Gave skinning a bit of a go, albeit in a fairly unorthodox fashion. Both of these are just modified versions of the AKR racing skins, though some sponsor logs have been altered. The Coles Express logo, for example, is now much more pronounced. I've also altered the names and numbers on both the car itself and the 'ui_skin,json' file, while the rear wing of the #12 has also been changed to white, as it was yellow on the AKR skin.

Amazing ,Thank you ! are you planing on any more ????

Don't wanna repeat myself, but it's sad what ASR is doing.... I took 2 screenshots at the end of Mugello Straight: VRC Jordan 191 and ASR Jordan 191. VRC did over 300kph. ASR did 276kph. And their vintage cars are cornering almost like the RSS2020. I don't know what is going on with ASR....
ASR has sadly become more focused on quantity over quality, the amount of unfinished mods on their site kinda saddens me tbh

The man is Cary Grant. A very famous actor who, quite aside from being a major film star, was also on long personal quest to understand the human condition and unravel his own 'issues', with the help of LSD and psychotherapy.

There are many anrgy people on sim racing forums who could use such therapy :embarrassed:

I don't know why but I thought it was James Stewart for the longest time

Well here you go chaps

RADICAL SR3 V1.4

This version has been updated with the help of Radical driver @Kevin Burke using his real AIM data and AIM data he took from the mod. I have listened to all his comments and suggestions and all the back and forth of making changes and finally getting his thumbs up.

Hope you all enjoy

Regards

Shaun
Shaun, something, that interest me a lot and may be others, would be some feedback from the driver about the differents sounds he hears when he drives it on track.
What I mean, could he gives us, some values for the different sounds in game to reproduce at home a real SR3 drive on track:
Sound level of:
-the engine
-wind
-tyres
-opponents
-dirt
-surfaces
-transmission
To be as close as possible to reality
Would be great :)
Thanks in advance

Not as far as I know, as this would have to come from Brum, as so many leagues use this.

Which layout are you referring to?

I see the following in an included README from a revision made in version 2.0.

"Made penalties more consistent with Kunos tracks. No penalties for running onto grass, but added specific 'no-cut' areas at the chicane and apexes of certain corners"

The mesh names of the specific "cut" areas are apparent when reviewing the surfaces.ini file.

thanks guys, i'll just need to stay honest then ;) it's the National layout

What version of the track do you use? I have 0.5 - and that is simply horrible. ACF's version is better, but still bad. It is available in his folder: https://mega.nz/folder/d8RmGIDa#eNn1zMIK-Y9gAukU5zxsvg
Thank for the link, just downloading it..... I was putting together a British track season for Shaun's Radical SR3. When checking out my Mallory Park v.5 which looks to me to be a WIP gone dead, I thought to myself, I daren't use this track in our league, I'll get marched out-of-town....lol

Thanks for the heads up, I didn't want to be rude but yeah it's not that good is it - I'll have a search for the ACF version & give that a try.
Well, the ACF version, while clearly better, still isn't very good (yet?). But since it is the only available decent version I kept this one.

I think this may just be a bug with the last couple of CSP builds. A few things are buggy right now, including FXAA basically not working at all. I'm just leaving my track/car files alone rather than changing anything, because I figure this will get addressed sooner or later. (Hopefully sooner!)

Yea, that's one of the last possibilities. I'm still on 0.1.52. There's 8 newer versions if you can recommend any?

Anyone else having troubles with CM as of yesterday ? It's slow as **** , becomes unresponsive / crashes a lot and all that pleasant stuff. Upgraded ma CSP to 1.52 three days ago so maybe there's a correlation there, I don't know.

It happens to me too, it's slow beyond measure.

Glad to see that I'm not the only one affected.

Anyway - here's a wee skin for the Holden Commodore that was posted some pages ago (not the ATCC Group A mod), a not-that-perfect recreation of the Holden Commodore VK SS Group A :

One of my favourite car in FM7. A shame that there's no stock version in AC (couldn't find one).

What you show in the screenshots looks very much like one of the most amazing features of the SOL mod.
Depending on the actual weather you will see changes in how light scatters through the atmosphere due to particles in the air (such as very high humidity, haze, dust particles, etc).
Either you have selected:
- one of the weather types such as hazy or misty or dusty, etc ...
- a dynamic weather profile within the Sol weather app (which changed to one of the weather types mentioned)
- have ticked "Real conditions" in the Drive menu (which if weather reports of the actual location of the track shows one of the weather types)

I love how extremely realistic everything looks now with CSP and SOL and how I can simply hit the "Real conditions" button at my local race track in CM and THE EXACT WEATHER and atmospheric conditions are shown in the session as what I see when looking out of the window - I love this ;-)

Yeah this is amazing, but I've tried yet all this things and I've selected clear or few clouds and again... honestly, I don't know why, also tried changing sol settings o "back to default" but nothing changed. It seams quite foggy nothing I can do, my bad. Thanks for your reply by the way.:cheers:
