Really loving your latest cams @safi hellie, they really have came a long way. Can I make simple request? I tend to download in batches and then install stuff at a later time. When it comes to your cams, I can never tell from the filename or the content which track they are for so have to dig back through here. Could you possible name the files the same as the track folder or include full folder structure inside? No big deal if not!

Yep will do, makes sense.👍

I'm a n00b at this, where exactly is the slider? I want a PPfilter that works well with new tracks and the older tracks without looking all washed out, like the 1988 mod tracks do, when using PPfilters.
Depends on your version of SOL. Go for a drive and bring the right hand side menu up, then click SOL_CONFIG and go to page 16 (SOL 1.5) or 17 (SOL 1.6) and you'll see it in there.

How the hell you got a photo of me, playing several years ago?

You absolute hero. Cheers mate.

Wish the Ford Fairlane Thunderbolt, Country Squire and Dodge Coronet W023 were ported to AC. Marvelous machines.

Do you mean this?

News from the front - only ever make mods for "Return on investment" and then tell people they're "Stealing" after they download your mod you posted to a public forum for mods

Oh my God I'm crying this is so funny!!!!

@Teddie thanks for your Jerez1988. A general tip - maybe no one knows - I would always recommend to check "TA exposure fix" on page 17 of SOL config. It always is set to 100%. The changes are done track-wise and stored into an track config. In your case I have set it from 100% to 25% (the lowest). See here, the difference needs no further explanation:

100% (default)

Just fiddle around with the values as your monitor is set up. And as I wrote, the changes you do are track-wise.
You are an absolute life saver. I have certain circuits I love but very rarely drive as they need adjustments made to their overall exposure. I'm on a fully calibrated (eye one) widescreen monitor so knew it to be the individual track that was the problem - Detroit Belle Isle (folder name Detroit2017) being a good example, I love the circuit but the visuals have a tendency to burn out the retinas.... Thank you for the pro tip buried away on page 17... made my day mate ;)

tahnk you VheEth for thes magnificent improve on these tracks! looks awesome! do you consider an improvement on some terra 21 tracks? i think that road atlanta and long beach (from FM7) can be epic whit some adjust! again thank for this tracks..you make a magnificent job! i compared whit automobilista original and looks almost equal!

@Fall Guy, thanks for the explanation. I'll definitely check it out. Most of the time though, I'm actually replacing textures with improved textures apart from the originals. If it's just a brightness change, it sounds like I can definitely use your procedure. Does this create a config file similar to what people are sharing to put in "extensions"?

Yes but not a file like the config files we know, it is stored somewhere in the sol settings for each track.

Never interested though in which file in particular since you don´t need this file for any purpose further. I let SOL do the job.

Try to fiddle around even with the other sliders above that one. You will be surprised what could be done with these. Even distant fog or something else is possible if you don´t like the background scenery of the track too much. ;)

Hiya guys,

I've been looking for the attached Nürburgring GP layout for quite some time but never found anything, figured this is the best place to ask if someone even made it for AC

Absolutely love these Brazilian tracks, perfect for seeing the cars suspension work.
Now, knowing how sterile the PCars2 ffb feels (IMO) and how good the AMS1 / AMS2 is.....
Anyway, enjoy.
I don't know if you've tried yet, but may be worth it to try some of the custom FFB files on race department for PC2. You might like the change and it can turn PC2 into usable fun.

As i began updating the "acu_detroit". I found 2 versions here on GTP posted: also a "detroit" version. But this was the same as acu_detroit.
I do not know, why someone had to do this... but sorry, that is just stupid, because confusing.
I then took the acu_detroit version, because Slider began working on this, and i took his config and merged with my config.
Now we need the pitbox fix for my updated version, and perhaps sharpen or rework some textures.
Finally adding lights, and that would be it!
Thanks for doing all this work! Merging them was a good idea. I can imagine that a light config would be ridiculous with all the buildings and windows.

Only put in about one hour of testing at several tracks with this Nissan 370z GT4 car. Car handling: sublime!, I like the counter steering resistance and feel of tire slip. Feels like really connected to the road. Sound: eargasmic, that high pitch is scary good. Looks: awesome!
So job well done. If I can complain* about one thing then it should be the size of the left mirror vs the interior. It looks so big in comparison with e.g. the steering wheel. Could be the 21:9 monitor or my FOV settings? I used default <reset> on board settings.

* Meant as constructive feedback ofcourse ;)
I noticed that too. I don't know, why does it have to be so big. lol :D I already had to split them because one was floating. I should have scaled them down. It doesn't look that big from the outside. ? . :banghead:

Man, it was nice to install a GT4 car that I didn't already have to my GT4 grid. @Beezer215 this thing looks great and more importantly is a pleasure to drive. Thanks for your hard work. Are you working on any other GT4 cars that are not in Guerilla or Kunos grids?
I have a few in that category that I've transformed to GT4 cars. Some fantasy but they fit well. Others real. There's more in the pipeline and I will check my list and let you know in case you want to try out any others.
I know there's a Mazda MX5 GT4 in the pipeline too and supposedly that was a car that briefly ran with the class.

I've knocked up a quick road sign texture but - of course - it's mapped with different proportions around the track. Oh well... silk purse, sow's ear. I'll update the skin tomorrow and add the GT ballooons and blimp.

I just deleted this track after testing this for 1 lap. I am wondering how you can like it, and put your time into it...

For me it has nothing to do with the legendary GT track.

At the moment I'm in Brazil haha. Long Beach is my dream, I had started a version for GTR2 years and years ago. I'd like to take Jerez or Hockenheim to AMS. We'll see.

Thank you for this. These Brazilian tracks are extremely fun and enjoyable to drive. I remember the times of Automobilista 1, wonderful sim that I stopped playing only because it does not have VR. Congratulations on bringing those wonders to AC. One of the things that I find interesting about these Brazilian tracks is that they have a special atmosphere. I don't know if it happens to someone else, but as soon as I get behind the wheel I feel the warmth of the tropics. Furthermore, these tracks are fluid and "different" from the classic tracks (Monza, Spa, Suzuka ...), with large curves and banks.

Guys, thank you. The credit goes to those who brought them to AC before me. I just made some improvements. During the week there will be updates on all the Brazilian tracks (Goiania, Cascavel, Londrina, Velo Città and Velopark). I did a test on Curitiba (ERL), the track is a disaster, I think I will convert it from scratch.
