I found a Toyota Tacoma mod on there that looked awesome but never could actually download. You have to have a Chinese phone number to be able to download from the site.
Can you just Google a Chinese phone number like people Google US addresses/zip codes when buying digital content from US online stores?

Unfortunately requires phone verification. Tried for hours to figure out away around it but unless you know someone in China, you're kinda out of luck

^^ Ah, I see.

OK, last post on my CPU performance as this probably isn't the right place (although the CSP is technically a mod... probably the biggest one ever) but after disabling the CSP I've now reactivated it (not changing anything, all settings and apps as before) and I've gained a ton of performance back, probably now back to how it was.
So, seems like the simple act of 'resetting' the CSP has cleared whatever gremlins were munching on my CPU.
I've got a horrible feeling I might have even advocated doing this a long while ago when a similar issue occurred. Single malt is certainly a destroyer of brain cells.

Nice little new track by Chinese modders Polycode.
RuiSi (circuit and drag)

This track won't load now that I've reactivated CSP. It worked fine without the CSP.
Anyone else?

edit:
**DIABLE 'MERGE MESHES' IN CM GPU OPTIMISATIONS IF THE TRACK WON'T LOAD**

Thanks to @Fall Guy for the suggestion - I should have remembered this from work on Maple Valley, lol.

Sorry for being a little bit late with this, but here is the first part of my Pit Boxes Extension Project:

Southern Europe Trackpack, including the following tracks:
- Circuit de l'Anneau du Rhin 2016 by Rainmaker -> Pits extended from 22 to 32
- Circuit de Ledenon 2008 by Philcout, Piaoo, Thesky, Pset, nobody and Sliderman -> Pits extended from 23 to 32
- Valencia Street Circuit by ACU -> Pits extended from 22 to 32
- Monaco 2017 by PatrikPat -> Pits extended from 22 to 28
- Fiorano 2017 by PatrikPat -> Pits extended from 10 to 30
- Aviano Circuit by PatrikPat -> Pits extended from 22 to 30
- Milan Castello Street Circuit by Assetto Corsa Fanboy -> Pits extended from 22 to 32
- Autodromo di Aosta by Jean-baptiste F. -> Pits extended from 20 to 30

I created separate layouts for all these tracks with extended pit boxes and start positions. Just download and drop into your track file, it won't overwrite anything. You do need the have the original track though.

If you don't have some of these tracks, there are links to download them in the Readme files. Get them first and then install my pits extension.

IMPORTANT: Please make sure to read the "Important - readme first" files, just to avoid any problems.

NOTE: I don't guarantee that your system will handle all this tracks with extra AI cars, for example mine can handle around 23-25 AI cars and that's it.

Big thanks to:
@slider666 for teaching me how to add pits properly and helping with various problems and questions, it wouldn't be possible without his help!
@Fanapryde for taking the time to create previews for each track, it's a huge Quality of Life improvement.
@LiquidSkyMan for doing his AI magic, which will be a part of the next Trackpacks and also providing me with some excellent music to listen to while modding :)

I will release 3 more Trackpacks, next one will be called "Northern Europe" and will include 8 tracks as well. I should post it in the following few days :)
It would be great if you could make pits extensions for Bahrain and Shanghai to 30 or more pits

Working for me with CSP. Maybe it's related to a specific setting? My computer is a potato, so I'm careful about which features are turned on or not.

Love the little drones flying around, though!

No, that was already deactivated, but thanks for the suggestion.

I disabled the CSP completely and am now easily getting over 45fps constantly in VR (so meeting the 45fps threshold for ASW to be on all the time, with room to spare) - and this is with 40 cars on track. CPU occupancy ~80%.
Man, it looked smooth as silk and just ... solid.

With CSP on in my last test I was getting 23fps with eight cars on track, CPU occupancy 99%-100%.
So something in the CSP is absolutely sucking all the life out of my CPU.

