Hmm that is strange that he banned you unless you did it in very harsh words. Yes, most of SimTraxx track mods are works in progress and if you know a little bit on track modding, they can be somewhat fixed. But if the track needs a major update, then it has to be done by SimTraxx. Most people if you buy their pay mod tracks, they dont provide a refund back. So you almost have to read reviews on their work to see how reliable they are in their products before buying them. SimTraxx has allot of comments on their work in the past, one is on RaceDept and some here on this group, Most everyone here in this group knows about SimTraxx. take care.

i was asking for a refund thats all ,but he told me there will be updates ,i guess somewhere on 2025 ,and i was still asking just for a refund,my friend upload the video of the conversation ,but its in private state ,and there i started to realize how he thinks, kon i mean ,he is not the nice guy that he looks on the conversations ,,
you to !!

Personally, I am much more excited about the new workshop that Ilja has announced than the rainFX. I find the rain beautiful in simulators, but I never run with it. It is more like a curiosity that you admire for a few minutes and then forget about it. On the other hand, the workshop is a very useful tool that will serve many purposes. For example, to organize the mods in one place and not have to visit dozens of sites to find out what's new. Also to keep mods updated more easily. And finally so that the moders are promoted in a kind of common showcase. For me, there would be no problem if Ilja gave priority to the workshop.

Good Afternoon, I am finishing my project on race track builder and I would like to add some racing elements: marshal, ambulance, tow truck, but exporting them with 3dsimed from an original track every time I import them on race track builder and after on racing setup they are without material seeing themselves completely blacks, any ideas?

Other question, how to create a skid marks?

Hey man would it be possible to make an alternate version of the analog speedo without the tyres / turbo boxes ?

Hello All,

I got two Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale mods, but they are both seems overpowered (as I put them against the 996 GT3RS). Wondering if anyone got any other mods or will modify their power

And according to the power figures, it shouldn't be over performing the GT3RS by too much (or should be underperforming sometimes)

mind sharing the cars ? maybe its because of the tires

Just shows that different people have different priorities! :)

Wet racing is a big feature of European racing and some of the most exciting races I have seen in the past 50 years or so have been wet ones. I find driving at high speed in the wet extremely scary and exhilarating (I have never raced in real life, just driven track days), so to see it potentially modelled in a sim is very attractive to me. I am amazed at the visual aspect but it is the wet physics that really interests me and is the main reason why I support Ilja. Since he and others seem to be able, with time, to do almost anything, I am looking forward to realistic physics with different amounts of water on the track, drying lines, different tyres able to disperse water and with realistic grip characteristics etc. It's pretty crude at the moment but it's coming and is as far as I know likely to be better implemented in AC than anywhere else.

Quick update on the Fiat Panda which is very important for those of you who are using CSP with Real Mirrors ON.

The car had flipped mirrors in the previous versions with this plugin... now they are fixed ;)

Also:
  • New Campari racing skins by maruto
  • Rain fx with wipers (thanks to flying saucer)
  • Minor physics update (stiffer ARB)

Have a nice day :)

Hi guys How can I reduce the water spray i think it s a bit too much ... I m using CSP 0.1.65 Preview 1 ... Thank you

Spray is very poor IMO, i have two CM presets, one with the dirt particles off and rain fx on. Other the reverse....

I mean i actually have about 20 CM presets, but don't start me on that....

(ones for each important variables, keep meaning to cull it down a bit but never do)

Hi guys,
I was planning on transferring AC to a new drive. Typically, this is a standard procedure that can be accomplished within Steam, but with AC being heavily modded, I don't know whether Steam would simply transfer vanilla AC, thus having to reinstall all mods, CM, CSP, SOL etc...
Appreciate any insight anyone might have on the subject...
Thanks guys!

Call me dumb but I can't put on wet tyres on the ACFL 2018. I've installed the addon and tried to switch on via jsgme and it works for all the tyres except for the Intermedium and the Wet. I've also tried the change color program wich was included in the pack but nothing change. Any tips?

