I don't know what is happening with my AC but for some reason most of my cars don't have engine sounds anymore. Haven't updated anything. Swapping car sounds with CM doesn't work either. What the **** is going on ?

Edit : affects 80% of my cars. Any tips lads ? This is unplayable. God this game can be pretty ****ing frustrating at times...

Edit 2 : Kunos, RSS, URD... lost their sounds. I'm stumped. What the ****.

Bumping this cause it's doing ma head in. Any fix for this ?
 
I was experimenting with this today. For me best combination: ACU track, Pepperoni's skin, ext_config from this new track.../...
Me too. I ended up with ACU reworked by marc_13000 (1.1) and this new ext_config.

is there newer version than 0.9 of Reboot Monaco?
I'm using a monaco_2019 version from patrikpat-ozandy-Mitja Bonca-Dutch_Can (version nr. unknown but from February 2020).

Hi, you need to set it up manually over the WeatherFX debug app. AppBar-->Bottom-->PatchApps-->WeatherFxDebug
There you can set up Rain/Wetness/Water in % under RainFX. If you dont see Rain Debug disable RSR.

ATM its not bound to WeatherVariables.

im going out on a limb here...

for those having CSP and physics issues. I heard that some extended physics are being intercepted via FXAA (yes it sounds odd).
Try to enable FXAA in your video driver (just like enabling AO but without activating it) could solve some issues, maybe.. potentially...
or not.
 
Okay, So thanks to some great advice earlier, I managed to work out how to edit track billboards - for tracks that have the .dds files, in a skins folder.

For tracks that don't have any skins folders(like the mod 1988 tracks), How can I access the skin texture files?

PD, I've got a dumb thing to ask. Did you by chance pull your headphones out a tiny bit from the jack? I had this happen recently and I could hear 'some' things, but not others. I hope you get it sorted. I'm frustrated for you, man.

In CM --> track --> skin --> create new one --> choose a name --> override textures --> choose the ones you want to edit by clicking it --> they will be saved into a separate cmskins folder. If you don´t like them after editing, just delete them. The original ones are kept in any way.

Never use headphones when I play (hate it ahah). I just don't know what happened. Everything was fine yesterday, didn't update anything nor installed a sound mod and yet here I am - a completely borked AC.

I used a KN5 unpacker (quickBMS?) to just extract all the textures of every track and then you can browse through all the files of a track and edit them to your hearts content.

Took time to port but it payed off. Love the design of this car.
It may not be a top AAA class mod but its fun to drive however here i used the actual textures from the
csr 2 car instead of making my own. The steering wheel needs to be turbosmoothed hoping i can revisit
this mod and fix that!

Wow, probably the very first mod track a lot of us ever drove. I don't think I've even ever driven it in VR.

Trees, textures, billboards etc still look extremely bright and saturated to me despite the updated textures - I'm wondering if my settings need adjusting?

  • offside mirror doesn't work
  • rear lights don't work
  • headlights are like two nuclear searchlights
I think it might need a few more tweaks dude... ;)

Edit: the steering wheel axis of rotation is way off centre too.

thanks for the feedback gonna try and fix those the only thing that i may not be able to do is making the rear lights both an brake light and a back light.

It looks absolutely well done from the pictures. I was stunned. Haven't downloaded it though.

Absolutely fun.

The whipers work, the horn work, the doors open and close, the handling is ok for a big lad.
Its time to get my 6 big (street) Bus trucks and go for a Nordscheliefe (we should be able to get passengers while racing at Nords) 5 laps race.

And because it has an electric engine the torque is huge.
 
Hi guys , I am an old racing fan and new on this forum.

I spent days digging through the GTPAC pages and I have found loads of fantastic new and or reworked mods.
SOL, CSP and your creations make the old Assetto Corsa the number one sim.
Being not a modder myself I can only enjoy your awesome creations.

What's new (compared to v0.8)
  • New aero and suspensions physics: the car is faster, has more downforce and a lot less understeer (faster than F2004... as it should be according to Poliphony Digital)
  • New tyres model
  • Added Bridgestone logo on the rear wing low side
  • Fixed some materials issues
  • Fixed some setup bugs
  • Added new skins (there are14 skins in total based on the original skins in GT6)

Known Issues:
  • No AO inside the rims
  • Front Toe in the setup menu works inversed... (+ decrease the toe, - increase the toe... sincerely I'm still asking myself why this happens)
The mod will be soon available also on Assetto Land
