality.

@jk0011 Just removed BLM Lights and I have no hesitation at all now and the old ini config works, so I'm guessing when BLM parses the ext_config.ini file, it throws a fit when it finds parts it doesn't like!

I have the same issue with a couple of cars amd also would like to know how to fix

These are more likely old cars? The fix would be to turn the offending glass transparent as it will be set to opaque. Export to FBX with CM, fix objects in KSEditor and remake KN5. Or a quicker fix is using 3DSimEd but be careful of breaking other things with that, make backups.

Yeah, I was very surprised he got stress with Micro$oft because he named it "Windows Commander", so he had to rename it to avoid legal stress, but imo one of the best file managers. Nice to ear you use it too. :) 👍
I bought 9 licenses for our old company "centuries" ago. :)

Imo a way easier prog to compare files: Meld
And the best, you can just drag´n´drop files into it on the Total Commander button bar. :)
Even comparing 3 files, directories is possible. :)
And the way to transfer the amendments just by clicking on the arrows (left/right) is a immensly time and labour saving. :)

Edit: sorry of going a bit off topic, but helping getting mods faster and easier done, could be also on topic from that point of view... ;)

And I thought this was easy:

I'll give your Meld a try, thanks!

Does anyone know the exact cars historically in the same grid as the Kunos 190E DTM and E30 M3 DTM? (is the 155 in it?)
And is there mods for them (I got the R32, a very old Sierra DTM mod lacking in exterior sound and physics and power) there should be an Audi V8, Foxbody Mustang and an Opel of some sort right??

Also, I am collecting street versions of them so I can throw them all into one competition to duke it out, so far missing a stock 5.0 Foxbody Mustang and not sure which Opel should be relevant (and a Sierra RS500 Cosworth mod that is also very outdated, want to see if anyone sourced an updated version of this too), and the 190E Evo II street version mod I got is too stable and sturdy IMO, as reference videos shown it IRL should be quite wobbly around corners instead of very planted:

But most importantly, the 155Q4 is way out of pace in the street homologated DTM grid, and hopefully a mod of this: will be more on par with the others

Thanks for replying yeah I notice it with the open wheelers the good is that I can smooth the road mesh, the thing is that I don't know where the actual bumps and cracks are and since it's a conversion I left the road as is. If you can point me where they are i can start trying to sort it out.
