What's new (compared to v0.8)
- New aero and suspensions physics: the car is faster, has more downforce and a lot less understeer (faster than F2004... as it should be according to Poliphony Digital)
- New tyres model
- Added Bridgestone logo on the rear wing low side
- Fixed some materials issues
- Fixed some setup bugs
- Added new skins (there are14 skins in total based on the original skins in GT6)
Known Issues:
The mod will be soon available also on Assetto Land
- No AO inside the rims
- Front Toe in the setup menu works inversed... (+ decrease the toe, - increase the toe... sincerely I'm still asking myself why this happens)

Hi everyone. I am working on some older tracks that have some problems. This time it is
Karlstad Snow/Ice Arena from SIM TRAXX
There are 2 versions available, the V0.7 from here https://assettocorsa.club/mods/tracks/karlstad-arena.html and the V1 on the SIM TRAXX homepage https://www.simtraxx.net/?product=ac-karlstad-ultimate. Both versions are for free, but you have to register on SIM TRAXX to get the V1. The tracks are identical, the difference is just some moving flags and stuff like that.
The track has 2 layouts: a A2B track and a short oval race track. I have found the A2B track IRL in some Youtube-videos but it is very different and used for head-to-head racing. The track IRL is much wider and allows drifting the corners.
But the real problem is the oval track. There is a AI-line included but the AI is not able to drive that track. Probably because the AI dont "see" the track limit because there is no tarmac (just ice). So I made some sidelines, an ideal-line and a VAO-patch. Just copy the files into your track folder. I have tried the oval track with different cars and they are working well. Except with the new monster rallye trucks! These cars are not able to get the corners.
Have some fun with an very unusual track.
Could you please tell me where it is bad and how you prove that the physics are wrong? So I will work on it. Are you sure you downloaded the last version? (1.01) A lot of things changed for the best on the physics since version 0.8... If you downloaded it from Assetto Land probably you still have version 0.8 because the guys up there still have to update the version. If it is the case I suggest you to download it directly from the link in the post.Proven.

I spent days digging through the GTPAC pages and I have found loads of fantastic new and or reworked mods.
SOL, CSP and your creations make the old Assetto Corsa the number one sim.

So hello I am a 20 year old car enthusiast from Bosnia , I love older cars and especially japanese ones. Active Assetto Corsa player since 2018 but not that good of a driver. My dream car is the AE86. I guess this small introduction should be enough and again sorry ..

Why should I need any permission to make a AI-line or sideline for a track? Especially when there is none in the first place.

I managed to contact one of the modders from Assetto Corsa Real Mod, a group of 3 people from different Facebook groups.
I downloaded his free car ..... is amazing from here.
It is driven very smoothly, the engine gives off power over the entire rpm range, the interior is super polished, I recommend this golf is one of the best available on the web.
Of course you can share skins made for a paid mod... Why shouldn't you? I might be missing the logic there. I would also have made better examples of paid mods, for example many people made skins for RSS or URD cars and you can find them on racedepartment because a skin doesn't include any part of the model, the same would be for an ext_config for a paid mod, you can share it since you're not giving the actual mod away
