Hello friends, I have a version of the Interlagos track, a version from the 50s / 60s of Rfactor, which I downloaded during Orkut time. Someone who could be willing to try to convert to the Assetto Corsa? It would pass via WeTransfer. Thank you very much in advance.

As for the Honda, i made a separate file for RainFx:
[HEADER]
VERSION=extended-2 ; version number

[_EXTENSION]
RAIN_DEV=1

I don't have the Patreon version of the CSP with RainFX, but in any case, who has it might have a try 👍
Thanks. It actually works with RainFX without using that alternate data.acd file. I find that the vast majority of cars work with RainFX physics without altering anything if you have the Patreon build of CSP that can enable it for cars through the checkbox in the Drive tab. It has made it much easier to drive with rain physics.

To work, it works, but it won't use the extended physics, which means it won't work properly with rain physics on track.
Try both data.acd and let us know.

p.s.
at some point I will go to Patreon...

Hmmm.. I will try the other one and see if I can tell a difference, but me and the AI were slipping and sliding with the original data.acd, so what would be different then?

Have you tried my "shaft" :)

:lol::lol::lol: negative ghost rider!
I'll put what I said to a test on pp's colors etc, not touching anything from what I have and just using your lua and pp :odd: and post one set of shots. Going in :D

edit- well now that changing pp's changes cloud position with sun angles and brightness its kinda pointless (forgot where to turn off weather switching with pp's). But one looked a little bright bright (regardless of cloud changing) and one looked fantastic and equal to whats in my last vid :cheers:

Your Alfa Romeo 33 T12 is terrific. Thank you !
Please...are you going to put out a final version past .99d?
I find the .99d difficult to keep on track once applying brakes on a fast turn. It just snaps loose.

Until RMi_wood updates, you might want to try the setup I posted over on RD.

Probably you're right, since I don't have the RainFX version of CSP. But when I first saw the cars needed those strings in car.ini i decided to clone the data.acd just in case. If the newer CSP doesn't need it anymore, it's better then :D
If anyone knows more about it...

I started using RainFX prior to that version, then I heard about it and found the special version of Patreon, which may or may not still be limited to there, I think CSP has been updated once since then. Anyways, if the option is in the settings to enable the rain physics in the Drive tab, then you can set for specific cars or just set it globally and then no more adjusting data files and adding those lines of code. Like I mentioned though, select cars (very few in my experience) still don't work with it, but otherwise, I just leave it on and get rain physics whenever I make it rain on nearly every car I drive.

I apologize if it might seem like a sin to some, but after driving both the Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO (RSS Lanzo V10) and the Emil Frey G3 (BTW, the latter seems a bit easier to drive than the former, but still both great cars nonetheless), I kinda wanted to improve the exterior of the G3 a little bit using those Kunos shader values I downloaded here from @GIBBONS long time ago to try and replicate the look from Competizione and also because it honestly seemed a little bit too bright to me.

But sadly it seems that front lights glass and some carbon parts aren't really affected that good with those values, since the glass turns too much white and some carbon parts get messed up a bit. So I hope in an update to see those glass parts made clearer and those carbon parts fixed by perhaps separating them if possible at all.

Porsche 911 (993) Cup 3.8 RSR 1997 , V0.5 : by Shokeus Act80's

I did the best to stick to reality but it is difficult to find the right information on this model , 3D level I did not succeed in integrating properly the gas hatch in the engine hood and I did not succeed in doing the template/AO for the bodyshell , I still have the same problem and if I use blender I have holes in the body , if a charitable soul would like to help me it would be nice , waiting for fun to you (I like it a lot !)

Another future Master Piece. V0.5 and it is fabulous, in fact, better than many V1.0 mods around.
Please don't change (too much) the physics. The feeling is very close to the RR Porsche driving. Fabulous.

This Jaguar seems to me, perfect!
The sound, OMG. The sound is more than fantastic, every scale, every RPM, every throttle press, every engine sound is a sinfony. Well done.

