OK so the Monaco 66 track.
Has one camera already with the track, so i did 2 more. 2nd one of mine is basically just a closer version of 1st one for hot laps etc.
Enjoy.
Forgive me but not sure where it was posted originally as someone PM'd me the track.

Quite fiddly this one for some reason but overall pretty chuffed.

A taste.

'txt' to 'ini' and pop them into the track DATA folder... doesn't effect the camera already present...

These are extremely useful. I run all my fields with 24 cars and some of these tracks, before you expanded them, could not be used. Hopefully USA and western Europe are also in the works.
I also always run my field with 24 cars, that is why every track I edited has at least 24 pits :)

I will release North American Trackpack as well, which will contain 7 tracks from USA and 1 from Canada, but unfortunately I did not work on any of the Eastern Europe tracks. Would you like to name a few that you think could use some pits extensions?

Hey Safi, you're doing great work with these cameras.
Have you thought of uploading them all as a pack to RD, then updating the resource as you do new ones like @Fanapryde does with his origin icons?
I'm sure a lot of prople would appreciate having good cameras for these lesser-known mod tracks.

Yes I am thinking of that. Just trying to get around the logistics of it. Obviously the whole 'txt' to 'ini' would be a pain, so i'd have to upload as a mega or something?

I'm working this way with my 'corner names' (track descriptions) on RD.
I do provide the install tree:
trackname > (layout name if needed) > data > .....
Keep a copy on my HD, so it's easy to add things for updates.

RD does the hosting, just compress the files and upload.

You upload the actual files to RD and they do the hosting - no need for Mega, Mediafire etc.
Also no need to upload as .txt, of course. That's just a limit with this forum and how files are shared quickly in a post.

↓↓↓ No longer the case, although it is a 49C ↓↓↓
Saying "Thanks a lot" is not enough mate!
Your Lotus 49C is a masterpiece, and I'm not the kind of guy to say that for anything.

Till you made it, the only vintage F1's cars that convinced me were the ones from Kunos: Lotus 25, 49, 72D and Ferrari 312/67, 312/T.

For me nothing compare to 72D (best F1 ever), 49 and 312/67, until now!
Your 49C will go to my "collection": just a few I don't got a lot of cars, I'm really, really selective with cars...

The behavior is incredible, your car got the behavior that it supposed to have on paper, really!
You made calculations? Are you a mechanical voodoo engineer?
It's really a winged 49, better downforce, so you can take curb faster in the interior, in straight line, you do not have the kind of "blur" in the direction and so much more details...
Also the lap time, just like in reality, I improve my lap time of 1 sec on Monza junior 1966, what i expect, sometimes times mod's car give you 10 sec better lap for an evolution of the same car, not real

Did I say that I enjoy it a lot?
You made my day and my tomorrow too, and my after tomorrow too, and...

Ok I stop, thanks!

Hey lads, I have a bit of a problem with a car - the Multipla GT3 someone uploaded on FB awhile back.

Tried to make a 'Supervan F1' spec (for myself) by lifting some elements (drivetrain, power.lut, engine, gears...) from the Supervan III, everything goes well - drives well and looks alright in CM :

OHKCArE.png

Then whenever I enter a race, it just... Well look at that mess :

82nHQsD.jpg

I have no clue as to why it does that. Does anyone know why? As I said I haven't touched the suspensions file - same as the base mod (which doesn't have this problem), and the data.acd has been removed (no interference).

hi mate, the "in-game" graphic geometry for tyre is handled by "suspensions.ini" inside the data.vcd file

[GRAPHICS_OFFSETS]
WHEEL_LF=-0 ;Left front graphical offset of the wheel positioning in the x axis (width). + is left - is right movement
SUSP_LF=-0 ;Left front graphical offset of the suspension positioning in the x axis (width). + is left - is right movement
WHEEL_RF=0 ; Right front as above
SUSP_RF=0 ; Right front as above
WHEEL_LR=0 ; Left rear as above
SUSP_LR=-0.0 ; Left rear as above
WHEEL_RR=-0 ; Right rear as above
SUSP_RR=0.0 ; Right rear as above

Monza 66 Updated, Using only Kunos element and BTB to redone some fences that follow the mesh. Thank to CSV files haha
The Kunos Monza 66 is quite innacurate compared to his brother of rFactor 2, lot of things and missing and details are quite off.

