I do not know since I only have Giuseppe Abgnale mod, only the one on rd so I cannot compare. What I understand from the explanations from our friends who have both mod, is the mod from Pessio has allegedly better physic and better graphics.

I have the pessio car, certainly modelling wise its leaps and bounds better certainly £3 better IMO.
Sound is wonderful, regards physics not sure if its the same as the one on RD... it might be as that drives really well too..

I actually quite like the rough look of the RD one, looks a bit LOD 2 though...but here you go:

Thanks @Elio92. The artwork of Daniel Simon is really cool and worth a look at if you like these concept cars.

Thanks a lot, It's a big matter of interest for me ! 👍 ;)

If You are interested in design (and about cars obviously !) and really sorry if It's OT, just get a look on the Luigi Colani site.

Cheers !

The pessio mod, yes i can confirm comparing data files its the same physics with few minor changes in wheel base etc to fit the wheels in the better model.
Might be a deal breaker I suppose to some.
But £3 when i get so many mods for free no brainer.

Oh thanks for the hint, I did not realize it was switched to 50Hz. Reverting back to 60Hz of course.

Yeah weirdly it started me off on a search for info on running AC at 50z, and there is or at least was a bunch of folks on official forum that swore by it.

All i know is, is that if i want to use the horizon shades extrafx thing, it runs better in 50z, well the replays do, the racing was fine in 60z but died in replays for some reason.
Choices are cool right, glad your mistake pointed me in that direction.

(sorry double post, i assumed someone would of replied by the time i hit 'go')

Quick question, the presets you kindly uploaded here a few pages back, I used the video settings preset and you use screen resolution setting at 50z.

Normally i use 60z my native rez, but the 50z works brilliantly for when i want to use the extra fx settings (i chop and change between presets).

So any particular reason for 50z? And should i change the native rez in nvidia panel?
I was always under the assumption, that you have to set the hz in game to match your monitor for best experience. And I think from experimenting, that is still actually the case. I gain nothing by setting the Hz lower or higher than my monitor settings. If I struggle with holding constant level of smooth gameplay, I rather cap the FPS ingame. Much better choice.

But the biggest difference maker for me was recently getting a freesync monitor. This is the future definetly. Smooth gameplay down to 35,36 fps and no tearing framedrops or changes in visual performance even though I have sometimes 55 and sometimes on rare occasions 38 fps. And this technology is not that expensive anymore, 10% on top of what comparable monitor without free sync costs. So I would suggest to anyone when they are gonna be in the market for a new monitor, to strongly consider a little extra for freesync option. Of course only if you have a graphic card capable of freesync.

Good evening fellow GT Planetiers.

Our dear member @Masscot came with the brilliant idea to revive the unfinished Forceful Panamera Sport Turismo, and I gave it a fresh second chance! Or.. at least I tried :D

Bear in mind that I am a newbie in modding. But after some reading I think the final result satisfy my need to put this wagon back on track:

preview.jpg

Changelog:

- Fixed rear view mirrors (thanks to @GIBBONS for the quick tutorial)
- Totally rebuilt lightning system / day light
- Fixed excessive glare on the gauge cluster
- Fixed some materials glare
- License plates
- Option street tires

Again: I'm a newbie so there are lots of things to do here. I've just done basic stuff. Test it, rip it apart and share your opinions to make Panamera Sport Turismo great again! Wait what?! :D:D

My home set up i use a lcd TV, 49 inch one, only cost £299 so not the best, can run it at 50z 59z or 60z.
Anyway. Back on topic.

The Puma 3 in 1 is great, nice to have another UK trackday workhorse in the sim! Rust like crazy in real life, seen loads of ropey ones at trackdays.

I found the collider was too low and causing sparks off the splitter (plastic so weird;)) so upped that a bit and its all golden.

hi, i downloaded the mod. Thank you, but
tachometer does not work or appears very rarely
the daytime running lights are no longer working.

can the rear spoiler work?

Sorry for my bad english.

Yeah, you don't tell anybody here when matters are closed, not your call. Also I don't need your, or anybody else's, permission to defend someone who has been unfairly and wrongly treated.

You people could simply add him to your ignore list and you would never see his posts again, simples. He doesn't brake any rules so he doesn't have to stop doing what he's been doing.
He doesn't have to, but probably should. Or else what?...he's gonna have 500 posts of: Guys, where can I find...Guys do you have this/that..etc. Unfairly and wrongly treated? Come on.:D And if he has a special car/track in mind, I'm sure someone will help and point him to the right direction or just give him a link. Otherwise I would suggest using any kind of search bar and at the end of the day.....if he can't find stuff, he just can't.

is there anyway I can change these numbers on the dash screen?
You have to export this dash screen texture and then edit the file with photoshop (+ dds plugin) or some other photo editing software.

There's several different versions available, all of which have their issues and I'm not sure any of them are faithful to the actual road layout.

This one is my favourite in terms of functionality, there's a link in the comments (make sure you get the both links as it looks rubbish without the extra shaders):

Here's my additional AI/Data folders that add a basic AI line and map for both the forward and reverse layouts. Just rename from .txt to .rar when you download.

game crash message error AI lane is missing

God this is a great mod!!

Worth the price of a coffee just for the sound!

Totally agree with you on the sound, especially from the outside has lots of depth to it and got to be one of my favorite mods now. Only missing real life skins now to have a complete package. I'm going to use this as inspiration to have a punt at learning some basics on skinning but prob take a few weeks in the meantime

How come we missed that car?

As others mentioned Masscott brought info up about this car. I tried this car out a week ago and it is a huge car mod and the cockpit sits offset on the right side of the car. Gearing seems strange for me, I tried both manual and auto shift. I couldn't get it to the top gears, it would always downshift back to 1st or 2nd gear. I never did get it into 4th gear, if it did it was only momentary. So I could never get top speeds on the car mod. I only hotlapped it on Atlanta Oval track.
