does AC support 5.1 positional audio? Looking to setup a smallish audio thingamajoozit for the new rig front L-R back L-R and front sub on a dedicated sb 5.1 pci-e card.

Genuinely for me having driven the back legs off it today...the Trained Monkey modding Cupra is the finest mod for AC.... I have a champion.

The car has top quality physics having been a passenger in one of these cars on a test day the handling is closest you are going to get in simulator game. Just need to damper down the brake noise in my opinion it is a bit to much when applying the brakes.

Of course!
thanks, I googled before I asked and it seems like a ****fight if I am to believe whats on RD, apparently 5.1 cannot be extracted via passthrough hdmi to amp, (windows 10 issue), and may or may not work with cheaper onboard sound cards irrespective of optical or not, (generic board rivers issue), and LOTS of posts that AC 5.1 just delivers Front L-R copied to the back speakers. so good to know someone actually has it working.

I had 5.1 in AC via HDMI but Windows kept treating my amp as a second screen. Nothing but trouble. Now rocking 5.1 via optical and it's been completely trouble free, but I had to do some hackette first as 5.1 via optical isn't natively supported in Windows 10, which must be the dumbest decision since Trump.

ya, ergo decision to just use proprietry card/drivers and go with the soundlaster audigy. followed a thread on AMS that has 7.1, and a lot of threads stop dead after a dedicated card enters the mix. (similar can be done by looking up the oem manf code, or just looking at chipset number and finding original drivers for the onboard chipsets, but, ya, the nvidia passthrough seems to be significantly broken. )

the mystery of the dissappearing wheels. Kunos Ferrari 312/67. No matter what i set my car LOD distance to, if I race with a full grid of these cars randomly some of them will be driving around with no wheels, the car in front has wheels, car behind it has wheels, but it does not, then when its wheels do appear another car(s) wheels will dissapear.

Any clues, its a bit offputting to be racing '67 cars when Luke is also there racing you in his landspeeder ;)

hard to try drive and capture but here you go (also, only happens while the grid is full, once you thin out to fewer cars they all keep their wheels irrespective of distance.)

yup. And do share your config as well?

Here is a config with your lines edited in. I am not sure if this came from Sergio or from Github. If the former I sincerely hope he won't mind me sharing it. It's for the paid version of Sandevoerde, but I imagine it will work with the Test version. It's hardly anything like leaking the full track, which I would never do of course. In fact I hope he may pick up a few sales. It's a rar file renamed as a zip if anyone has problems opening it.

I also attach a pic of wet Zandvoort from 1968 with a couple of Jackies.

Ok so, here I am with the video of my problem

OK, not brightness as said, distance.
Im almost positive its the car (or how the lights are configured).
I have that M8 and plenty more but ul the one you have. If theres no parameter to adjust more then color (many do, like the ks 911RSR), then its in the .data file
It also might have an .ini with just basic parameters - brightness, color etc. If you see an ini with just a couple of lines then more detail is in the .data

Or as M1gaming said, use a quality car. :D Without looking, I think I have 5-7 M8's, some should have been binned long ago. You just might have one of those:D

ehhh... ffs.. SO i like the test Sandevoerd so much i paid for the full one.. except now..
ANy clues on this one.. or jsut contact Sergio and ask him to fix?

1965 version is this

73 works, but drops me to 45 fps.

if anyone has a working version of this release hot/cracked/off the back of a truck, please send to me, I have legitimately paid for it, and not in the mood to fix a paymod.

OK I just checked and my 1965 works fine, so it's not the config I just sent. I will now try the 1967 and look to see if my stands are missing. If not, I will help you to sort this.

Nice update! I just found out the lights wasn't working, I check the Lights.ini in the data folder and found the name didn't match, so I correct it. I also included flashing pit lights, but I'm sure it not accurate to real life. You can go ahead and remove it.

The model is being reworked, so I haven't done any work with light and other effects yet.
Ready only physics, and the body, this "mule" with Race07, who did in 2011)

Thank you, I thought there were some improved one available, those have none functioning speedo and tachometer among many other unfinished issues. Unfortunately this is the only street Flachbau'(Slant-Nose) 930 I know off, we already have a very nice and fully functional 930 non Flachbau'(Slant-Nose).
To know more about the Flachbau, go here:

All instruments work fine for me including the clock which I haven't seen yet in another car. Are you using the latest version of CSP?

EDIT: ninja'd by @a3rdperson above lol

I am using the latest recommended CSP and my CM is fully updated. I am done being a beta tester for CSP with all the fun of the issues, I prefer enjoying actually driving in AC.

Yes @Cote Dazur everything works fine! Should be an issue at your end with your CSP settings....

That is possible has I have few thing not activated in CSP, in Oder to have a clear VR and decent FPS.

Not sure why those would need CSP to work, all other great cars in AC have working speedo and tachometer.

Ok so not sure what is causing your issues then, although if you're using the latest recommended (0.160) that may be why. Try updating to 0.164 and see if it works for you.
I admit the interior is quite dark but as it's using PBR it will vary depending on your filter and time of day etc.

Hi! Finally Wiper is ok now! Someone knows what is needed to obtain raindrop on windshield?

I've done "possible" what was "impossible" ;-)

Only base LM for now.

All credit goes to @Shokeus, wiper animation by me ;-)

For rain to appear on the glass you need both external and internal glass meshes. More than likely the car only has external. Quickest way is to duplicate the external window mesh and give it another name, then flip it's normals so it is facing the other way and make sure the mesh is set to transparent also in ksEditor. External glass should use ksReflection shader and internal should use the Windscreen shader. It's also a good idea to add a subtle dirt texture on the internal glass at this point.

Complimenti! The animation is really well done. The timing is not quite right though, as it's intermittent on all three settings. Can't wait for the raindrops on the windshield, but can't help you with that.

Nope, this was clean install, direct from the download. Deleted the old track first and kept my ext_config separated so I can see what I need to paste back. Fwiw the extconfig in this track is quite different to the one you posted, already had grassfx and a lot more tweaks in lighting etc. maybe slightly newer version.

Stockton 99 Speedway by RMi v0.95 (final preview)

1st time in Assetto Corsa, converted from rFactor (version by DDawg)
High-banked Quarter mile Oval, known as the "fastest quarter mile in the West".

In the early 80's I grew up near this track in California and went to a few Late-Model and Sportsman races,
so I decided to pick this track for a virgin conversion to AC.

"Stockton99" still features Drift, Stockton Late Models, Bombers, B4 Cylinders, Mini Cups & Bandolero’s racing
