Beautiful screenshots. What filter do you use? I might have it is spectacular.

The Filter, Like I stated previously is one I've been refining myself for weeks in order to make my game brighter, bolder, and full of life. It's been a joint venture of setting up values and partial knowledge scripting .Lua with what CSP gives you to work with, and slight bit colorgrading but overall the results are what you see now.

Overall though I'm happy with the results and love how my game has turned out in recent weeks. No ReShade or any other "Shaders" filter out there has looked this great on my game.
 
Quick question: at some point, possibly due to CSP settings, creating new map outlines in Content Manager doesn't exactly work right -- the .png files it creates have no transparency, so I wind up with a picture of the track outline with a solid black background that blots out the preview image. What happened, and how do I fix this?

It has mostly been like that. I use Gimp to make the background transparent again

Have you tried deleting the map and launching the track with original AC launcher? The game generates missing map without CM also.
 
Looks good, as the only FK8 available now seems too fast and too simplified. BTW what will be the difference between the free version and the paid one?
I'm not sure how I'll parse the free content from the paid. Perhaps a race-tuned version could be available for the Civic
 
Remove the floating barrier if you can--very noticeable in VR. I'll need to drive the ACC version again and compare, but this version will likely need some road mesh work to add "road feel," and a few other things could be added to make it more interesting. The track side paint definitely adds a lot to the experience, as well as other track side objects, but that's getting into more of a major overall, and quite a bit of work to modify and add 3D models, and new materials/textures.

Anyone know if he's making a classic 'Routemaster' bus? Driving the double-decker and the single deck buses around Highlands is fun. :D

I want to draw atention to a little gem of a track that doesn't seem to get a lot of atention. A little while ago I created a grass config for legions Warwick Farm. I've updated it added CSP water and added a VAO.

I mainly just hop lap on tracks. Gzerod if you would like to include these above in the track could you also please fix the hot lap starting place so it faces the correct way and start behind the last corner?

This link is from Assetto Land. I was wondering if anyone had done anything to help love this car a little more? The gearing is trash, I messed with it on my version on my game, but maybe someone knows how to do it better. And maybe some shading updates to make it look better? This is such a special car I'm surprised I haven't seen any updates come out on it. Thanks!
 
OK these are little projects I am doing, but obviously want to share here.
Dead simple to add and remove, nothing overwritten etc etc...

So its a kart track which i quite like, but disliked the grass, trees etc.

The extension and skin must both be added for the changes to take effect as the pics show...

Basically, added grass fx, removed ugly grass/trees and added as best i could better trees (may well try again with trees to make more Norwegian)

Changed road surface, rumble strips, few colour tweeks here and there...

Awesome, I've been trying to find kart tracks all week but can I ask, what kart mod are you using? I've tried the one from RD that most people download but there was another one posted very ecently and I thought it was better than any kart mod I've tried in Assetto - it's on RD btw. Yep, just wondering whether there is another kart out there.
 
Yeah, it's by no means a bad car but if you are going to charge money for your stuff then errors that are obvious after a cursory glance shouldn't really make it into the final product.
My instincts tell me it should have a ton more mechanical grip as well. At times it handles like a drift tune.
Dont trust your instincts, what you are driving is a out and out prototype, this is a lot lighter than a GT3 or GTE car, its hard to shift that mentality honestly.

I like these (relative) obscurities, and we need more like this for AC -- but also, I definitely remember someone making this for RFactor 1, so if you get in touch with them you might be able to get permission to use their model as a base.

Strange, because I used to be able to create them with transparency fine just using Content Manager, at least until I futzed with my CSP settings to optimize my framerate. I have no idea what I did, and it's driving me crazy.

It was the old kart 100 that has been around for a while but updated by, i think, beezer on here. Hopefully a search will bring it up.

Thing with these kart tracks is, they are a tonne of fun with small cars and even more fun with the SUV's, which i was totally ignoring till i realised how much fun they ar to tank around Mallory Park RX track.

Thank you for this. That original grass strips were just too much. Looks real good now. Thanks for reminding me I have to continue fooling around with karts. :)

Hi there ,did this and no change , i asked 3 people to test the car , 2 of them had no problem and 1 just like me had this problem, guessing csp setting is to blame....thanks for you trouble
What you can try is replacing the internal glass. Search for a file called dirty_glass.dds and replace. That's worked before. Not on my rig computer or else I'd just share it here. Will be in a little bit though.

You know what these buses need though??? More Powaaaaahhhh so they can do a bit more than 40mph