Quick question: Does anyone know of a 6th generation Ford Fiesta ST mod? Just like, a regular road-going version? It would be the 2013-2019 version. I've looked several times over the years and have never seen one pop up. Also what about a 3rd or 4th generation Mitsubishi Eclipse (2000-2005 for 3rd generation, 2006-2012 for 4th gen)? If I could find these 2 cars I'd have mod versions of all of the interesting cars I've ever owned in real life (luckily the 86, the rx8, the nc miata, 2nd gen rx7, and current camaro all have nice mods available)

Other question, how to create a skid marks?

There are a ton of Bob's Track Builder X-packs available on racedepartment and many of them can be used in race track builder. some can't, models will be weird with hidden faces and stuff, and in those cases you can open the xpack in xpacker and fix it. Lots of stuff in those xpacks like marshals, ambulances, tow trucks, trees, etc... There are also skid marks available in some of those packs too, I think "default x-pack for evo" has some skid marks in them. Skid marks use the "wall" object in race track builder and you can use walls for any surface you wish. I usually use wall objects for kerbs now because the default kerbs in race track builder are kind of ugly. You can also use them for signs, to fill in holes, etc.

I have three AC installations, all of which work fine via Content Manager. I just copied my assettocorsa folder straight onto the drives and these run entirely independently of Steam, so I don't get bugged by unnecessary updates or have Steam prying into my racing activities. You just have to point CM to the right installation and it will use that one. All CM settings remain as they were.

One installation is on an SSD for speed of loading, the other is just a spare. I keep the Steam installation for online, which I have yet to try despite years of participation on GPL leagues from 1998 onwards. I am not sure whether the full set of online servers would be available to me on the non-Steam installations, though I think private online racing with a couple of chums would work.

Just watch out if you compress your stuff with CM (which saves an incredible amount of space and also speeds up loading). I find myself unable to copy over compressed files in the ordinary way; I have to uncompress them which is a right pain as I have 2500 cars and 300 odd tracks. But I'm sure there are ways of doing it, which I would be glad to hear about.

Imola 1995-2006 (2001) v0.devbeta2

Welcome to the development teaser of Imola, layout representing the years 1995-2006 with a focus on recreating the 2001 F1 race held at the famous circuit. This is not a formal release of any kind, please do not fork this version or otherwise distribute outside GTP.
The final version will be worth waiting.

I am releasing this dev beta to GTP for others to 1. enjoy a sneak peek, 2. help out making this a great track
Sometimes you need new eyes on a project, and mine are cooked.

The biggest consideration is historic accuracy, the walls and TSO as seen in game are now 98% accurate from raceday and incar videos from 2001
Thus, do not make any changes to disrupt the existing look of walls and fences except to fix flicker issues. Cranes are nearly perfectly placed now.

Read the earlier post about some issues, thus WALLS are a priority to sort out.

- 26 pit/start
- TV cam
- AI (bugged start but ok)
- surfaces and cut/anti-cheats working
- double obs removed except for wall obs (hopefully)
- 10 skins (new rough wip 2001 skin, others derived from source track variations)
- lights/rain/grass

GTP tasks to do:
1. help sort the walls, PM me for details
2. some texture normals/specular to be assigned
3. better AI, more cams (historic TV, spectator, trackside)
4. develop skins fully for 2001, add other historic entries, remove some "branding"
5. fix replay flickering
6. more...

Prefer fixes over patching via ext_config, please PM for questions or fixes, please do not fill the forum with them.
(Please do fill the forum with screenshots of the track!)

I recently transferred my AC to a new drive using the Steam built-in tool. The only additional thing that I needed to do was to point CM to the new location of AssettoCorsa.exe. Everything works perfectly. Good luck!

I hear ya, several others feel the same way. I dont know how much longer I will also be a member with them but have not had any problems with Kon, knock on wood. Nice having this conversation with you and thanks for your info and dealings with SimTraxx. take care.
