well I got the LMP1 zytek, creation and hpd/Acuras up to them competing against the other LMP1s. if you have to, make a tuned version with the original data from the GRID mod for the LMP2 specs (which is what I did)

Awesome Integra posted on Toprace Discord.

I'd share it but I'm sure you all know where the discord is and I'm not sure I can share the link (sorry)

So it's a Polyphony Digital car... but GT6 or GT Sport?

The author of Content Manager made that "feature", now anyone knows who they can blame. Also in a perfect world there would be a lot of complaints against that nasty thing and the author could change is mind but most users of CM don't even realize that they use encrypted crap and what it means when someone changes an open world into a closed one or what it means to stole some 3d models and lock the result. Anyway I already put all the encryption cult in my ignore list so there won't be any endless sterile debate.
Imagine ignoring everyone who disagrees with your opinion. God I love the internet and only looking for people with your same ideas

Damn am I right reading this?

So rather than debate something you'll just ignore it because you are right and we are wrong. WTF? Way to show how mature and grown up you are dude. See ya

These are some of the more obscure tracks I like in RRRE, and I wish they were in AC, or they exist in AC, but they're terrible versions.

Karlskoga Motorstadion/Gelleråsen: Love this small track, a terrible version exists for AC.

Ningbo International Speedpark: A great high-speed course, good for fast GT and Prototypes. Haven't found a version for AC.

Zhejiang Circuit: A very challenging circuit, with part of the track going up on a hill at the base of a mountain. Several blind apexes, and taking sweeping lines through two-three apexes at a time gets you the best lap times. The locale is beautiful, with the mountain and homes jutting out from the trees above. Unfortunately, the version for AC is also terrible.

As for RRRE's cars and handling, I think it's excellent, and it places this sim right with my other preferred sims (AC, ACC), however I would agree that it may appear to be easier to drive, but this is after it challenges you to learn to control the cars in a realistic way. Be sure to check your wheel settings, as the ratio and FFB can be wonky at default (at least it was in earlier versions). Recent updates have made this sim even better and the AI is pretty good. Once everything is set up correctly, it offers a great sim-racing experience, and I often return to it for the tracks above.

I have not fired it up since owning the dd1 kit, on the g29 I raised the issue on RD and a dev and had a bit of to and fro on the matter, including sending out settings etc. it was always "dull", sort of like PC3. But, as a fairly pragmatic person, I am about to fire it up again and have a look with the new wheel. Thanks for the track listing, after purchase I tried my staple tracks, Bathurst (really quite terrible), nurburgring and spielberg, then I just pulled the plug. I note in steam the updates are fast and fusrious though, maybe the covid inspired boost in simracing has given cause for a closer look at the game code/tracks/models.

The bit that I DID like was the AI on "adaptive", as you settle into the track and your laps get faster, so do the AI, they dont do silly stuff like slam anchors in front of you for no reason or go kamikaze on you like the ai in rf2.

EDIT: @imported_ApexVGear Just gave it another crack, I will IM you a video clip of what I mean, using the fanalab recommended settings for the game, I can drive the car with a pinky, nothing at all in feedback (less than g29 even actually), but if i touch a curb or another car full 20nm ripping, to the point that if your hands were on the wheel you'd loose a finger.. I had this issue with G29 as well, near no feedback, and could not be solved even with dev supplied profiles. Maybe you can see what I am missing.

In other news the Sachsenburg ring is MUCH better than the AC offering, so there is that.

yep, even if the model is ****** the Arch physics make the car thousand times better

I'll be direct once again, because I've been waiting for this car and I'm disappointed .....
The model is very good, that's true, but unfortunately nothing behind it.
First of all the whole impression is spoiled by the old uninteresting sound of the engine still remembering the times of Remco and its first Integra.
I completely don't understand the excitement of physics. As for me and I write here as a brand lover and former owner of Integra DC2 in two versions of JDM 96 Spec and JDM 98 Spec, physics is lame.
I can clearly state that I don't recall my DC2 lifting the rear wheel at about 70/80km/h, with a quick change of direction. It was always stuck to the road.
In addition, this car in the game spits incredibly forward (it is very understeerable) which never happened in a real car.
Integra is famous for its incredible driving and is described as the best front drive car ever made.
Who has driven this car at least once and I believe that there is someone like that on this forum will confirm my words.
This physics shows all the ills of the worst front drive car and not the legend that is Integra.
This car does not drive as it should.
I don't know who Arch is, but he doesn't know anything about physics and driving such a car.
To conclude, the ignition cut-off is also set to 8500 and should be 8900 for B18C engine.
I am sorry if I have offended someone or disagree with my opinion....

I wonder if anyone's thinking about a new tyre model with water dispersion related to the real characteristics of that tyre..
Ilja's posts on the patreon indicate that the next goal is getting RainFX working with SOL, and that he is aware the physics do need some looking at. I just use RainFX visually for now, because on narrower tyre cars as you point out its somewhere between a bog marsh and an ice skating rink. OK if you racing with other humans, but the AI and AI line have little hope of surviving it and it makes for turning AC into Wreckfest ;)

I bought the LMP mod.

Downloading, what does it add?

Haha be careful. Don't you know that Arch is the god of physics... He's literally never wrong (my tongue is firmly in my cheek) when I tell you this:lol:

It's a forum, it is made to share opinions.
About the physics, arch is a guy that's been making physics for AC for a while and he base his data on car manuals and not on driving feedback usually, that's his way of doing them. You can find him on Racedepartment, having driven one you might be able to give him some feedback to improve it

Haha be careful. Don't you know that Arch is the god of physics... He's literally never wrong (my tongue is firmly in my cheek) when I tell you this:lol:
no, no; you got that wrong, the uber ultra god of physics is Rusty, just join the discord, and find out how a guy with no drivers licence who has never driven a car can school you on physics.. and modding, and, well, life in general..

I am a fan of Honda, but the EK9 model, which was only in Japan, doing my physics for my "poor" model, I was modelled on the models related to and present in the EU, that is EK4, (i have EK4 before 4 year ) but improving it with the experience of Integra Type R because it is also a popular car in Europe.
I can't exactly assess this physics because, as I've already written, it controls cars and pads from xbox, but I'll be happy to talk to you personally if possible

So another dissatisfied user of physics of one of the better people who can make physics..... ;)

I also think it's a port with GT6

Unfortunately, you are wrong ;)

Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaat No way.

Well I did stop playing Sport a long time ago so I must have missed it. I only use GTS for the livery editor nowadays.

Well that means that model must be from Sport, since that game just had a bunch of files ripped.

The god of Physic!, I thought listening to him that he had invented physic, slightly disappointed, but I will survive. :D:lol::lol:

Joke aside, it is a shame that he has this attitude, because he does in-depth research and can give good physic to cars. I think that some time he forgets that SIMs are not perfect yet, so if the right numbers give bad results, you need to adapt, seems difficult for him. :)
