O.T. Does anybody else share my appreciation of the virtual 24H race @ Le Mans

Great race, great coverage, this probably did more for SIM racing than all that has been done before that historic event.
We are entering a new era of sim racing, no one will ever dare say ever again we are playing games without demonstrating total ignorance of what SIM racing had become.
We have came a long way and the future is bright for our hobby.

Only downsite were the server crashes....
I really hope assetto corsa competizione gets the wec license someday...

It had happened to me with Mugello and the Red Bull Ring. Go back with the CSP and reinstall the track configuration.
First remove the seasonal changes and take a test.

Well... Seems that checking the Seasonal Changes in CSP... Worked. Couldn't even remove it as I never used it before ahah. But using it does the trick, no more radioactive grass !

Glad you like it, any feedback as I roll out updates will always be greatly appreciated :)

There are an amazing number of tracks with great potential. In particular, I'm anxious to see how dunsdale and brearley progresses. Of all the tracks I tried the only one I didn't care for was the Lego track...guess that's not my cup of tea. :) The Seattle track also looks to be amazing.

The only thing I ask is for these wonderful tracks to not end up unfinished, a la Simtraxx.

I'm really glad you like my fictional circuits - I think they've got real potential. I'm going to try and post a few updates per week :)

Yeah the lego one is.... something special alright!

I have all the GT games, and play them as often as I can. I am looking forward to GT7 as the graphics look stunning, so hold on till then, I think you will like it
Believe me, you will not regret.
In my case I only bought all Playstations, just for GT. Never bought other game for PS. I'm more a PC gamer.
Nowadays, I almost every day, play at least 4 hours of GT Sport and spend at least 2 hours, making liveries for my cars.
Stunning.

I'm going to go the other direction here on this one. While the eye candy may look good, and it does, the gameplay is rather disappointing. Sure, if you like to scarf down cheesy poofs while sitting 20 feet away from the TV on the couch with your controller. Gran Turismo is for you. But the lack of decent physics and the almost non existent FFB make it boring after a short while. Tracks simply don't have bumps on them. You can drive on straights like at Monza and other places without your wheel doing a single thing. Car lods and tracks draw themselves right in front of your face. The only thing I can say is that they seem to have put some time into the Group 3 cars, those feel somewhat ok but I couldn't imagine having to buy a playstation just for this. (and there's a certain title that is hands down better for GT3)
If you are into more realism than this isn't for you.

Hey guys, what is your preferred version of Sebring? I'm spoiled rotten by the great rF2 version, so the several AC versions I have tried have fallen short. Are my expectations too high?

I get what you are saying. There are things I dislike already about it, the PP system. But from what I saw, the menu reminded me of GT4, which to me was the best version.
I really hope they go closer to 4 than to 6 or Sport.

I stayed at the 1.52 , the other updates are all buggy, it's been several times that I say I have problems with the weather, the problems had been found, but with versions 1.53 up to 1.61, some car no longer works, even Kunos car ...

yeah i went back to 1.52. I'm getting 20-40fps lower with any higher version of CSP and i'm running a beast of a pooter (overclocked 2080s gpu). there's some major issues going on for CSP that make it not worth it at all to update.

Thanks a lot mate, since a week may be the search display on this forum have change and now i cannot find what i'm searching, i made search for zolder 67 and this post don't come in search display, don't understand...

Sorry for the late reply - only just saw your post.

But this one had me for a while too but there is a way to get back to the original search.

When you do a new search click the green box "Show Classic Search results" at the top of the results page and everything will be back to how it was before they changed it :D

There currently isn't one for AC AFAIK :(

This is definitely a track AC has been desperately needing for a long time and one I too would love to see made possible for the community to enjoy in the future. I'm not too sure if anyone is working on it either - so it could possibly be a long time before we see this track.

EDIT: I know there's some poor versions out there, but for me they don't count if they aren't exactly a half decent representation of the real track.

I need to disagree here. Sebring from AC track reboot is a very decent one and if you add the several layouts provided by Legion you get a good representation of the track IMO.

Speaking of Sebring. If you have upside-down American flags on the track, put this in a Texture folder in the track folder. It will put the flags right side up, stars from the pole.

Okay, good to know. I did not like the "rtb" v0.8 that I tried from Race Department

I see that there is currently an rF2 conversion of Zandvoort 2020, any chance a Sebring conversion will appear?