Inner lesmos rail added, Spectators fences in the last part added, to delimitate the spectator zone, some tress deleted in parabolica and some addedto match the reality of 60's.
The terrain map need adjustement for the shadows, I will do it tonnight, I will add too the oval part and overhaul some vegetations in this part aswell.

A 1962 Version is in project aswell and maybe a 1970 too, with rails added, Btb is quite usefull to make it correctly
Fantastic work, thanks a lot, if I remind well, the layout in monza was the same from 1955 to 1971, so the 1970 should be the same as the 1966's one that you have already improved!
One layout, that is really fun and do not exist at all is the 74/75 layout, same as 1966 + Ascari S (variante ascari), the ones that we still have today in the current version of monza, the 72/73 introduce for the first time ascari, but it wasn't the one we know, it was not so fun, really hard break before entering in and strange curb, so they modify it in 73 for 74/75, after, from 1976, it's the one that we got in monza 1988, the layout use from 1976 to 1993.

Monza 1955-1971
Monza 1966 GP.gif

Monza 1974-1975
Monza 1974 GP.gif

The straight line is not exactly the same, more close to the pitlanes and there was a small chicane at the end of the straight line (variante), but the biggest change is the variante ascari.

A "copy/paste" of it from kunos monza in kunos monza 1966 and you almost got the layout! :)
Really, really an awesome layout, it adds just what monza 1966 need, 2 chicanes for more variety, and like for monaco 1975, it would be the first time in simracing history that we could drive it!

Your improved version of Monza 1966 and GZeroD's Lotus 49C, you made my day too mate! Thanks a lot :)

Is this related to syncing RHM with CM? I use RHM separate from CM. I set my view, then I activate RHM. No problem for me to change the pitch angle.
I'm not sure... I have RHM synced to CM, but I use RHM only to stabilise the horizon, nothing else. Before I had them synced I could not use the pitch angle either, unless I did not start RHM.

Yes I am thinking of that. Just trying to get around the logistics of it. Obviously the whole 'txt' to 'ini' would be a pain, so i'd have to upload as a mega or something?
You made folders like this "name_of_your_mod/content/tracks/name_of_the track/data/camerab.ini" then you add to rar and upload it to rd, this is what i have done for the TV cam for kyalami 2019.

in 2018 i've worked on a personal version of indy500 (never shared with anyone) based on someone else (don't remember who) never finished work. Is not perfect, i never finished it (i don't know how to model stuff unfortunately). But it has a road mesh (as far as i remember), 3dgrass and replay cameras (i have to fix the S/F ones). Ai works fine for me. If anyone knows how to make lights (where possibile) and add crowd (if i not remember bad i didn't add them because of fps drops for the huge amount of people i've added XD) i can share it (in fact you can open the track and update it anyway). As far as i remember all the parts (includeed the gp zone) are ok, but they needs to be developed with AI and relative stuff in order to complete the track.

Here's a replay of an onboard lap and one from the replay cams

Not using RHM, but make sense...I used opentrack for trackIR, so, I suspect have to be related to opentrack after using it, maybe changed something in assetto corsa? Thank you for your help Fanapryde I will investigate...
Solved!!! in my case the program opentrack-2.3.11 for trackIR was causing this issue, uninstalling opentrack solves it!! Thanks Fanapryde

Had that problem with the R390 GT1 - Car Tuner duplicated it but it was unusable. Or some others crashed the app - so aye, it doesn't work all the time.

I just do it manually anyway so am sure it'll 100% work.

So this is one of those weird situations with this game then when different setups produce different results, I've created car tuner copies of both the R390 road and race car without any issues whatsoever.

Here is the third part of my Pit Boxes Extension Project:

Oceanic Trackpack, including the following tracks:
- Adelaide 2011 by Tewie and Rainmaker -> pits extended from 23 to 28
- Ruapuna Park 2012 by Hugh Jarse, NeelJ and Rainmaker -> pits extended from 22 to 30
- Pukekohe Park 2013 by R1CHO and Rainmaker -> pits extended from 21 to 24 (sorry about this one being only +3 pits, had some troubles)
- Hidden Valley Raceway by Rainmaker and Joshuax -> pits extended from 22 to 32
- Symmons Plains by Terra21 -> pits extended from 20 to 34
- Wakefield Park by The-IC -> pits extended from 18 to 30

Just 6 tracks and sometimes not many more extra pits, I know this is not a big deal, but maybe someone will find them useful :)

I created separate layouts for all these tracks with extended pit boxes and start positions. Just download and drop into your track file, it won't overwrite anything. You do need the have the original track though.

