I don't really care for encryption, as long as the mod is complete as most of the GT converts and the ability to generate the preview via cm feature. Its fine, I don't even want to bother messing with it if it's done great.

But those that encrypt **** mods deserve to be roasted.

Anyone have a solution to this...
The car’s projected shadows only appear when passing a close replay camera then they disappear, leaving only a base shadow under the car shortly afterwards.

Using the stock Kunos Sauber C9 car and track here(Brands), but it happens with any car, on any track.
running CM version 0.1.66.

Does anyone know of a fix? I'm running with maximum Shadow resolution, (4K) and 16xAF.

Believe it or not, I prefer to listen in Italian, because I love your language sound.
I understand italian - not as much as english tho - and I would like to see (hear) your videos in italian.

The only way i can see CM becoming a problem is if it goes too far down a root of pay to play.
Reiza paid SMS to use the madness engine, had they of just taken it then i doubt SMS would have taken too long to sue them.

AC 2020 is basiclaly a new game built on the AC kunos engine, so far as an open game for moddrs its rolled on and no doubt benefited Kunos in new sales of base game...

But that is based on donations not actual pay to play....

If it did, not saying it will, go down a root of needing to purchase something simply to use AC or just to get some skins or whatever, maybe that could be the point kunos look at it and wonder if they should maybe look a bit deeper into it.

I am sure it will be fine, but certainly this new idea of a sort of steam workshop seems like a big step for something they never paid for any rights to use...

Just an opinion from me, as 'd hate to load up CM one day to find kunos changed some code and it was dead...

Everyday i load up another sim like say AMS2 or AMS1and even though i enjoy it.... within 1 hour i am loading up AC then spend hours on it sometimes not really doing seemingly, anything...just having fun messing about.

CM was made as a paradise for users, I hope it will not become an hell.

Original Assetto Corsa and CM pro. I ticked to update CM to untested version accidentally and then this appeared. There's a way to fix it or I need to reinstall CM? (please add the option to revert to previous versions)

Below I will show you a 2015 AC mod which I worked on for about 30(!!) minutes. Changing shader values, some textures and adding Ambient Occlusion (AO) to the body and rims. I'm showing this because it makes a HUGE difference. Like night and day!

And the only tools I used were Content Manager and paint.net!
I found a way to combine AO maps in paint.net so if anyone is interested I'll share it here.

I have an idea - if you complete the work on shaders etc (interior also can be nicer) maybe i could make the cali "rainfx friendly" (bc i see mine cali doesn't have working wipers /yet / )

PS. do you use default angular etc. settings to export AO from CM? cause i tried to make AO textures for civic spoon without licence plates, and the result was not good. (surely i know it can depend on the 3d model)

My screen sit behind the dd1 currently so about 65cm and im pretty sure it would fit. That said the tr160 has not arrived yet.. but as its wheel mount is direct up/down pretty sure it would work?

Guys how many vw I.D. R there are out there? I have the the 1ST studio racing one but I found the blue skin on RD but it doesn't fit for it and there's not write the car which fit.

You would need one from ELEMENT1999 if using Caddy_DPI skin for the VW I.D. R

People really don't need google. You can use DDG or sth (shortcut "d" in the address bar ). Use not google's browser, use different search engine, use ad blocker and trackers' blocker and soon you'll forget about google . Yup, google is a pain in the *ss.
Let's support and encourage free services, software, maybe free mods also? For instance I'm using Blender (even if it's harder to learn, though i could have easily used *racked version of 3dmax 2021 [2021 lol] / i don't believe people here buying big $ licence /or even 3dSimEd, just to edit some mods)

Of late I play mostly RF2, and after a few hours of chucking a car around a track in it, when I come back to AC i feel the same way, AC has so much going for it, but, let down by rather pokey physics and ffb (comparitively). When it gets down to the bone and I just want a good race, the fact rf2 has bad graphic (but getting better quickly) does not matter. SImilarly, when i have guests or the kids want a quick go, I fire up Pcars2 for them. Its all relative.

Some of them are hit or miss but always good to have more content. Started getting into modding some of these mods too due to lack of FFB or other minor oddities.

The Alpine mod in PCars2 looks 200% better that the one we have in AC, it would be great if a modder would port that one to AC.

Ibarra... It needs a LOT of texture work done, is anyone still in contact with Terra to ask permission for an update or ask for an update? Seems like the trees are dofferent and for sure its missing the sattelite terrain textures or mapped wrong, colours wrong, something, not sure what? Looks very plain when run in AC again the RF2 and AMS2 versions. Also would be good to add in the travelling vehicles in the background as can be seen in the other two versions.

Hey I'm still playing GTR2 when I want big, stable grids (and that sweet, sweet FIA GT 97-11 mod). Or Race07 for the WTCC cars / BTCC mod. Or rFactor for the 80s F1s. Graphics don't really matter as long as the racing is fun. I'll get crucified but I don't race much with AC (too tim consuming to find which tracks handles 'big' grids, which one has good AI...), I mainly hotlap and chill (is that even a thing ? Now it is).

That seems right. The skin is named as "default" in the list of CM-skins. You must tick it to make it active. Confusing, I should name them different.