Know what? Vanilla AC (still launched through CM) looked pretty damn good. The only thing I missed was 3D mirrors in VR. The rest - 3D grass, water shaders (which always have weird reflection artifacts anyway), Sol etc etc - I could easily live without if it means smooth and rock-solid performance with huge grids. OK, the CSP and it's shader enhancements does make the game look better, but vanilla AC was never ugly to begin with. Even the default weather and lighting looks good.
I guess the only problem with disabling the CSP (at least until I find what's eating my CPU) is that more and more mods actually need the CSP to work.

do you use 3d clouds ? if yes, passed on 2d clouds, 3d clouds are very greedy

Thank you for transmitting the links for the circuits.

For Monaco 2017 by PatrikPat I note that the digital flags do not work (the light is always white)

Is this normal or is it a bug?
I checked and you are right, the digital flags seem to be broken on both the original and my layout. Unfortunately I don't know how to fix this :/

While going back to an old mod from BZ Simworks, the Acura NSX FE-BZ (v1.55), I saw that head lights are always on. When I push the light button, only dashboard light goes on and off. As this group is behind a private facebook group and that I don't want to go on facebook, I don't know if a fix has been made.
Does someone know how to fix it ?

Sorry replying to myself but at least it makes the post understandable.

So after multiple try I've been able to fully fix the car.
first to remove constant headlight apply the following (in CSP ini file)
;[LIGHT_HEADLIGHT_0] <- allow to remove that section
[LIGHT_EXTRA_1]
BIND_TO_HEADLIGHTS=1 <- switch on/off with light button on your wheel

and add the following (front leds are always on without glowing too much on track and are a little bit brighter when headlight are on, same color than what BZ made in lights.ini)

[EMISSIVE_LIGHT_0]
COLOR=200,200,2100
OFF_COLOR=200,200,500,0.5
LAG=0
LOCATION=FRONT
NAME=headlightl_a_SUB9
SIMULATE_HEATING=0.0
BIND_TO_HEADLIGHTS=0

[EMISSIVE_LIGHT_1]
COLOR=200,200,2100
OFF_COLOR=200,200,500,0.5
LAG=0
LOCATION=FRONT
NAME=headlightr_a_SUB9
SIMULATE_HEATING=0.0
BIND_TO_HEADLIGHTS=0

Still not able to fully understand how CSP ini file works but it's a start :)

There already exists a version of Bahrain with 34 pits created by @jk0011

It's the best version of Bahrain International Circuit you will find, absolutely stunning.

I checked and you are right, the digital flags seem to be broken on both the original and my layout. Unfortunately I don't know how to fix this :/

Thank you for your reply.

Maybe a specialist in digital flags will be able to fix it?

I've just swapped the physics of the Rollovers' Cadillac DPi to the GTPlanet's ones... and boys it is so nice to have the best of both world! Already 1k logged on that car in a single day :gtpflag: Thank you guys

I was hoping to do this myself with the rollovers DPi's but never got round to do it myself not gonna lie

Err I updated my Alfa skins and made them 8k - no idea why as I would never be able to run 8k in a million years but they do look great in CM showroom....so anyways I wanted to upload em along with the fixed kn5 as a complete mod (as long as @GIBBONS is happy for me to do that) but when I checked the folder size its 2.5GB - let me say that again 2.5GB - and that's pretty much all in the skins folder. So I think I'll remove the 8k skins unless someone really wants them and just upload the 4k versions. If anyone wants 2k one's I can do that too.

Gunnar333 (Borgloh, Goodwood) is currently working on a completely new mod! Be excited!

Nice! Never knew that you are located in Hohenstein-Ernstthal! I come from Annaberg which is only a few minutes away. :)

Reg. the initial question: I got a Sachsenring update provided by Fuzo from TMM modding some weeks ago, with some graphical updates and stuff. Not sure if it was intended to share it to the public. He told me he will release it in the future on his website but seems it hasn´t been brought to light yet.

@Masscot will you add some rims options for your 992? It's will be awesome to have different options.

It's not my car, I just found it. There are black rim options here if you look back a day or two.

Are you on the whiskey already? This looks really good - I'm getting the impression you are a tiny bit excited for this track :D

Ha ha.! It's early even for me. Just fiddling around with PS in between balloons for WS.

Have you tried to disable "merge meshes" in CSP General Settings and then re-load the track?

Good thinking - I'll give that a try.

Also, this is new to me, but not new, so might be not new to you, but: vintage Daytona (the beach run).
