Is it possible to use two sound cards in AC to separate sounds? For example, in order to output the sounds of tires to four separate speakers, and all other sounds (engine, ambient...) - to go through another sound card and another acoustic system?

Not to my knoweldge Turnup. I don't know of any sim or game that allows you to send different parts of the audio to different outputs on your PC.

I thought the DC2 Type R drove quite well, pretty throttle adjustable and I thought the tires behave pretty believably especially considering its supposed to be the period performance tires. The slightly squishy sidewall feel seems pretty believable compare to the super stiff sidewall track tires these days.

Yep, I've tried everything. It would be so easy... :odd:

Don't want to start the encryption-debate again, but sometimes I just feel like... Hnnnnnnnrgh!!! Who was it actually that invented and brought this encryption-thing to AC? Is he aware how much bad he has done in contrast what has been gained by encrypting the car-models?
The encryption was originally introduced to attract modders who scratch build their mods, because in the past, in the days of gMotor sims, many of them complaining that their scratch build assets can be easily grabbed and used in other mods without their consents. But yeah it is getting strange now the one using the encryption are the "converters" and not modding group who scratch built their mods and paymods like RSS etc.

thought I'd just post this request again.. any chance someone could send me the original Kunos Imola cameras files? or maybe PM me the files contents?

I like the content in this thread, but it is so hard to find things... Quick question. Looking for some older Spec Miatas. Was at the SCCA Runoffs last weekend and there was a boat ton of them. I found some original previews of the Pure Spec Miata, but it seemed like it was a vapor ware type of thing. Anybody know of a release or a release of something similar?

Looking specifically for the Race version, with and with out the top

I have been going back through my duplicate track review project ~ Here's my latest one, Blackwood Reloaded (the ultra HD version of the old LFS track)

Wanted to get the windmills working and replace the back ground horizon, poke a stick at the darkness of the trees etc,
Someone has already done the turbines, but, in this build of the track their centres are way off so they dont spin correctly. (is there a way to nominate a new geometry centre in CSP?)

Did an edit in Blender to recentre geometry origins and some renaming to make it easier to pick them for animation. So, its a completely new KN5, whats the best way to "add" it to the current myriad of versions of this track already in this forum?

Here are a few things I've had a chance to work on recently. AI tested at 100% strength and aggression:

AI for zw_hockenheim 1988:
Attempted to get period correct F1 cars working well on this track. VRC McLaren MP4/4 and Formula 1988 mod by ?? will still have a couple cars drive off into kitty litter occasionally. Formula 1988s seem to respond to turning down aggression, VRC's, not so much. RSS 1990 V12's work really well. If you never drive open wheelers, you probably don't need these files (unless you are having accident issues), as ai with tin tops will be slower than that which came with the track.

AI for hockenheim 2001:
Not sure who made this or where to get it, sorry. Seems to be a Reiza/Automobilista conversion.

As always, backup your original files in case you don't like it.

Thanks, seems to be for this Hockenheim 2001 from @qp01 - https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/thre...ral-discussion.307899/page-1549#post-13202055

Hi!

I've looked a little bit on the ag honda nsx 15' and fixed a few things on it. More grip in the tires, corrected gear ratios, weight balance, mass, etc. Might release it on sunday if someone can help me upload it!

I was wondering if it's possible to separate materials in CM? Right now the interior doesn't look so nice, bit i can't really fix it because the objects aren't independent.

Also wondered on how to implement the GPS feature for the display? :)

Edit: Lastly, is there a way i can lower the LED light strength? Same for the taillights, they are a bit too strong, you can't recall tell the difference if you are breaking or not.

hi , as promised here is my old version of the F355 Challenge (on the other hand I can not have a nice mesh back nor to generate AO for the bodyshell (black screen with CM))
For the new version (PC2 conversion) it will be necessary to be very very patient , I have a lot of trouble with the 3d/texture ....

Those guys and teams of modders who make their mods from scratch do not encrypt them. It doesn't make any sense.
And who encrypts "their" mods? Those who did not create them.
This is absurd. It turns out that the encryption tool was created so that narcissistic children who have mastered moding tools could "protect" their right to steal from Turn10, and irritate the community :)
This is a trolling tool, not a tool for anything else.
Its existence is meaningless, so those who are intended - do not need it. And it is used by those who should not be allowed to approach such tools within the range of a cannon shot. I was surprised when I read that Ilya made this tool ... I thought he just built it into the CM at the request of the author .. Is it true, Ilya, the author of the cryptor?

Ilja did not create the encryption thing at all, so it's not fair to put any blame on him.

What he did do is provide a way to use an encryption key (if a modder who does encrypt their mods provides it to him) so that CM users can at least make custom previews and view the car in the showroom.

Thinking of getting this shifter.

Anybody using one of these? Are they of good quality and performance? I know it won't win any beauty contest prizes, but I don't care about that. I like the quick switch possibility between h-patern and sequential. And the price seems very reasonable.
Youtube is probably full of video reviews but aren't they partially made from 3D printed plastic?
When you think that you might be using a shifter for, say, two hours a day (or whatever) then you really do want something that's not only bombproof, but also feels great and performs well. I really can't fault my Fanatec CSS v1.5, and its all-metal construction gives me confidence to slam through the gates without fear. You can pick them up used for a lot less than the RRP. I think I paid about £180 for mine, hardly used.
A shifter is not something you want to skimp on - it'll probably end up being a false economy.

Edit: Barry likes it and it seems pretty bombproof! Looks like a good buy and great value.

I thought so, and I don't blame him in any way.
Probably due to the complexity of the translation, I misunderstood what was written above, so I asked a question to clarify this.

Everything that Ilya does deserves great respect. And I would like to advise the creator of encryption to find a more useful and worthy application of their skills.
Let's ask the question - is there any benefit from it? No, definitely not, there is nothing to discuss here, and there is nothing to argue about. The only argument that those who encrypt 3D models of Turn 10 etc. can give, "I honestly stole the 3D model, you have no right to steal it from me" - causes laughter or irritation.
Is there any harm from him? Yes. At least because it causes controversy among us. Today, there are too many things around that make people argue.
