I have absolutely no doubt about it in... reality ! ;-)
In reality, I appreciate the electric cars... not in a virtual game ! ^^

Cheers, I wish you a good day. ;-)

Yes, not that entertaining in a sim because you can't feel the acceleration pinning you against the seat (literally). But in person...it just takes on push of the throttle to make you :D.

Drop the Kunos Ford Escort RS1600 '73 audio into this Mini Cooper Cup and it improves it exponentially. The sound might not technically be correct for the car but it's a great fit, with a raspy tone and lovely lift-off burbles and backfires. I'm having a lot of fun with this little beast.

Is that the fixed version? There were some issues with the first released version by Velo.

Mmm, not sure. It seems OK to me apart from the dashboard LCDs being a solid red. What improvements or fixes were there? I might have missed something obvious.
Post up the new link if you have one and I'll edit my post.

There always seems to be issues with Velo initial releases. I don't think they quite get tested properly.

Something with the tires not adjusted correctly: Link

I can tell you it drive the same way it´s modelled. It´s very plain to drive (my thoughts).

BTW, am I the only one who thinks it is a bad looking car? I mean, not Panoz level, but still ugly though.
Yeah, Marcos have always looked like cheap kits cars to me. Never been a fan.
I used to think the same about Ginettas but those have grown on me because they are so nice to drive.

How's the cockpit in the Marcos? As a VR user it's usually the most important modelled area to me.

It´s hard to see barely anything as the motor block and the hood go a bit up and gets in the way of your vision field.

assuming you are using shader light patch, if you don't, you should, that is the mother of all mods, just after CM!
paste
[REAL_MIRRORS]
ENABLED=1
SHOW_CAR=1
in extension/cfg/smart_mirros.ini
It will give you virtually (pun intended) a real view in the mirrors, you will see the side of the car in the exterior mirrors, the back of the car in the inside mirrors, that with the parallax we already had with shader light patch, makes for a alleluia vr experience in AC.

Have you installed the "Professional Driver DATA-ACD Replacer", I have not since I am not, :crazy:, but I have never seen anything like that before!!

Where exactly do you paste this?

steam/steamapps/common/assettocorsa/extension/config/smart_mirror.ini

use the review51 version of light patch,

the app for the ingame adjustments is here:

That.
Is.
INCREDIBLE.

How do you get the adjustment app to work? I can't find it in my normal sidebar.

Edit: forgot to tick it in Assetto Corsa -- Apps in CM settings

I've posted this on RD. Immersion is off the scale in VR now.

With all the awesome work and features that the mod community has output and achieved with the original AC, I can't help but feel that ACC will feel like a rather small upgrade.

I agree. I'm way too busy tweaking weather and testing mod cars and tracks to be bothered with ACC. I almost never drive GT3 cars or even Kunos tracks for that matter anymore. The mods have taken over for me at least.

I forgot about how much time I spend in CM, rendering car views, etc. probably more time than even playing the game sometimes.

to be able to keep the mirrors adjustment, verify you have a configuration folder in Document/assettocorsa/cfg. if not just create it.

I just drove the MP4 12C, looking back at the engine bay and seeing the spoiler moving up and down when braking, priceless, cannot drive it any other way, cannot unseen what I just saw.

A little bit of wee came out when I drove the Miata Cup and had a diagonal roll bar blocking part of my rear view, just like it should be. Amazing.