If you don't have some of these tracks, there are links to download them in the Readme files. Get them first and then install my pits extension.

IMPORTANT: Please make sure to read the "Important - readme first" files, just to avoid any problems.

NOTE: I don't guarantee that your system will handle all this tracks with extra AI cars, for example mine can handle around 23-25 AI cars and that's it.

Big thanks to:
@slider666 for teaching me how to add pits properly and helping with various problems and questions, it wouldn't be possible without his help!
@Fanapryde for taking the time to create previews for each track, it's a huge Quality of Life improvement.
@LiquidSkyMan for doing his AI magic and also providing me with some excellent music to listen to while modding :)

I will release 3 more Trackpacks, next one will be called "Eastern Asia Trackpack" and will include 5 tracks from Japan, China and Macau. I should post it in the next few days :)

Here are the links to the other pits extensions I made:
Northern Europe Trackpack (including Jyllands-Ringen):

Southern Europe Trackpack:

Have a nice day

If you're open to requests, it'd be great to have all the F1 1988 tracks extended to 26 slots, as that would be the right number to run a full grid...
Adelaide currently has 22
Detroit 24
Estoril 25
Hermanos Rodriguez 24
Hockenheim, Montreal and Monaco have more than enough
Hungaroring 23
Imola 22
Jacarepagua 19
Jerez 22
Monza 21
Paul Ricard 21
Silverstone 24
Spa 22
Suzuka 21

is there any V8 sound that is the closest resemblance of the Lexus ISF, RCF, LC500? And is there any 06 Audi RS4 mod with accurate sound and physics? Thank you

I updated the Ford Mustang GT4 rearlights, To be honest I'm not sure if this is accurate to the real Mustang GT4, but I try to replicate the rearlights of ACL TA '65 Ford Mustang. It looks a lot more modern to me. What do you think of it?

Also updated the pit lights.

Looks good! But is inaccurate as far as how they light up on the real car. I know GZeroD had them the same way as you. All of the lights illuminate when turned on.

Either way, if that's how you like em or anyone else does? Go for it :) best part about modding is there no one right solution when it comes to preference :)

Another great track which i just don't use enough.
Mantorp Park. I am pretty sure if you search on here you will find it if you don't already have it. ...
Hopefully these are getting a bit smoother now as i have understood an error i was making...

Sorry, I totally forgotten I was working on that track. I don´t know who made the "official" config on github, but it´s a very basic grass config which even disables a lot of objects on track.
I began to fix it a while ago, but as mentioned forgotten it... :(

Now with your new cameras I remembered it again and finished it so far. :)
  • missing objects are back now (trees and original 3D grass for example)
  • new grass with flowers
  • new water
  • a few lights
  • overall contrast and brightness adjustments
  • very quickly made vao-patch
Extract mantorp.zip into AC root folder. The old grass config is still in config\tracks\loaded\
If you don´t want 2 different ones, move my new one into loaded folder and overwrite old one.
It´s just the config ini and a vao-patch in the file. The track itself you should already it before or search for it. :)
Take a quick race before and after installing it. ;)

I don´t say it´s better just different. ;)
Maybe I could make the grass brighter again, trees too? Looking a images from that track, took me to this darker look. :)
Hope you enjoy it...

Thx for your cameras @safi hellie and japp, they could be a bit more user friendly to install, but otherwise very nice at all. :)

Edit: images are
  • without old ini
  • with old ini
  • with new ini
  • some new lights
  • and the little water pond as extra eye candy

Edit: new updated version here:

Forgive me for thinking that in the 1988 season there were 31 drivers registered in the championship for a total of 18 teams on the track if we want to reproduce the pits needed to do the 1988 re-enactment seem to me a little few . He thinks that whoever’s on the air has to take two pit lane seats.

Well said. It's cool to have others appreciate your work but ultimately it's your car, track, etc. You build it for your own enjoyment first and if others don't like it, they don't need to use it. Now, if you have a paying client then that's a whole different kettle of fish.

Am I correct in thinking these same changes can be done in CM Showroom using the Align Using Data function?