One of the best handling ever. I was 'traveling' around some tracks with TC Off. It seems to behaves like a GT3 should.
Allowing to drive hard, untill that thin line where we pass the control and the car starts to fight with us. Not that stupid feeling of driving on ice, unfortunately in so many MODS out there.
For me is perfect.

Thank you Delpinsky and to all team.

v1.3 update
- Fixed an issue where the car would fall into a hole in pitlane

If you have problems loading, delete the files other than fast_lane.ai and pit_lane.ai in the ai file.

Another fabulous work. Thank you.

Now with all this and some more tracks and cars to test, I really have lack of time to extract all the joy of this.
Only wish get some time and mood, to enjoy the marvelous work from you all.

Cheers

For those wondering what came of my involvement (I'm sure there's at least one person out there);
The author grasped the concept of merging/joining meshes by material in blender (SHIFT L -> Material + CTRL +J) and now the track performs as a Kunos track would, it's still not quite the looker but if you wanted the track in AC this is the best you have right now to my knowledge

It somehow astonishes me how many posts you have here and have learned absolutely nothing about how Assetto Corsa shaders work, I'm surprised to see you having the Lanzo since you don't even have a legitimate AC copy last I heard. Anyway for any readers above Tony's IQ; It seems the mod he's using has a non-white alpha for the diffuse/txdetail texture and as such it's bleeding blue, on top of that he's just cluelessly copypasted shader values entirely disregarding detailUVMultiplier which is what determines how many times over the txDetail is tiled under the txDiffuse's Alpha.

I say leave mod-fixing to people who can do more than press the download button on every piece of content they see :D

Hello everyone! I'm fascinated with the Rain FX and would like to use it for my online server races. I've tried with no luck selecting rain weather on server setup and also checking Rain box on the Rain Fx window previous to connecting to the server... And nothing, just black clouds but no rain... Any ideas?
In single player mode works like a charm, but can't figure out how to implement it to my server.

Hey all, I made some updates to Brno '65 and released an update at RD.
  • Fixed AI side-lines
  • Added collision to some objects that it was missing from before
  • Added smooth_normals to the road and grass to enhance the shadows and rain puddles (this should make the shadows on the road edge less harsh and have a more uniform blend with the road)
  • Fixed a texture on a house that was wrong
  • Added more space between starting positions
Grab it here: https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/brno-1965.37239/

My apologies folks,

Somehow I forgot to include the AI hints for RT Mont Tremblant GP and GP Variant layouts. It's actually the same file, no folder structure in the zip, so extract it to each of these data folders:

"your copy of Assetto Corsa"\content\tracks\rt_mont_tremblant\gp\data
&
"your copy of Assetto Corsa"\content\tracks\rt_mont_tremblant\gp_variant\data

I noticed some interest in requests for the Peugeot 908. The only easily available one is at Assettoland. I have had a real interest in these cars and been using NeilB1971 LMP pack, making the cars work and putting some grids together. The 908 mod from Assettoland posted here by YETIsaj back in page 1052 had some good work done on skins for 2007-2009 but the car didn't feel right and lacked grip especially front downforce in fast corners.
After much time and work I completely overhauled all the data/physics:

-engine now has higher boost pressures as expected in the real 908.
-torque curve adjusted in conjunction with boost to simulate engine 703bhp and 1200Nm torque.
-centre of gravity slightly adjusted
-aero completely reworked
-ai redone
-suspension and setup completely reworked
-fuel consumption, inertia, brakes etc adjusted
-some slight changes and addition to drivetrain ratios
-tyres completely redone in line with Kunos LMP1 standards
-enduro lights added to the side lights
-Extension config for CSP for audio volume adjustments and interior night light.

The car really needs the assistance of the skills from the likes of flying_saucer to get working wipers to be complete.
If we can get this done then I can complete and upload a 30 car 2007 Lemans grid.

Sound is from Ford Transit mod by ACFAN - diesel sound that varies from the Audis.

The base setup is close for qualifying, just adjust the Traction Control where you like it.

The 908's competition partner is also updated with BoP. Many thanks again to NeilB1971:
